Pickles??

Hi I have the atkins app on my phone but I don't see pickles listed. It says 1 carb on pickle jar. Is this okay on induction? Can I use it as my vegetable carb count?? Tia

I'm not sure I would count a pickle as a vegetable. They are pretty much void of all nutritional value. I eat them because I love them, but I also don't aim for any specific "veggie carb count."

I love pickles...but unfortunately they make me retain water....just make sure they are not the sweek kind...great for a crunchy snack!!

a while back some folks posted that they like to drink dill pickle juice. My first reaction was - huh? but I tried it, and I got to really like it. Yep, lots of sodium, though.

At our softball tournaments, they have started selling picklecicles....frozen pickle juice! The kids love them and that salt helps on super hot days!
