Shelly, Happy 2 year Anniversary!!! That's a major accomplishment to be proud of! Its looking like it'll take me 2 yrs to reach my goal too. But its okay, we're in this for the long haul right?!

Sheila, I missed your post but reading Gracie's response, I see you had a question about magnesium. I recently read that magnesium, calcium and some other nutrient are closely related. If you have too much of one, you can have a deficiency in another. There has to be a balance. Not a balance like you have to take 500 mg of each a day but more along the lines of there has to be a ratio (as I understood it). I wish I could remember where I read this. I'll have to look around and try to find it.

Bulldogmom ~ The magnesium I take is a Magnesium/Calcium combo. I think it also has D3 in it. I know the magnesium is 400 mg per 2 capsules but I'll have to check the calcium. The homeopath told me to take 4 capsules about 30 minutes before bed. I muscle tested as very low on magnesium but I was on Nexium at the time which totally depletes magnesium/calcium. I usually only take 2-3 now. HTH

ah, I think my problem is I wasn't completing my menu, I did cook my eggs in butter (actual butter). I do have coconut oil, however, I haven't ever cooked with it...just used it for other things, dry skin, sores, etc... does it make your eggs taste like coconut?

I did have a tiny set back that I knew wasn't a great choice..but not the worst. I left home without eating, it was not planned on leaving so soon but something came up. I ended up grabbing a cheese stick and a packet of almonds at the gas station. SO I didn't eat great for breakfast...

but right now I'm making something I can't wait to eat, a cheeseburger with bacon and mayo, wrapped in a lettuce leaf. I'll probably eat two, I'm so hungry. I know that is a huge no-no. (hunger)

Burger sounds great but give yourself a couple minutes before you attack the other one cause you might not even need it and bonus you won't have to cook the next meal cause you already did!!

Hi all, worn out. Long day at work and I am ready for sleepy time.

candypickletoes – I understand what you are saying as far as the gym goes but look at it this way.
1. Everyone starts somewhere
2. If I had a question I would ask the supper huge guy, he obviously knows something.
3. They are all huge meaning they use the ridiculously heavy weights leaving rows and rows of the weights I need all to myself.

The classes would be another thing. I used to be anti social bit honestly I really enjoy the Pilates and spin class I do now and am looking to get a few others in my weekly schedule.
I personally don’t think 200 is really that big but I do know the bigger people do a lot of the pool classes which is a good start.

Morning All

Regardless of when I go to bed, something is waking me just before 5 everyday??? I believe it's the early morning paper delivery guy. After several years of receiving it every day, I had to cancel it because this new guy would chuck it at my front door from the sidewalk. My dogs would go crazy and start barking. Now I think my neighbor is getting the paper and I don't know if this paper guy is slamming his car doors or what, but I think that's what's waking me an hour early every day!!! Sucks to be a light sleeper. Ugh.

Well, got my hair did yesterday and holy macaroni, I'm blonde now!!! Be careful what you wish for, I guess. I'll drop a bad pic to soften the shock when I send you a holiday pic of me and cous!

On a VERY happy, high note this morning saw 165.8 on the scale. Sure didn't think I was gonna see that by the 22nd but it happened and although it's only a glass of water from 166, I'm gonna call it and embrace it!!!

CandyPickleToes ~ The Honi Honi is a lakefront bar/restaurant. It is a BLAST! We usually go on Saturdays because they have an outdoor band. Plus they have the best frozen drinks
