Hey Sandy: Sounds like a lovely evening at home!!
Gardening like lunatics as usual.
Had to trim a cedar back so bad it now looks like a topiary!!
I think tonight we'll hit the theata for a comedy and then a late supper at home.
Oooo, just forget I gotta make her some spaghetti for supper..... groan and mine is so easy. Oh well!

Wow, that pic is scary. Maybe should take a new one cause last year we banged heads in the garden and
my tiara got broke!!!

I just realized I forgot my update. Kind of felt skinnier tonight. I ate on target Tuesday though today. If I went "bad" anywhere I had more nuts than I should have on Wednesday. Turns out Costco really knows how to make a good nut assortment. I hope I am pleased at tomorrows weigh in.

I was able to get through the second Spin class pretty good. The instructor said my form is improving. Yea Me!

I think I may actually be able to get some sun and enjoy the outdoor pools this weekend. Supposed to be warm and no rain.

Happy weekend everyone!

Sorry been mia, after the scale hit 78.7kg Thursday morning, I hit the pasta, hard. Three kilos in a week. So I let myself have a big pity party for two days - capeletti, tortilini, rice... Don't know why I thought that would make things better? Anyway, not going to weigh for a little bit as need to stop letting things like that trigger a binge.

Back on track today, scrambled eggs with chorizo and later, southwestern taco soup. Then, will do a fat fast for a few days.

Got up to bright sun this morning, so quickly threw the sheets in the wash and got into my bikini for a spot of vitamin d making - and guess what? Its gone!!! Seriously, nothing but cloud. Again.

Bulldog, that doc is a complete idiot. I hope you didn't have to pay for that visit. If it is possible, definitely look into a naturopath as someone suggested. They are so thorough. Yes, pcos can cause hair loss but generally it happens over a long time, your sounds like something has changed. Youll need loads more hormone tests plus the vitamins and ferritin to see where the issue lies. Best of luck this week with the gyn - don't let her fob you off!

Great garden Bonny!

Wow, 8lbs in a month is amazing MotherG - exercise might not give you instant losses on the scales but it will change your shape dead quick.

Hope you have some sun Sandy - and if so, send some over this way!

Badda, I have to agree with you on spin teachers - a time and a place! My gym as a "Shouty John" and I stopped going because he yelled and screamed so much, there was no point playing music! I do my own spin now. How's the weight training going? The Phinney book on lc and performance training is very good if you want info on keto and weights.

DQ, how amazing are you! Country and punk - what's next? Morris dancing...

Tcircle, what about an addiction to dancing? Bacon?

Sorry for the others I've missed, rushing outside to grab all my washing since its started to pee it down now...

Morning All

Sorry to hear of all the cloudy days for some. I couldn't function in that. Luckily, I've been blessed with warmth and sunshine this holiday and I'm grateful for that. All yard work done except the sidewalk. Now time for fun but running out of ideas how to entertain cuz??? Any ideas you guys?? We'll do mini-golf, maybe trampoline thing and was thinking about going horseback riding if I can find a stable close to home but other than that, I'm drawing a blank???

Very disappointed to be ending May on a high note, scale wise! No medical, no hormone, no PMS.. nothing. Been 100% on plan, no cheats. Thurs had 5 guys burger and t-bone on the bbq then yesterday had scrambled eggs and chicken for supper. I did accidently pick up Diet Coke instead of Caffeine Free Diet Coke but I know that has nothing to do with it but still very confused as to WHY???

