Good morning to all.

Well done, Bonny-Jean!

2 - 188.0
3 - 188.0
4 - 188.5
5 - 188.5
6 - 188.5

So I go to this oh-so-fancy house party and everyone has brought pastas, cookies, cakes, chips, fruit drinks, and snacks of all kinds. This was what they called “dinner.” So when the meal started I just left, went home, and fixed myself some real food. You do what you gotta do.

Love it Mountain! That's how I am too. I'd rather just not eat, or leave and find food I can eat, but I'll never use it as an excuse to give in and eat the stuff I shouldn't.... and really don't even want to eat.

Hey y'all

Jo: YOU of all people certainly don't have to ask OUR permission. Love to have you here as well!

CPG: I hear ya about the birds and we have a large murder of crows in our area. Lord, I hate those ones. Those loud kaw's will get you outta bed in a heck of a hurry!!!

mister: Don't fret over that darn scale too much. It rarely is anybody's friend occasional yes but not too often! Hang in there, you'll be fine.

DQ: So tell me what the "perks" of first class are. I too have never been on it.

mountain: You ROCK!! Way to stay away from all that crap! Very proud of you and hopefully you're very proud of yourself too!! It does get easier as you go down this road. You're awesome!!

Mthergoos: Thank you dahlin' btw: how many belts do you have???? LOL.
Pretty tiny waist you got there.

Oh, almost forgot! Bonny-Jean, just for you, I had a salad with my rib eye last night! About 1 cup of lettuce, some shredded cheese, and some blue cheese dressing on it. That's my maintenance addition for now.

Eh, I've never really eaten much of anything in the way of fruit, and fruit is higher in sugar, so I figured I'd start with some veggies. Except of course for avocado, which I've eaten occasionally for the last several months anyway.

July weekly weigh in
July 5th - 208

I was away camping, spent the day on the river and stay on plan. So hard with everyone around me swigging down beers, wine coolers, eating pepperoni bread but I stuck to my guns.

Everyone seems to have made it by the holiday well!

How bad are the diet vitamins waters, says 0 carbs in 1 serving 2 servings in the bottle?

Also olives..I love olives as a snack I ate a few over the last two days. I had olives in stead of chips or the darn black berry cheese cake ice cream everyone else was eating.

Have a great week!

Neener, good for you for staying on plan!! I think olives are ok! I'm pretty sure Dr A even lists them in the 72 version as being allowed, so I think you did just great!

I am starting to feel like a bouncy ball. Having fish soup with a Greek salad for dinner tonight. Hope the combo works. I am ready for a lower number. On a great note I am getting stronger and less bumpy. I mean the skin on my legs is noticeably smoother. I am still wrinkly and still have bat wings but at least I am starting to see a difference with the weight training. With the scale not moving in a steady downward direction it is important for me to find something to stay motivated. Lol.

Have a great night. I am off to work.

Breakfast ~ 2 Eggs and 1 Tablespoon of Butter
Lunch ~ 2 Eggs, mashed up and mixed with mustard and 1 Tablespoon of MCT Oil for an egg salad

Snack ~ 1 ounce of extra sharp cheddar cheese

Dinner ~ Some type of meat, usually on the grill. Usually a steak or pork steak. I eat all the visible fat off first, and then some of the meat if I'm still hungry for it. Sometimes I'll have ground beef mixed with cheese.

That's about it. I keep it simple. Sometimes I'll have bacon for breakfast instead of the eggs, but not often. And in a few months I may change the menu up some.
That is definitely simple. Thank you so much for sharing

2-3 coffee and 2-3 Diet Coke and 6-8 water.

2 or 3 times a week I'll have sf jello with 4 tbsp whipped cream.

So that's it for me and yes, everyday it's pretty much that and luckily I have no problem with it. Hope that helps. I don't eat veggies cause I don't like them anyway. Of course the only one I like is corn and no surprise it's the worst one to eat. Figures!
Thank you, Bonny Jean. I am starting to get a much clearer picture now. This is pretty much zero carb right? Very simple and I am thinking I am going to follow this as well.

