Atkins Advantage bars vs. Hood CC Yogurt

Since the weight loss has recently slowed to a crawl, I thought I would do some re-thinking of my eating. I am still following induction level carbs, but have added in a few things for variety. Probably 2 months after a solid, clean induction I thought if I saw another egg I would , so I started having an Atkins Advantage bar for breakfast. I've recently switched that for a Hood Carb Countdown yogurt. I just wondered if I'm really any better off doing this or if it really matters at all.

Any ideas?

yes the yogurt is much much better! The bars contain glycerine which stall a lot of people.

That's great that you are adding more variety into your daily meal planning! It is true that some people notice that glycerine and sugar alcohols may slow their weight loss, but this is on an individual basis. If you have the yogurt all the time without mixing it up with other breakfast choices, you may become tired of it too just as with eggs. Now is the time to really start individualizing this approach to eating according to your preferences, and it may take a few tries to figure out what you like to eat that you can still include while still losing weight and maintaining. So don't eliminate the advantage bar just yet, if you are enjoying it and the variety it adds. But if you find that it is the reason for a stall, then you may want to go with other choices to add that variety. Good luck!

Matt -

That's kind of what I was thinking until I saw a post just yesterday by Tada that said that yogurt stalled her cold and then I was worried. I won't stop eating the advantage bars completely, this just gives me another option.

Thanks all!
