Accidental Cheat

Quite upset,

Have been working really hard and trying to keep my water levels up by drinking 2+litres a day and realised that the flavoured water (to change things up) wasn't sugar free.

I downed 24g pure sugar (not even carbs) in about 1 hour.

Not sure if this means I should re-start Induction to make it clean or if I can make up for it somehow?

Just get right back on plan. Drink water plain or with a little bit of lemon juice the rest of the day and keep on keeping on!

Thanks for the advice!
I think I'm going to stick to plain water for at least the next 2 weeks. Don't want to have the scare I had today.

I gave up soda years ago (even diet) and drink La Croix sparkling water. I prefer the plain but they also have flavors that are 0 carbs. Pretty easy to find around town at places like Target, grocery stores or Whole Foods. Cheaper than Perrier (although I love Perrier) and more convenient to find.

I know 24 grams can be considered a lot on some plans, but think of it as a piece of fruit; that's about average. Unless you're diabetic, it won't affect your health very much. Think of it as a blip in the radar and get right back on plan.

Diet Soda is something I'm working towards giving up. At the moment I'm using it if I have an intractable craving for sweet food and I'm not at home to fix up a minute muffin or 1 minute cheesecake etc

Thanks for all the support. I've been trying to do a clean induction and panicked a bit when I realised!
