Did I mess up?

I am on day 2 of Induction and woke up with a huge sweet craving. So for breakfast I made my favorite chocolate and peanut butter protein shake with Swansons whey protein (<2carbs), almond milk, cocoa powder, MCT oil, truvia, and 2 Tbsp of Adam's natural peanut butter (4 net carbs I think...don't have the jar on me). Overall the carb count would be reasonable for the shake but it wasn't until I was in the car on my way to work that I remembered that we aren't supposed to have nuts during our first two weeks. How strict is that no nut thing? Did I mess up?

I guess I should mention that I'm using the "Adkins Made Easy" book

According to my Atkins for a new you book, nuts and seeds should be avoided in the first two weeks of induction except for flax seeds. l would count the net carbs and move on. Don't freak out too much.

Shake it off and move on... you'll do better next time. If you stall (don't lose weight) or get cravings you'll know why -- that's always an important lesson to learn!

Wishing you continued success on your LC WOE journey!