Leanne21071 Fish soup? I dont see how that is a food!!! O well to each their own.

Did the pool thing did the BBQ thing. He is getting better.

Tomorrow I will know if I can do Pikes Peak this week or not. If state walks in for the survey then I am screwed. If they don't then I am golden.

Happy July everyone, sorry have been MIA.

The blasted scale has got me down its now up to 79.2kg for no bloody reason. I was sitting around 76 for ages and gained 3kg in a week. I know part of it is down to TOM but this is getting ridiculous. I feel like a bloated warthog. I haven't been doing my normal gym stuff the last two weeks as been extremely exhausted which probably hasn't helped. I did my bloods last week and am anaemic again, this time a different kind to the previous (before it was pernicious from a B12 deficiency). Which is silly considering how much rare beef I eat! So need to work out a schedule to get back on iron so it doesn't mess up my thyroid absorption.

I have kept up doing my pilates which was making me sore - but how ridiculous is that, pilates giving me doms? Normally I need 50kg of heavy lifting to do that! Anyone else here have EDS? I'm gojng to try bodypump again today after pilates and see how it goes as last time I had to stop after the first song - which is ridiculous too considering I was doing it 3x a week before with no problems!

Hope everyone has been doing okay, enjoying the summer and lots of yummy lc foods! I'm going to catch up over the week with whats been happening!

Till then, I leave you with a belated Happy Canada Day wish from one of my kitties!

Woohoo Bonny Jean for a great week!! You will be down to goal before you know it!!!

Busy, busy day. I'm training someone at work to do my job while I'm away next month. It is such a tedious task to do and there is so much information I have to make sure she knows about. I'm glad that I finally found someone that I feel confident that she can learn this and be good at it too! You would think with the economy the way it is I would have my pick of people to hire. That is just not so Weird!!

Have a good day! Catch up with everybody later.

Morning All

Hi Tig: Love the pic. Too funny. You should change your kg's to pounds. They add up so much faster than kg's.

Kimber: Always love seeing your numbers! You're doing such a good job and it shows. Very proud of you, young lady!

Well, just a heads up that a new thread was started on the Atkins '72 board called July Atkins 72 Induction Support and I think it's specific to "hard core" folks doing Atkins '72 Induction. I hope anyone that's going thru this very strict Induction will visit us over there as well. You probably know that with all the woe's out there and all the versions of Atkins, the '72 Induction is probably the hardest so if you're determined to do that, please join us there!!!

Bonny My cellulite is going away and my arthritis is feeling better. Yes it is worth it. Last time I hit goal I was skinny fat. Not this time! I might not be able to hit the same number 125 but I will fit back into my size 4's. My muscle definition is already better and once I lose more fat I will let you know about the excess skin. Lol my upper arms are my problem area well I have a lot of problem areas but that is the area I do not want to have to hide. I like sleeveless blouses but they do not like me.

Morning everyone!

Anyone else drink the 0 calorie vitamin water (I prefer the ICE brand). Its says 0 carbs in 1 serving, serving per container is 2. Just wondering if there are any hidden carbs in there.

Look at you go Kimber WTG!!

Fish soup? I wish I liked fish more, I only like it if its breaded, fried and covered in tartar sauce.

I'm not exercising yet but I am determined to stay busy around my house every evening. I sit all day at work so I'm trying not to sit at home until close to my bed time. I'm such muncher in front of the TV so I'm trying to change those habits.

Hey girlie, I think it worked for me... I don't think my arms are that "bat wingy" since I lost all the weight... but I still have loose skin, that's covered up by my tank and shorts in my after pic. But all in all, I'm really pleased by the results!! I could use some plastic surgery if I were 30 years younger -- but at my age, it just doesn't seem worth it since clothes covers it up and I'm too cheap to pay for it!

If I ever had the chance to get plastic surgery, it would absolutely be for my arms. They are really really bad. My wings have wings. But that's probably never going to happen, so I just avoid short sleeves or tank tops out in public.
