any ideas on how to kick start weight loss after stalling?

Hello, I'm knew here to LowCarbFriends. I have been on Atkins induction for 6 months now and so far lost 82lbs. I have had stalls and cheated for a day with any carbs I wanted, then would lose weight in the next Couple of days. Woohoo!

Now I am asking for YOU to share your weight loss 'stall' experience and how you got out of a stall and started losing again. Also if cheating for a day helped you. Thank you and good luck to all!

I don't know what plan you are doing but I'm following the Atkins '72 induction. Basically I eat meat, eggs, cheese and fat. I have had a couple of weeks where I bounce around the same number but a stall is where you haven't lost pounds or inches for 6 weeks.

Don't let the scale scare you into thinking you need to change things up unless it's been 6 weeks. Your body sometimes needs some time to catch up. Just keep doing what you are doing and have faith that the weight will come off. Maybe not on your time schedule (if that were true I'd already be at goal!!) but it WILL come off!

You have done so well so far!! You can do this!!

Well I always noticed that , when I have a "cheating" day and in the next day I return regidly to the diet , the weight starts to go down again ...

Yes Kimber! I am doing the same thing! I am trying to lose as much weight as possible as fast I can and I normally only have 5 carbs a day if that. It gets easier for me since I don't crave food anymore. You are doing wonders to keep up the good work!

I am in an official stall -- over 6 weeks.
Can't say I haven't strayed a bit off path, so my strategy is to get back to the straight and narrow. I know what that means, now i just have to implemented. I am a couple of days back "in the game," so I am looking for a loss before the end of the month. I've never lost more than 2 pounds a month. Right now I'd be happy with 1 !!
