???Oil/Fat Grams in Deep-Fried Foods???

I have recently begun using a countertop deep fryer. I do drain the foods well after frying. My question is how do I account for the fat in those foods that I deep fry? Eg. In a fitday/food diary, how many fat grams should I add?

I am not familiar with Fitday or what nutrient analysis program it uses. But with any program, entering in the appropriate food and portion size is most important for the accuracy of the nutrition analysis. It is only an estimate, will never be exact. It is difficult to give advice on this, because it is dependent on how high the temperature is and how much oil is used. The higher the temp, the less will be absorbed. But for me to give you specific guidelines would be as good as the guestimate that you make. Focus more on ensuring that your carbohydrates are controlled to the level that is appropriate for you to continue your weight loss or to maintain. Sorry I was not able to help more.
