Worked 1/2 day today and then went and had a pedicure with my daughter-in-law. Love the Frenchie on my toes! So cute! Made a trip to the library and picked up a few books to read and a book on tape (my first).

Although looking at old pics is scary, it does give you a boost to never wanna go back there.

I went shopping today...first stop, new bra. I've been trying to use my old ones, but ya' know...they got kind of stretched out as I was gaining weight. I've gone down 2-3 band sizes, and look like I'm 10 lbs lighter with the new support!! Then I went to a resale shop, and got several tops in an XL (just not as fitted as the ones up in my closet)! A VERY encouraging day!

Better: since losing this weight, I've turned into a shopoholic!! I must have dress pants for work in 3 different sizes now. Just bought my first Size 12 since I was in my 20's. That felt awesome. I'm slowly getting into medium tops. It's a wonderful thing. It's like if it isn't one addiction, it's another!

And the downward slope continues. Down a half-pound this morning. Hoping I can get those last two off by the end of June to hit my goal!

Going for a run this morning with my daughter, a little bit of work, then maybe go to the lake for a few hours.

Thank you for the encouragement. Yes, I’ve been eating perhaps 30 carbs a day, but it looks like that is not low enough. Yesterday was 24 carbs. Even so....

hello everyone!
It was a comedy of errors at my house this morning, and I didn't weigh again! grah!
i will definitely weigh tomorrow.

I had some scrambled eggs and a sausage this morning and that should hold me through the day. Last night i got home late- around 8, and made myself a little salad. That and a couple glasses of wine...and i worked until 1am cleaning!!! i am nuts.

Guess which 46 year old, totally out of shape, formerly 300 pounder did the splits in yoga class last night??? YAY!!! LOL

Wow, you know you MamaG... no matter what you do!! I think you're actually exceeding YOUR OWN expectations!!! That's pretty cool you were able to do that but how? Are you stretching or what??? I mean I know I can reach a lot farther around and to places I couldn't before but I'm sure my unused muscles are pretty tight. So what are you doing???

I know this won't make any sense but I've been off ALL those supplements for 3 days now, no cramps and the scale finally moved. Hmm, I agree it seems inconceivable but what else.... just coincidence????

Bonny-Jean, I you!! LOL You always make me laugh! Honestly, I've just been going to yoga for a few weeks now. I've always been fairly limber, but at 300 pounds that fact was easily forgotten. I feel like I can stretch a little further and move a little easier each week that I go. I really love it! You're right, I am exceeding my own expectations. It's crazy. I have realized that if I lose just 3 more pounds, I'll officially no longer be overweight according to the BMI charts. I know, I know, the charts are total BS, but still that would be a nice thing. I'm not going to adjust my goal weight though, I really want to be where I'm sure I can maintain.

No, I would say it's not a coincidence that you quit taking all that stuff and your leg cramps ended. Maybe they just weren't right for you. Trial and error, but you figured out for yourself exactly what's right for your body! But I'd still go back and see Dr. Yummy again!

If you were here today, it would be feel like home! OMG, it's like 102F here with the humidex, like a hot, humid day in Louisianna. Wow, too much for me!
I should go sit outside and maybe sweat off a pound or two!!

You know I bet he's somewhere on Facebook. Somebody has had to have snapped a picture when he was out and about. All his patients, from 20 to whatever think the same thing. I know someone who saw him out in a club once. If I had an iPhone, I wud have taken a pic long time ago! I was desperately trying to find a reason to take my cousin there just to have a look! I'm so not even exaggerating! I asked him the other day how come he wasn't blonde anymore and he chuckled and said, "You know, I just don't have the time to keep looking after it." I thought he changed it back cause maybe some of his patients weren't taking him seriously. He really looked like a "hot little surfer dude" when I first met him.

As hot as it gets here, it doesn't usually get humid. The humidity would make me crazy. I love the heat, but a dry heat. If you find him on Facebook send me a link so I can look. LOL

Had a hungry day today. The only thing I added was some beef broth to try to soothe the afternoon tummy growl. That really didn't help either! I just ate 10oz of steak and I'm hoping this will stay with me until bed time.

Kimber, I always take a hungry day as a good sign that I'm going to have a nice loss! But if you're really hungry, it is ok to eat, you don't need to go hungry. Don't set yourself up for a binge.

Evening All;
Would have posted earlier but guess what? I wasn't home! Out helping the lady move into the new place. Huge house out in the country, I had to drag my DW away from the kitchen.
