Each one tastes like a little flavored cheesecake. He'll sit down at night and eat 5 or 6 (or more!) of those for dessert for very little carbs. Super easy and so so so good!
Thanks for the support! No idea why I'm so hungry today

Those cream cheese bites sound right up my alley ~ quick and easy! What is his favorite jello flavor? I was thinking strawberry or raspberry

Cherry, strawberry and raspberry have all been big hits. He didn't like the black cherry because it turned the cream cheese kind of a gray color. BLEH! Everything else has been really great!

Awww! They're good looking pups! My sister's dog is a german shepherd. I teased her that she only got him so that she could get better satellite reception with those ears. He did finally grow into them.

Cudabear, LOVE your doggie!

Gracie, The easiest cheesecake recipe for me was actually the Philly Cream Cheese recipe for their no-bake cheesecake that's printed on their label. I just substituted splenda for the sugar. Easy and good!

Two more Gunner pictures. He has a thing for my youngest daughter. Its hard to believe that such a sweet guy would end up in rescue. The second picture was funny because those two were looking for the cat together.

OH ~ Almost forgot, but I wanted to mention this. I read an article this morning on this. For me, loose skin is DEFINITELY an issue, but I expect it to be. I was 300 pounds, I've dieted up and down my entire life, I just look at it as my price to pay for abusing my body so much and for so long. BUT, the article I read this morning, he says that for the most part, loose skin is a myth. He said that it's really loose bits of stubborn fat that the skin forms around. He says that if we get down to a low percentage of body fat, we finally get rid of the stubborn deposits of fat, and the skin firms up. I forget the percentage that he gave, I think for women it was something like 12-15%, or something like that. So, according to him, if we get our body fat percentage that low, the loose skin should mostly go away.

First of all, I truly can't imagine getting my body fat that low, but even if I did, I can't imagine that the loose skin would go away. I really can't. Any thoughts on this?????

The cream cheese balls sound delightful. I made some garlic boursin cheese which is great on mushrooms. I also dip my pork rinds in it.
My first day of 85 to 90% went well until they cooked chicken in the fryers at work. I stayed on plan but ate way to much. The idea of a fat fast is supposed to be high fat but small snacks or meals that total 1000 calories for the day. I went over that at dinner... today has been better. I just want to make sure all of my great but too many carbs from Sunday are gone.

And a whoosh would be great. lol

I thought loose skin was from tears in the different layers of the skin

I've just always figured my loose skin was from my skin stretching out to accommodate 300 pounds of fat, and now that the fat is going, and I'm 46 instead of 26, it doesn't have the elasticity it once did and just won't tighten back up. It's not pretty, but in clothes it doesn't look bad.

Hmm, I've heard "stretch marks" are from torn skin layers but not "loose" skin?? Usually skin is torn from rapid weight gain and the underlying layers tear as they can't keep up to the speed of some weight gain,
ie: pregnancy for instance or huge growth spurts in teens???

Interesting concept. I don't know what to think. I'm on a fb page where women share their transformation pics. This one lady dropped 151 lbs through diet and exercise and doesn't have much loose skin. Her after pic is her in a bikini so you can see her full body. She says she does have some but weight training has helped tremendously. So part of me thinks maybe that guy is right because her body fat is on the lower end now and she looks great. But at the same time, if my skin has been stretched out and I have the stretch marks, I don't see it snapping back into place.

I've been having trouble sleeping through the night for the past 6 months (even before I started LC). I don't take any vitamins. Anyone have any ideas as to what I can take to help me sleep through the night? I'm going through menopause -- not sure if that if a factor or not. My sleep Dr had me try Lunesta----felt like total crap on that for the 3 nights I took it. Not thinking I want to try any other drugs either. Are there any vitamins that would help with sleep?

Hope everyone has good losses or maintains today!

Here are my fids- For some reason I never call my dogs by their given names, they ALWAYS have nicknames and the only time I use their real names is when they are in trouble....I have no idea why. So anyway the husky is Cyber (I call him Tybes) and the little squirt Shichon (shih tzu/bichon mix) is Paisley (Puzzy).

Oh I love all these pics, I swear I am getting them all mixed up though.

Gracie, thank heavens your sister rescued that lovely shepherd, some people need shooting and don't deserve a dog, love your choc lab.
Candypickleetoes ahhh they are awesome, and the little one looks like a little teddy bear, to cute.

Kimber wish I could help with the sleeping thing, I heard valerian tea from the health shop is supposed to work, menopause is tough, so glad I am done with that stress, hope you can find something that works for you though.
