Well I got out of the gym and was starving. I knew I had not real food at home and was planning on stopping at some fast food joint but I didn’t. Instead I bought a bag O frozen veggies, a roasted chicken, some brown rice, and soy sauce and shortly after I had 4 meals ready to go.

My Pilates instructor quilted me into going to her spin class tomorrow so it looks like I will be doing that 2 days in a row. I’ll just count her class as the cardio and do my weights after.

Well that’s all for now. TTFN

vessel of prayer – I did not know TAB was still made. I would like to try one to see what all the fuss was back in the 80’s. Maybe Ill get some rock band hair to wear when I try it!

princessmommy – Sorry about your dad. Hopefully he can get well enough for surgery. It sucks when the house of cards topple like that. Maybe you should se if the dentist might slip you a little gas so you can relax for a few minutes.

Gracie514 – Congrats to your son. Lettering so early is saying something about him.

DairyQueen – A gopro should be a home run. I would love one for my birthday. Granted it would mean I need to do extreme stuff but ya gatta do what you gatta do.

Mther – Yeah exercise!!!!

Two more days and a half a pound to go...... No matter what I am thrilled.

Went to the gym and met with a trainer and started on a full body weights work out. Today is just easy cardio as I am going back to support a friend. My plan is 3 days a week with the weights. I told the trainer I was in mid weight loss and wanted to keep the muscle I have, try to give support to my skin, and look fantastic by Christmas! Not too much to ask for right?

Needless to say I am a little sore this morning.

After calling around to many restaurants we finally found one with non breaded baked chicken wings. I had salt and vinegar, hot and garlic parm. I think I had about 15 plus wings everyone's celery, blue cheese dressing and 3 large diet Pepsi s but OMG they were so good. Everyone else had cocktails and keep asking when I will have one again. I just explain my weight loss is going so good I don't want to screw with what works. (Our thin waitress, who knows my friends, has been maintaining for 4 months after losing 30 lbs with low carb so she understood)

Just finished my coffee so now off to get cought up on some chores. Have a fantastic day!

YAY!! Two days of good drops! I'm so glad that I am weighing everyday and noting it here so that in the future, when I am not losing as well as I think I should, I will be able to see that eventually those losses will come!

I am 45 pounds down since New Years!! YIPPEE!!!! I'm out of the 4X tops and pants now!! So getting rid of all that this coming weekend because I am NOT going back there. I'm confident of this because finally I have realized (with the help of you guys) that as long as I continue to eat this way, I will be able to maintain my weight loss this time. If I never have another slice of bread or piece of cake in my lifetime....I am okay with that!! I no longer look at those items as food (for me). My body cannot deal with those types of foods and stay thin at the same time. I feel like the weight of the world has been lifted from my shoulders!! I feel liberated!!!

Off to work now on this beautiful, stormy day I love stormy days!!
Hope everybody has a good day!

Morning All

Mthergoos: Took cuz to Swiss Chalet here and ordered dark rotisserie chicken and plain back ribs. They were plain all right, no bbq sauce and absolutely no spices at all. Geez, I just didn't want the sauce!! Oh well, a little salt and pepper helped. Of course I read your post about needling the chicken with sugar AFTER I had supper!! Their nutrition fact sheet said all the chicken was 0 carbs??? The back ribs were 0 without the sauce and a 1/3 rack was 17 with!! Yikes!! No little cheats a week into holidays and haven't made a Pina Colada yet, if I even do??

Sandy: Enjoy your day with dd and ds! What have you girls got planned?

Shelly: How's your dad today?

Leanne, DQ, tcircle: Nice drops girls!! Kimber: You're doing so well. Yay!!!

CPG and Tiggy: The stalker thing! Hopefully she can't do the same thing. I won't be saying a word about the car at work. She comes to work after me so I know she's gonna say I didn't see your car in the lot and thought you weren't here... blah, blah, blah!! At least I know she won't copy my weight loss. At 60, she's very content being 285, wearing too small clothes and super short "skorts" to work!! Anybody ever see those nasty "casual Friday" pics or pics of the "Walmart people?" There you go!!

Well, not quite as heavy a work load as Tuesday cause spent some time getting car, insurance, lunch, shopping. Have to try to get about 30 plants in before our 91F hits today! Will probably be hiding in the house after lunchtime here. Heat stroke at 22 causes me great illness if I'm out for more than 15 mins at a time in that heat. Maybe we should try that trampoline place today. Have to find something indoors with a/c for sure!!
I'm wishing our UK friends some drier, sunny days very soon!!!
Have a great day y'all!!

Hi everyone, I thought I would be able to catch up and comment on everyone but that is simply going to be impossible this week...so, congrats to everyone just for coming on here and making a positive change for your health! Also, I saw a really pretty car, a very good-looking duo, and a couple of WOO HOOs out there, that was about all I could take in! LOL I love being busy as it makes the time fly by until I go on vacation but dang I'd sure like to take a breath.