-------------------------------------------------------------
May 1 .....170.7
May 7......168.9
May 14....169.2
May 21....166.3
May 28....164.8

May 30....163.9

31 May - Wow!!

Morning Folks & Afternoon to our UK friends
Sandy1 & Tiggy: doesn't it always rain in the UK? Not to rub it in but we have sun here. After another coffee, it's out the door with Gunner to investigate the overnight activities of the neighbourhood.
Baddabing: my DW had a kettlebell instructor of similiar mind to your Hulk Hogan; if you couldn't keep his pace, all he wanted was that you keep moving.
Never made it to the gym last night; happy hour got in the way
Tcircle: PrincessMommy quit smoking; perhaps she has some advice/recommendations for you?
Bonny-Jean: I should snap a pic of the back yard for you to help redesign.
MtherGoos: There's a routine at some of the gyms called Body Pump that might interest you? Whatever you do; stay away from that crazy faceb@@k challenges. There just a prescription for injuries IMHO
Gracie514: you off camping somewhere again?
Alright, have a great day folks.

Thanks Tiggy. My hair started thinning sometime around August. Its just lately that the other symptoms have gotten worse or started showing up. After my hysterectomy in May, I was losing 10-12 lbs a month and had lots of energy. My thinking is that for a few months after surgery, my ovaries were in "sleep mode" and when they finally woke up, they went into overdrive. The gyn I'm seeing is wonderful. If she can't help me though, I'll be heading to an endocrinologist next.

I ended up a stomach virus yesterday. And even with all of that, I couldn't lose but 1 lb of the 6 that I gained this week. Rather unfair. Tomorrow is my paddle boarding lesson. I'm more nervous about finding parking down at the oceanfront. They have a patriotic festival and an air show this weekend. I don't know what my friend was thinking when she chose Sunday for our class. It isn't supposed to be that warm either, only in the 70s.

Mthergoos, Sandy, Tiggy, Bonny-Jean, Gracie, and everybody.....Thank you so much for the kind words and support. I feel so down lately and that is unlike me. Thursday is my appointment and it can't come soon enough. My oldest has 2 more weeks of school and then a week of Bible school. I think after that, we're taking off for some fun.

Good Morning! Well the Girl Scout lock-in went well, our troop got some compliments on our tee shirts that we decorated for the event. But I did eat a piece of pizza and a diet coke. An hour later I was SO sick. Stomach cramps and feeling so gross and sick. Obviously I regretted that and wished I would have stuck on plan. I did not eat anything the rest of the night. I'm back on plan today. I'm not going to let it get me down. Jumping right back into things. That's how I'm going to have to eventually live right? Every once in awhile we will eat something off our WOE, but that 1 piece isn't going to get in my head and change my mind. I feel so good about it.
Except I still feel physically ill today. ugh. I hope it gets out of my system quickly! Off to drink lots of water!
As for the smoking, the cravings aren't there all the time. I do not crave them anymore, but every so often I do. I think that lasts for a long time.
I hope everyone has a great weekend, we have a lot of family time to squeeze into two days

Morning all what a beautiful day! I already got a head start on my laundry last night so I should blaze through it today, dishes are almost done, just a few little house keeping things and I am good. So far the pool looks like it might be a reality it 55 now, supposed to climb to 79 (scorcher). I was able to jump on the scale this morning and was not happy till I saw last weeks and realized I did lose more than I thought. I found that the body fat thing was not reliable. The range was 7% which is insane so I think its best not to officially post it.

5/10 – 173.6 @ 24.8%
5/17 – 175.6 @ 24.8%
5/24 – 172.6 @ 23.2%
5/31 – 171.0 @ 21.9-23.2%?

I did choose not to go to a class today, my body is trashed and I think rest will be more beneficial at this point and will tackle it again on Monday.

Tiggy – I would like that info. The stuff online is spotty at best and I always like to learn more.

Bonny-Jean – Skydiving

BulldogMom – When things like that are going down I take a cab. Yeah it cost more but man it worth the not having to deal with the hassle.

That is 13 pounds down for the month of May!! WooHoo!!!

The Dr added Meloxicam to my mix of Tramadol and Xanaflex and my neck feels fantastic now I am really groggy tho. I'm hoping to take it easy today and tomorrow and be back to myself Monday.

Bonny - you may be up but you still have a 6 pound loss this month!

