3 T or 3 OZ Heavy Whipping Cream per day??

Hi friends!

I'm just getting back onto the induction wagon, but I have to repurchase the book. I remember most of the rules but I'm unsure what the cream allotment was. I often hear 3 T and I also often hear 3 OZ, which are very different (unless I'm missing something??)

Your help is much appreciated!!

Hi Carrie
I was a hwc junkie and couldn't seem to get enough of it but it did seem to hurt or slow my losses then I discovered Silk products. Tried the Unsweetened Almond, then the Almond/Coconut Blend and now only use the Coconut and it's delicious. I slowly weaned off hwc and my coffee tastes great.
I still do a 90/10 split though.
A whole cup only has 40-50 calories, 0 fat and just less than 1 carb!! It's full of vitamins and minerals as well. You should try it!!

Thanks Bonny-Jean!

I use unsweetened almond milk and really love it, but I mix it primarily in my daily Red Raspberry Leaf tea, or in 1 T cocoa powder with 1/2 cup almond milk + 1/2 cup water. It is SO creamy!

HWC, however, I like as a treat whipped. I don't really use it for anything else. But I'm going to just eliminate it while on induction. 3 T whipped is a bit too much of a tease!

Well, if you can go without hwc then that's even better!! When I was using that in my coffee, it was like the more I put in my coffee... the MORE I wanted.
Never in my life have I liked "thick" coffee but that hwc was very addictive and hard to limit to a tsp or two. Glad you're not gonna bother with it!

You can have "one ounce of sour cream or three ounces of unsweetened heavy cream"