Baby boy is graduating next Thursday, then we leave on vacation the following Tuesday so the next two weeks look just as busy. I did learn yesterday that my direct boss is retiring, I'm an Executive Assistant without an Executive at this point. ACK! He and my Admin manager both came into my office yesterday and shut the door. GOOD GRIEF, am I fired or WHAT?!?! LOL Turns out they are assigning me to another executive but one would have thought I'd run a marathon with as high as my heartrate was when they came in and shut the door! LOL Change, while scary, is good, my boss really needs to retire to be with his partner who is quite ill, and I've been doing the same thing for 13 years, time for a change.

Anyway, rambling when I don't really have the time. LOL

Good Morning! I'm going to get busy early today, got lots to do. My oldest step dd usually comes to eat dinner and spend time with us on Thursdays. She's 19 and living on her own. She has to work tonight and said she would come for dinner tomorrow. Her favorite meal is Chicken Parmeasen. I'm just going to make mine with no bread crumbs and bake it.

I'm going to start working out more. Normally the only exercise I get is taking my 2 yr old for a stroller walk, which I walk him an hour so it's about a mile and a half, a couple days a week....other than that I clean a two story 4 bd rm 2 bath house....and that's about it. So starting today I want to make a goal to do some exercise each day. Recently I discovered exercise videos on you tube, on my kids playstation game system.

And no nuts or berries for me for another week, or anything else for that matter, I'm in induction, not phase 2.

Morning everyone!!! Congrats to everyone who is doing so well, and to those whoare stuck (as i've been) but have kept on keeping on! Princessmommy, it's good that your dad is home but it's also smart to delay surgey until infection is gone.

I took my beau to a wonderful restaurant last night called the iron gate...very romantic. We had an interesting charcuterie board with pesto, some cured meats like a carpaccio, fennel sausage, salami, pickled cauliflower, roasted olives, pate. The. I had scallops and he had sausage, and we split a really nice bottle of barolo. Mwah mwah mwah..deelish. He loved the gopro too, so it was a pretty successful evening.

Anyway, looks like it's going to rain all day!

OMG everyone is doing so good! Congratulations

This morning was my DD Erin's preschool graduation. It was absolutely adorable! They all did the Pledge of Allegiance and then sang a cute bumblebee song. Then they were called up individually for their diplomas. They asked each one what they wanted to be when they grew up. Erin said a veterinarian One little boy said Spiderman I'm attaching a few pics - and yes it was very HUMID here today so my hair is OUT OF CONTROL

On the diet end, I've been doing good. Staying around induction levels. I've been toying around with adding hhcg along with induction levels just because it curbs my hunger so well. I did exercise yesterday - walked for 50 minutes. But today I'm starving! I think it might have something to do with it. I can usually go until about 12:30 without hunger pangs. Oh well, I still want to keep up exercising because I slept like a log last night.

gracie - a veterinarian! That's what I should have been! adorable photos!
bonny i missed something re: your cars. What did you buy and what did you get rid of?
leanne great job on your weight ! When i get wings, i almost always tear the skin off of it -- that way I'm forced to 1. wait until they're cool enough to peel 2. focus more on talking and being with friends, etc. while still having something to eat in front of me.
It doesn't matter if they are breaded - that coating comes off pretty easily.
Anyway, just one of my little socialization tricks. It takes me as long to eat four wings as for my companions to eat a regular meal. And it fills me up.
Mthrgoos size 3/4 FANTASTIC! how tall are you?

Congrats to your boy, proud Mama!! Tell me about cost.... mine had to have a "football" high school leather jacket no less as his team won Provincial champs his Grade 12 year. Then he wanted a HS football ring and the gold one of course. Went to pick up rings and didn't I find out MY SON was the ONLY one who ordered GOLD!!!! I feel your pain but these costs will be gone soon and then so are our babies!!

Thanks Bonny-Jean!!! I don't even want to know what the GOLD ring cost you How exciting though to win his senior year! What position did he play? My DS has been playing since he turned 7 - it's his favorite sport. He is the QB on offense and plays safety on defense. I hate when he plays defense because I'm afraid he's going to get hurt. I guess I need to just get used to it!I found a couple pics - the first one is his first year (with my 2 sisters) and the second is from this year (freshman in high school). Where did the time go???

Morning, er afternoon all. I did something odd to my knee last night so I guess I need to watch it carefully. Who knew a pool could be so detrimental to one’s health! I think I just popped it weird. Hopefully it will not affect tonight s spin class.
Last Friday we had a ceremony honoring veterans in our facility. They expanded it to staff as well so I ended up being in a ceremony I had not planned on being in. The Army Captain actually was awesome and had a way of showing gratitude that kind of got me to the core. I found out pics were taken so I will post it here. It might look like I am ignoring him but actually he was whispering something in my ear that I will choose to keep private.

