Good morning everyone.

Thank you, MtherGoos and Bonny-Jean, but it was easy to leave that party with that house full of crap food. Nothing there would tempt me. I like my own cooking better than most others. And anyway, I knew I was close to this...

1 - 188.5
2 - 188.0
3 - 188.0
4 - 188.5
5 - 188.5
6 - 188.5
7 - 187.0

... and didn’t want to mess it up.

I think as long as we don't

"lift our arms in the air like we just don't care"

we should be fine!

Maybe we should just think of that skin as a BADGE OF HONOUR!!!!
We sure worked hard to get it!

I have decided to start walking...I know that exercise tends you stall the scale and I am not going to worry about the "number"...I just want to tone up and the scale will move eventually. I don't see that walking can hurt anyone...right?

Good afternoon everyone! I finally got another good loss on the scale this morning! For some reason my body is responding better this time around. I had read somewhere that the first time was the "golden" opportunity, so I am relieved to see that it's working even better this time for me (3rd in ten yrs).

July Goal: 197

7-2: 201.6
7-3: 201.2
7-4: 200.2
7-5: 200.6

So far no state surveyor’s in the building so we are good to go for this hike I think. Not sure how I am going to fall asleep so early on Wed so I can be up by 3ish. Need to do my math again and try to find my time from last year. Have to be back in time to pick up the kids at daycare.
Todays plan, work, CX Works, then Body Step.

Tiggy – I started doing body pump twice a week a week or two ago. I like it. Still working out what my weights should be. My wife did it once last week and has discovered that she has some new muscles that were very soar!

Man, I love induction! Shame it is mostly water, and the scale won't continue to move this quickly for long. Oh, well. I will take it while I can get it!

Way to go Kizz! Looks like we are at the same start point. I hope to join you in Onederland soon.

Man it isn't easy when you aren't prepared. I didn't pack food for work today. I stopped at McDees got a steak egg and cheese bagel...only to throw out the bagel cheese and onion. Then for lunch I order half a mushroom cheesesteak and threw out the bun. Amazing how little steak you actually get..pitiful all you are really eating with those is the bun. Had some olives and chicken wings when I got home. I made a peppercorn marinated pork tenderlion (pre package 3 carbs in 4 oz) its terrible..I guess I don't like pepper that much.

So...making deviled eggs now and will take a cheddar brat with me (3 carbs per brat). I have chicken and pork chops thawing out for tomorrow night. I'm going to bacon wrap the chicken, not sure about the pork yet but that should keep me clean the rest of the week.

Morale of story..be prepared with something.

Morning All

I've decided that since I'm strictly doing Atkins '72 Induction version I guess I'll just hang on the
Atkins '72 boards in the "July Atkins 72 Induction Support" thread for awhile. It makes sense to me because I am so passionate about this particular version, I will post there.
See y'all! Good luck everybody!

It's funny how sometimes I want to pick up my scale and hug it and other times I want to pick up my scale and smash it!! It was a smash it kind of morning today. I figured I would be down something considering I only ate about 500cal yesterday. I will never understand this body of mine!!

Have a good day!

I normally work nights so I weigh in when I wake up before work. I have tonight off so I won't weigh in until tomorrow morning.
Fish soup
I start by cooking a couple of pieces bacon. Take out the bacon and put in finely chopped onion, celery and garlic and a couple of diced turnips. When it's soft I put the veggies in a slow cooker. Add a bunch of water and some seafood flavoring and several pieces of fish I use frozen swai. I add it frozen. Turn it up to high and let it cook all day. When it's done add cream and enjoy. It's also good with cream cheese added in.

Good morning all. Sorry to see you go Bonny-Jean but a lot of us on here seem to be here more for the moral support and not sticking to strict induction. I think you and MG are really the only 2 who have stayed the course. Having been chatting since February here I have found it very encouraging when I start to waver to come back and see everyone's successes, but I understand how it's frustrating to those of you who are so dedicated to see people question their results when they aren't truly doing induction. Your results speak for themselves, if you do it, the weight comes off. I myself stick to Induction levels as much as possible, but allow a cheat here and there because I know I can get right back on plan the next day. It's what works for me, but I don't have a lot more to lose and I'm probably the only one who even notices if I go up a couple of pounds here and there before dropping a few more.

I'm not a fish fan, unless it's breaded and fried and has tartar sauce too as someone else said, so Leanne my first reaction was "Yuck!" (sorry) to your recipe. My second reaction was: "good thing BJ's gone 'cause that is NOT induction friendly!" She'll be mad....lol.

Kimber, congrats on hitting the 160's.

James, my son says Development Camp with the Sharks this week is "a whole 'nother level" of tough compared to what he's used to. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger, right? I wish I had your dedication to exercise. I know I need to tone up even though I don't weigh that much, it's lumpy and bumpy where it never used to be. My husband does P90X 4 days a week. I don't like to sweat, so yeah, that's not happening either.

Neener, I agree, I always find it easier if I have stuff prepared. Then when the hungries hit, which they do from time to time, I can grab something that keeps me on track. I used to make the one minute muffins, the low carb cheesecakes, and the almond meal muffins. I know they weren't on induction either, but they had the "mouth feel" of what I was craving and they didn't take me far off plan. I should probably make myself some more...

Hello to everyone else, hope you all have a wonderful day.

Hi Everyone,

I post in Atkins '72 induction, but I figured I'd come over here too. It can't hurt to have support all over the place, right?

I don't have my book with me, but I do remember the past few days for my stats:

7/4-207.6
7/5-206.4
7/6-206.4
7/7-206.4
7/8-204.7
