New! Day 1

So I decided that after feeling like crap, having no energy, feeling bloated and not fitting into anything I own; that I'm going to do something about it. I did low carb a few years ago and lost 15lbs in 2 months and felt great, but laziness and life got me back to bad stupid habits. So here I am. Starting over and trying again.

My start weight: 166lbs!
Height: 5'0 (I'm lugging around a lot of extra weight!)
Goal: 110-115lbs (which falls in the "healthy range")

I'm going to go super strict induction and stay on it as long as it takes! I know the next few days may be a bit rough, but I know it will be worth it.

I believe my book is the old school Atkins plan, but I'd have to bust it out and double check. From my experience my best results (both weight and feeling) are with keeping my carbs rather low, so I'm going to try that again. I'm going to focus on my hunger and learning what it means.

I know I eat when I'm bored, so I'm going to fix that. I know I eat when I really might be thirsty or tired, so I'm going to change that. Basically, I'm going to stop being lazy and learn how to be more in control of what goes on in my body.

I eat when I am bored also... or stressed.... :/

I feel ya KyliesMom! I work from home too so it's sooo easy to eat when I'm bored. Now I just gotta get the right stuff in my kitchen and switch that "graze" button off.

I'm starting today too! And new to posting on LCF!

B- 2 Hard boiled eggs
S- 4oz grilled chicken and a string cheese
L- One can albacore tuna, mayo, capers, green onion, pepper and 2 cups lettuce

H20- 45 oz so far.

I'm working my way towards running a 5k. Did 35 minutes of interval running this morning and headed to HIIT bootcamp later today. Worried the lack of carbs will make me sluggish the first few days. But in it to win it!