Sandy - I really don't care for clothes shopping either but I am hoping that my attitude will change when I'm able to buy smaller (cuter) clothes. I've always wondered WHY can't they make any cute clothes for the larger sizes?! Has never made any sense to me.

Looking forward to the June Challenge! Hope everybody has a good weekend. It is going to storm all weekend here, but I'm stuck in my recliner anyways and I love a good storm now and again!

Hi everyone! Did I mention....... BELOW GOAL! Picking my son up in Vegas in the morning and going ziplining tomorrow night, so I may be MIA for the first day of our new challenge, but count me in!

James, that's what I was afraid of with the body fat percentage thing. I'd like to go have it done accurately, but have no idea where to go. You're rocking it though and still losing!!

Bonny, I agree with James... go skydiving! Definitely try out that trampoline place! You won't believe what a great work out it is! And don't you dare let that little blip on the scale upset you. I wouldn't even count it! You'll be right back down in no time, our bodies just get weird!

Tiggy, you're definitely right! I feel like I can already see differences in my body and I'm loving it.

Sandy, The classes that I'm taking are yoga classes, but on a surfboard thing that you have to try and balance on in addition to doing the yoga. It's so much fun! And I love the instructor. She says that what she's teaching us isn't traditional yoga, it's more a free flow yoga. Whatever it is, it totally suits me. And on the nights that I don't go to her classes I just walk on my treadmill for an hour. I just like feeling stronger and healthier.

tcircle, back on track today and you're good to go! The important thing is not to let one off plan meal turn into a day or a week or a month of binges. You've got this!

BullDogMom, keeping you in my prayers! Let us know what the Dr. says! I had my hysterectomy in July and the Dr and I debated the merits of keeping my ovaries or having him take them out. I went ahead and had them removed too, but I'm still not sure it was the right decision. I know you kept yours and now they may be giving you trouble. I think it's one of those things where there just isn't any right answer. Hopefully though your Dr will figure out what is causing you troubles.

PaleoGuy, LOL! I have printed out a couple of those Facebook Challenge things, but I've never done any of them! Have you been Geocaching lately or is it getting too hot?

DQ, You are up to something exciting!! Have a great weekend!

Kimber, Awesome month!! Way to go!!!

Bonny, I actually looked into the indoor skydiving that they offer in Vegas, since we'll be there anyway. But it starts at $120 per person. I'd rather just wait and spend the money on real skydiving!

Bonny-Jean - when I was a cop there was a skydiving outfit that came into town and as publicity they offered free skydives for various business including one for the police department. I jumped up at the chance but was quickly shot down by my then Sergeant who wanted to do it so he got it by pulling rank. The crappy part was that he was a paratrooper in the army and had 100's of jumps under his belt. Still think he is something that will get my post banned. Now I just dont have the drive for it or bungee jumping. I took both off my bucket list. I guarantee that either one does not compare to some of the cliff diving I was able to do in Okinawa.

I just gave you a few more ideas. I will continue, laser tag, paint ball guns, a mud run, throwing ketchup packets on a busy road and watching them explode when cars drove over them (almost got killed that day), sipping a adult beverage by the pool in almost 80 degree weather. I can go on and on.

If you do the indoor skydiving you will definitely find out how much loose skin you have! Just saying.

Ok James, you just talked me out of the indoor skydiving. I need no reminders of how bad my loose skin is!

Paintball is fun....but PAINFUL! I used to go every weekend with my son and ended up with some seriously painful bruising.

Hmm, some group shows up outta nowhere and offers to throw cops out of a plane???? As a cop, I'd have thought you might be a little leary of that "offer"!!

Great ideas, although most are painful but thank you!!

MG - I adjusted my goal to 149 because that is the high end of the BMI charts for my height of 5'5". I'm pretty sure tho that I will be happier at about 140 but I'm still keeping my goal for 149 because that is the number I will officially be considered normal weight range!