Everyone have a great day. Hopefully your weather is as nice as ours is. Sunny and 80 = perfect.

Sandy1 – Yes so far this is the best phone I have ever owned, has not slowed down, does everthing I want it to. The only issue I have really is the fault of an app program not the phone but that’s just cause I am picky. And it’s an app most people don’t even know exists much less uses so….

Leanne21071 – I think your goals are good. There is an Amino Acid supplement you may want to consider for maintaining muscle during weight loss. I’ll give you more info if you’re interested. It is not really cheap though. I’ll be curious to see what you think of weight lifting on a Keto diet.

Kimbersh47 – Good for you. I actually could get away with the bread and cake thing I think but still when we go out I don’t partake. I really don’t feel either are worth it. If I am going to go that route it has to be something I really like and even then I say no most times.

candypickletoes – I know what it feels like. My job is basically the right hand of one of 2 top positions in my facility. When she told me she was going to the other position and hers was going to be replaced I was VERY concerned. Especially since I said originally I would stay as long as she did but did not consider her changing positions. I have had a lot of one on one time with the new person and turns out she rocks too so I shall hang around.

princessmommy – I am shocked the VA is even playing around after the last few weeks they have gone through. If something was to happen to him and they could be blamed it would be a media circus for them.

Gracie514 – Understand this jacket your going to buy is going to be confiscated by the first girl that grabs his attention!

Sorry about being MIA. Tuesday went from bad to worse and I just needed time to re-group. I saw my family dr and have decided that he's worthless in helping me at this point. He can't see the big picture of what is going on and tried to tell me that my bloating is due to gas and I should avoid certain foods (pineapple juice, wheat products, onions,.....things I don't eat). He recommended that I take gas-x. @@ I keep telling him that I have PCOS and all of my symptoms are signs that its getting worse. I probably just need to be on bcp and metformin. But in the back of my mind I'm thinking about the cancer scare last year and how everything but the ovaries was removed. My gyn is getting me in next Thursday so I'll let her handle it. In the meantime, my weight has gone up 6 lbs. My dr says it isn't water weight because I don't have edema. Its a good thing I'm fairly healthy. I have no faith in him now whatsoever.

Gracie, LOVE all the pics! You have a beautiful family!!

DQ, I'm only 5'3". I know, I'm still overweight for my height, so I don't know why I'm into smaller sizes. Vanity sizing has a lot to do with it I'm sure. I think all the loose skin plays into it. I'm probably carrying an easy 20 pounds or more of extra skin around that can be squished into clothes and you can't see it any more. The birthday night out sounds wonderful! And you are SO CLOSE to being back in the 130's!

Bonny, Don't worry! LOL Not all rotisserie chicken has sugar in it, just some of them do so I'm always to even try it. If they posted the nutritional info and it said 0 carbs, then I'm sure it was fine, I'm just paranoid. Sounds like you had a very nice dinner!

I didn't get a chance to talk to everyone today, but I hope you're all having a wonderful day!

Nice pics. Cool kid you got there! Dustin played RB in 11, then broke his collar bone on the field and grade 12 he was Center, I think? He was on the Tigers (see pics LOL) Bad pic of my kid, he kinda looks buck tooth but he's not! LOL

Had a good lunch, cheeseburger w/mayonnaise, bacon and sauteed mushrooms, wrapped in big lettuce leaf. But then I tried to eat a salad w/ranch, cheese & a boiled egg. The egg is making me sick.... I guess I need to take a break from boiled eggs.

tcircle, maybe it's just too much food. I'm always surprised at how little it takes to fill me up these days!

Bulldogmom ~ I actually had issues with my doctor too. He is around my age (42) and he is a bodybuilder. He would never even listen to what I was saying. I finally made an appointment with a homeopath and I loved her. She listened to everything I said and then did biofeedback and muscle testing. She gave me all of the supplements my body tested lacking. I highly recommend everyone visit a good homeopath instead of a doctor who only wants to prescribe you drugs. Unfortunately insurance does not cover it so we had to pay out of pocket.

MotherGoos ~ Thanks for the compliments on my family! I exercised both yesterday and today I walked both days for 50+ minutes. But now I have a blister on my foot

TCircle ~ Your lunch is making me hungry

Bulldogmom - I am so, so, sorry and share you frustration.. I couldn't even get into the Dr. this week because she was closed.. More symptoms for me in my never ending crusade of not getting diagnosed with anything, so back to the drawing board.
(whenever I can even get in to see her)
I hope your Gyn will be more helpful.. Sure sucks when you seem to be the only person concerned about your health.
