It sounds like it has more variety, which may be easier for your summer with the kids! Excited to see how it works for you!

Exactly! I can have some brown rice with my grilled chicken and veggies, oatmeal for a quick breakfast (with protein), or my low-carb favorites. It's just nice knowing that I have the option to add some carbs if needed. I'll definitely let you know how it's going. Thanks!

WOW!!!!!

Bonnie, as you know, it's all about finding what works for you, so if dumping the vitamins works for you, then that's what you should do. When do you get the results of your lab work? It's ridiculous that these leg cramps are continuing.

You know, I'm just getting tired of trying this and that without results. I've heard so many "cures" and I'm just resolved to let them happen!! I'm almost getting used to them. Get to go see Dr. Yummy on July 3rd and I would be very surprised if he found anything even marginally low!! Funny thing is, my scale came to a screaching halt when I went on that Garcinia Cambogia back in January so is this just more proof that anything good for me works against me!!!! See what I mean????Just bizarre!

LOL Totally understand Bonny! I think we've both learned through this that are no cookie cutter answers. Every single person is SO very different that we've each got to find what works for us individually.

Gracie514 - Souds like we are eating the same excpt I do not have a name for my diet. I call it...... food.

Yes it is true getting lost on a hike can be an adventure but it also could be DEATH! just saying. Be careful.

I am off! I get 2 days all by myself followed by 2 days normal weekend!. Might watch a movie, might just sit around and pick my nose. The options are endless.

I will be doing aqua Pilates tonight. Unless my normal instructor is not there again. I will have my weight lifting clothes just in case. Not going through a second week of what happened last week.

I'm still here! It has been CRAZY since school let out. I'm hoping things settle down after this weekend. I haven't even had a chance to read all of the posts yet. I'm starting to get back into my workout routine so I'm not weighing just yet. We've been trying to hit the pool on the days when we have time and its nice outside. I just need to get back into a pattern. I promise to get reading and catch up with everyone. I miss the chatter!

MtherGoos, Wow! I love your avatar! Looking good!

It was working wonderfully before my stress peaked so I'm not ready to tweak my menu yet. I've just got to figure out how to chill! Calgon maybe?! I'm trying to convince hubby that we need a hot tub

Badda, good to hear the horn is being used. Drum Corp is a little too intense for me! I play jazz and salsa mostly, with the occasional classical or mariachi gig. I'm a punk rocker at heart though DQ!
Been sitting around the house watching bad Disney channel shows due to DD's wicked swimmer's ear she picked up. From the looks of it it's nothing anyone would wish on an enemy.
Hoping to get out and about tomorrow. At least I can convince her to let me watch some World Cup.
Happy hump day.

Kimber - sorry you are experiencing so much stress. Have you tried taking a walk? That always calms me down and helps me sleep. My homeopath swears on a B Complex to help with stress and anxiety. I don't take it every day but if I'm feeling anxious I'll take it and it definitely helps. I hope you can get so w relief!

Freddy - I have 2 DDs and I think I've seen every show at least ten times on the Disney Channel! Good Luck Charlie and Jessie are on constantly. Hope your daughter feels better. My hubby got that on vacation and he was miserable. The MedExpress gave him drops that helped.

Bulldogmom - I work from home so having all 3 here during the day is chaos! My 2 daughters are in Day Camp and DS has football 3 times a week. I'm trying to keep them busy instead of playing on iPads or watching TV. My youngest one would watch tv all day if we let her.

Hello all!

Bonny - I'm so sorry you can't get any relief from those cramps! I hope you find something soon!

Today was the first day that I stayed 100% on plan in quite a few days. No cream in my coffee, no nuts as a snack, no extras! It's time for me to get serious because the July challenge is right around the corner!

Just finished a late dinner of hamburger patties topped with bacon and fried eggs.

We're super busy at work and a bigwig is in town visiting so the boss has us stay off the internet and appear to work even harder than we already do. I never realize how much I surf online during work hours until I can't do it! And yes, it is very possible to work hard and be online, remember, I work for a call center! There ARE gaps between calls!

Have a class reunion this weekend--casual dress, but I'm struggling to find anything to wear. All my 1X or 2X tops are hanging on me, but I can't fit into my old XL stuff yet (I'm REALLY "stacked"). Because I put on a lot of this weight in the last 2 years, I put off buying clothes, thinking I'd lose and be back into my old clothes. So there's not much there to look through. May have to bite the bullet and go to Dress Barn where they have 0X's. On a good note, I bought 2 pair of 18X capri's for the summer, but by the time summer was here, they were getting loose. So I returned one today and got a 16X. Can't WAIT until I'm out of the women's section!!!

