Nikki what a whoosh!
I am so proud of everyone for losing and maintaining! I will say this is my favorite WOE but it still is a difficult thing to do when life comes at you from all directions. Forgive me for not doing all individual greetings but we have grown larger as we are shrinking! I love to read all posts and know that I, as well as a lot of others are lurking and learning!

Leanne, that was funny we have grown larger as we are shrinking lol, is that one of those oxymorons or whatever they are called lol.
I love seeing everyone's scale moving, but I would drive everyone mad saying congrats all the time, but I keep having the urge as everyone is doing incredible lol.

Beautiful hot weather here today....my talkative workmen have gone whoop whoop after I drowned them in tea.
So off to town and then to play with seedlings, hope everyone's day is brilliant.

Hi everyone! Stayed on plan yesterday so all is good. My rings are a bit tight though this morning and the only thing I did was take 2 doses of Dayquil capsules. It said no sugar or carbs but it has me wondering My nose was so congested and I had a headache. The pollen here is crazy I'm going to try and not take it today and hope the bloat goes away tomorrow.

Yesterday I had coffee/hwc/splenda for breakfast, 6 pcs of bacon and one cheesestick for lunch, 6 small 1/2 wings, 2 slices bacon for dinner. I did have another piece of cheese in between lunch and dinner. I'm out of oopsies and need to get to the grocery store for supplies. Now my DH is on board and wants to do Atkins. It's nice but then he'll eat all my food I'm going to have to start hiding stuff in the garage fridge

Going back to read everything!!! This thread is moving quick

What is 72'? Its the original Atkins plan. You should be able to find it on this board when you first log in. It works the best in my opinion.

Next week I just might have someone film me trying to get down the stairs of the gym after my leg workout and 30 minute run. I think baby deer walk better when dropped out of its mama. I could take the elevator but I think your allowed to punch people that take the elevator at a gym.

Hi Everyone! Just time for a quick note, but I was down another whole pound today!!! 154.4!! You know, I weighed MORE than my BF for so long, and I was so ashamed of that, and as I lost weight, he did too, so I really really wanted to weigh less than him, and now I'm almost 50 pounds less than him! Such a great feeling, and only 4 pounds to goal!

omg I've been outta touch but finally caught up with the posts. Hi to all the newbies. I'm still holding strong up and down the same dang 4 pounds. So over it, but it's my fault. I'm losing will power. Today I finally made my 3 eggs, went to the food truck festival downtown, got my protein style gourmet burger and gave into splitting tater tots with chili and cheese on them with my boss. So far, I haven't had the burger yet. I'm just not hungry. Did the right thing by getting back on track with the eggs, and that's helping me from being hungry. So it's 2:00 and i'll probably eat in about an hour so I can be held over during dance class tonight with the kids.

Ordering chicken wings tonight from the new chicken place that opened up. Don't wanna cook dinner, and don't want to be tempted by all the carby foods in my fridge. - I totally went off the wagon.

Congrats MtherGoos

WTG on the 4 lbs from goal
Be warned that more flirting is on the horizon
Not much to report; have to knuckle down more. Thought my eating was clean but had a wrap at lunch & now taco shells for supper
Humbug. On the plus side, I did have 4 HBE for breakfast
Off to the gym after supper; hopefully the scale doesn't scream when I step on

PaleoGuy, have you tried using the cheese shells for tacos? Tacos are the one thing my BF has missed the most, he loves them. So I started putting provolone cheese on parchment paper, and baking them until they start to turn brown, then I pull them out of the over and from them into taco shell shapes. Once they cool, they get crispier, like a taco shell, and fill it with all the taco filling stuff ~ ground beef, cheese, lettuce, tapatio, and sour cream. He LOVES them. That's become his favorite Saturday night meal and he eats 12 of them every Saturday night! LOL He says that they don't taste like a cheese shell at all, that it's pretty much like a regular taco shell.
Thank you for the congrats!

Cheese Shell Tacos

MtherGoos:
I'll have to give those a try; my DW was making cheese 'crackers' in the microwave so I'm sure they must be similiar.
Ok, off to the gym..................

Yes, I think they come out pretty similar, but using the provolone he says that they don't have any cheese flavor really, which is why he likes them as the shells. I make the cheese crackers for him in the microwave too. Have fun at the gym!

Well hellooooo there strangers! It's taken me all day to read a page here and there and catch up 5 pages from April and 7 for May! I went to Saginaw for my son's team banquet a weekend ago and then Montreal last weekend for a Spring tournament with my daughter from Thursday to Sunday and just didn't have time to check in. My son won MVP for his team, and my daughter's team made it all the way to finals so lots of good things for them. I finished up April at 128, not the 125 I had hoped for. But 4 days in Montreal in a hotel and eating out and I came home at 128. I had to get on the scale twice to make sure, so I know how you feel MotherGoose! Congrats on your amazing progress.

Welcome to all the new people who are now well on their way to losing weight with this WOE.

I see Luvlieliz was MIA too so I don't feel so bad.

James, I laughed out loud at the image of you wobbling down the stairs after your workouts, and congrats on the one year adoption anniversary. You and your wife are angels.

Bulldog Mum and Bonny Jean I enjoyed reading all your posts.
DQ, I'm not a Sushi fan but your menu sounded fabulous. And filler is worth every penny
Sandy -- thanks for missing me xoxoxo I want to know more about those peels....
Cdn Paleo Guy - are you finally enjoying the fact that it's not snowing anymore here in Ontario? we might actually get Spring one of these days!
Princess Mommy, you know that 20 lb will be gone soon. The fact you quit smoking means you are so much healthier, so I'd trade that for the little bit of extra weight anytime.
I know I've missed a bunch of you, and I apologize, just wanted to say hi and that I'm back.

My goal for May is to hit that 125 and hopefully even less.

Oh, and how do I make Cheezits in the microwave, Mother Goose I know you mentioned in it April as I was headed off to the US trying to resist them?

And where's Berta?????

Welcome Back HockeyMum!!! We missed you.

Berta is posting on a different thread now I think.

The cheezits are super easy. Take one piece of deluxe American cheese (DON"T use those individually wrapped processed slices) and break it into 16 equal pieces. Put them on parchment paper and microwave for 1 minute. That's it. YUM!

we need a like button on here Reading everyones posts. started 72 this morning and trying to hang in there. Almost grabbed a couple turkey sausages from the freezer and then reminded myself I was doing 72. so no turkey sausage for a while. I did make some ground beef though. It was good. Going to have some egg salad later.

You all are such inspirations ... wow. some of your losses .. I dream of those.

Good morning everyone! Yesterday was a horrible day, not food-wise, just in general. Everything that could go wrong, did go wrong. But, I pulled through (LOL) and today is a better day right from the start (even though we lost power first thing and I couldn't get my daily dose of early morning motivation from the amazing folks here at LCF). So, I still haven't seen the upswing...as much as I hope it doesn't come, I just know it will, it's been the pattern since the start. Anywho:

May 1 - 207.2
May 2 - 206.6
May 3 - 206.2
May 4 - 206.0
May 5 - 204.8
May 6 - 204.4
May 7 - 204.0

Keep on keepin on everyone! Happy hump day!!
