Good morning to everyone!!!

Shelly ~ Yorkies are so cute! My DD(11) has wanted a pug for so long but we haven't given in yet. Currently we have an 8 year old chocolate lab who is a lymphoma cancer survivor. He was diagnosed at age 5 and went through chemotherapy. They projected he would have about 12-18 months after that and he will now be 9 in August!!! Such a blessing

As for me, I am still sunburned! YIKES I was on plan yesterday - I made up a batch of chicken legs with seasonings and had that for both lunch and dinner. I dipped them in mayo. Breakfast was coffee/hwc and about 2 ounces of cheese. Last night I wanted something sweet but I really need to go to the grocery store. So, I went to the kitchen and took 2 shots of whipped cream right out of the can Hope my kids didn't see because I always yell at them if they do that!

Planning on weighing after the sunburn has healed. I'm sure the peeling will be starting soon. Any hockey fans? Tonight is GAME 7 for the Penguins/Rangers. GO PENS!!!

Gracie, I love the pics you've been posting. We have a chocolate lab also....or its a kangaroo/cheetah/goat hybrid. LOL

DairyQueen, If anyone can buckle down and get the job done, its you! I know you'll get back down to where you want to be in no time.

Bonny-Jean, Do you think its just the timing of your diet coke? So if you had it earlier in the day, it probably wouldn't show up on the scale the next day.....if that's what is causing the fluid retention. Whatever the cause, you'll get it off soon.

Shelly, Burn your scale! You're doing really well so don't pay attention to that number.

Sandy, Your posts make me laugh. In your mad dash, I hope you don't lose your pants in front of your guests. LOL

Cudabear, I hate TOM. At least you know what's causing the fluid retention and can wait it out.

James, Hi back at you! Still waiting on that video of you trying to walk down the stairs like a newborn calf on heels.

You're probably right. I seem to try to "fix" too many things at the same time. I keep forgetting to do ONE thing at a time. After sitting on the same pound for a week, decided I needed to up my calories which I did slightly on the weekend but switched the coffee for coke at the same time. Lord, no wonder I'm so confused (sigh). I'll keep my cals up a bit for a week and may or may not continue having coke but I think I was eating too little last weeks as well. Thanks BulldogMom

I'm going to give it a couple more days and re-evaluate. There were a few days where I didn't have veggies and a day of me going overboard with the veggies but mostly me eating like I always do. My weight never changed. So I'm not sure what exactly I would do anyway. Calorie, fat, protein, and carb counts all changed too. I feel like this isn't diet related and I just need to wait it out.

My new avatar is my other son, Gunner Butt. He's a maniac but we love him. LOL

"Tuesday" 13 May

Afternoon All,
have been spending the week on the west end of town doing some training. Damn the commute is driving me crazy; I should have picked a week when the construction was complete
Princessmommy: sometimes tight jeans aren't always a bad thing
Cudabear: you are in Alberta right...not Australia?
More hockey tonight & tomorrow if I'm not mistaken. Hopefully the Habs don't choke in Boston.
Sandy1: I could almost picture you opening the door to your visitors with curlers in your hair with a cup of coffee in hand. Think we all have those type of days.
Seeing as it appears to be cute dog picture week, I'll see if I can find some of my JRT.
What site are most of you using to host pics?

Hi everyone!. Just got back from a wonderful weekend in Kansas with the kids. So fun! My 2nd oldest daughter received her masters degree, and we all got to spend Mother's Day together, so it was awesome! A surprise visitor to her graduation was Steve Wozniak , so she was beside herself with excitement over that, and he was an incredibly gracious and nice man.

I'm loving all the puppy pictures! So wonderful!

DQ, you definitely have this under control, I have no doubt.

I attached a picture of my kids and I on Mother's Day. That's 5 of them, the other one is in Washington.

My daughter that just got her masters degree is also getting ready to open a new fitness studio. It's really very cool the way they're doing it, their workouts are all on these surfboard things. They do yoga on them, aerobic workouts, all kinds of things. It's a crazy intense workout, because you're also trying to balance on the board, which is on these ball things, so it's moving around while you're on it. It's hard to explain! . I attached a picture of my granddaughter and I on one. It was in my daughters living room still, because they just delivered them to her, but very cool!

MtherGoos!!! So glad to see you back! You all look great! I just saw a news segment on those boards. I think the studio was in Northern Va and it was a new thing for them also. It looked like a lot of fun!

CdnPaleoGuy, I don't use a picture site. I just hit "Go Advanced" on my reply and then look for the paperclip symbol to add your pic attachment.

Never enough PUPPY PICTURES!! Just love 'em!!

Sandy.. think me and ds will put the set together on the weekend, then the umbrella, then the arbour.
omg, your dogs are just incredible. What beautiful shedders!
They are such regal dogs, so noble looking. I just let out an "ahhhh" when I saw them. Bet nobody messes with you!

Sandy ~ OMG I your puppies!!! My sister just got a 3 month old female German Shepard. This family had a one year old and bought the dog. He said she would "bunny hop" when she ran and took her to the vet. The vet told him it's way too early to test for hip dysplaxia (sp?). The guy and his wife decided they couldn't risk it because they wanted the dog to grow old with the one year old!!!! He was going to put her down My sister went and got her and gave her a home with her 2 daughters. Some people disgust me!!! I will get a pic and post for you, her name is LILY

Edit ~ SORRY it's sideways but I don't know how to fix it! LOL

Ok, so I have eaten too much today. I don't know what's wrong with me I didn't eat breakfast, just had coffee/hwc/splenda. Lunch was a double quarter pounder with cheese/ no bun or ketchup. Dinner was the same as lunch Then I just macked out on some leftover chicken that I dipped in mustard My family had fried chicken, mashed taters, mac-n-cheese and brownies. I think I just felt bad for myself and wanted to eat

I need a good recipe for LC cheesecake that's EASY. I am not the best baker so it needs to be simple. Tomorrow is my 42nd birthday and I would like some kind of treat after dinner. Usually it would be double chocolate cake with cream cheese icing

I apologize for all the food talk. My mind is straying today!

Gracie, don't beat yourself up, it may have been more food than usual, but it's still all on plan. I do have a good cheesecake recipe, I'll have to find it for you. One super easy thing I make for my BF is take a block of cream cheese, break off little pieces of it and roll the pieces into balls, and roll the balls in the sugar free jello powder. Each one tastes like a little flavored cheesecake. He'll sit down at night and eat 5 or 6 (or more!) of those for dessert for very little carbs. Super easy and so so so good!