I have gone up and down the same two pounds for a week now and decided to up my walking. I would like to be able to hike again. The last time, about two weeks ago, I did a five mile hike and, at the end, I thought I would die.

Gracie514 - OK Deal but if I am going to do this I need to do it right. I dont have a nice dress or matching blouse. I need to go shopping. Hopefully I can find something that wont make my arse look fat.

Fatfreddy - I swam for 4 years dived for 2 of them plus SCUBA and yet to have swimmers ear. Hopefully she clears it up. Ever thought of conning it?

Good morning everyone,

Well, I've lost two of the three pounds I put on last week. Two and half more to go to hit my June goal.

A couple days ago there was a discussion about selling stuff on eBay. I do this as well. I buy used Justice clothing for girls from Goodwill. Justice is my daughter's favorite store and the stuff really sells well on eBay. As one example, I bought a pair of Justice cargo capri pants for $1.99 and sold them for $18.00. I've been buying a bunch of clothes so I can put them up for sale in August for back to school. That's when it sells incredibly well. I've had one negative response, but that was way back when I started in the early 2000's. I've had a couple neutral feedbacks as well, but my feedback rating is 316, so I've definitely made up for those over the years. You just have to expect that there are a few grumpy people out there, but for the most part, eBay people are pretty good to work with.

Kimber - walking was really good for my stress and anxiety when my husband was unemployed for a long time. But I also prayed the whole time. Prayer walks can do wonders.

And we get a lot of Disney going on in this house too, but it's the younger stuff from Disney Jr. Yep, gets a little tiring!

Good Morning,

This is almost the end of the month. Since I just started to follow this link toward the end of June, I was wondering if you all will be doing another challenge for July? I would love to participate from the start and draw from your experiences.

Have a wonderful day!

Ronnie

Good morning! Weigh in day is tomorrow so we will see how THM is treating me. I am definitely enjoying more variety of the lower carb veggies and fruits. I'm going to give this a month or two before giving up. It's much easier for me in the summer when my kids are home all day and we go away every weekend.

Ellen ~ Nice loss!!! Maybe the half-n-half helped. Hey, whatever works!!!

Vanna ~ I have TONS of Justice clothes in size 6/6X - would it sell? My friend drops me off garbage bags full of Justice clothes that her daughter grows out of. They shop at the outlets and her daughter is quite spoiled My DD is now in a 7/8 so I'm wondering if I should sell the stuff I have or just donate it?

Ronnie ~ I believe there is a challenge every month. Glad you're here!

Better ~ Have fun at the reunion! I know KOHL's has a size 0X in it's ladies department. That might be the correct fit for you right now.

Lilac ~ Oh boy, staying off the net during work hours Hope your big boss doesn't stay too long Your menu looks perfect!

Kimber ~ How are you feeling today? Hopefully you are stress free. That dang cortisol is NOT good for weight loss

hi everyone!!
grah! i didn't weigh again today because I was too busy loading the van for its trip to Maine! I packed almost of my painting supplies (encaustic, acrylic and watercolor) because I haven't been painting enough at home and I'm either going to use it all up in Maine or throw it away!!! I am teaching some classes in Maine, and I have a few paintings in a gallery there, too. I'll be there in a week and three days!

My ex bf and i are separated but living in the same house -- we are still friends and bandmates and we have gigs in Maine this summer. He's driving the van, dog and parrot to Maine over two days.

freddy - do you play a horn?
i am SO HUNGRY. I spent last night packing and really forgot to eat anything, and -- nothing this morning. There is a new place that opened a few blocks away that serves breakfast all day- i think I'll toddle over there!

I'm very chattycathy today!

Good morning, everyone!

9 - 196.5 (started low carb)
17 - 194.0
19 - 192.0
20 - 192.0
21 - 190.5
22 - 191.5
23 - 190.5
24 - 190.5
25 - 190.5
26 - 190.5

One more day like that and I’ll turn my “low carb” diet into a “low low carb” diet. Been around 30 carbs a day... wasn’t counting that carefully, but not cheating either. Success makes one lazy that way, I guess.
