I'm staying away from the scale since I know I've got to be up. Yesterday I took the kids to a bounce house to get rid of the crazy energy they have. I ended up getting a migraine and not feeling like cooking so we ordered a pizza. And you know how that went for me. But between the pizza and meds, I'm sure I'm up. My goal today, get a nap in and worry about my weight another day.

Morning All,
Family Day here in Ontario. I took a day off from work; nice to sleep in.
Ended up with some nice ribeye steaks from the butcher to celebrate Valentine Day; always a hit.
Saturday night we ended up at our favorite pub to celebrate some more.
Hit the gym yesterday & gave the squat rack a good. I usually stick to machines but it was time to get back to the free weights.
BTW, I finally made some oopsies! They were easier to make that I thought & not bad with some butter.
The scale at the gym reports I'm officially under 260 now. The fat sure isn't flying off like the last time I did Atkins
I see we have another fella join in the fun; James.
Well, depending on the kids, we're either heading to the Rideau for some skating or to the Y for a swim.
Have a good day folks.

Wow what a difference 12 hours of sleep can make to get you going in the morning.

Going to track my food better just cuz.

Baby is doing 100% better after taking the meds he was given. Should be back to himself in a day or 2.

Have a great day, off to morning meeting.

James

Atta girl!!

GyspySixpence, ARB, Mthergoos, Baddabing thanks for the pat on the back. Very much appreciated!

Sandy: Ran a little late for once this morning plus I had to choke down my one and only coffee with Silk milk. Not a fan! I think I'll be back to my fattening hwc when this Silk is done. Oh well, nothing ventured, nothing gained, eh!!!

Mthergoos: Yeah, that Harely jacket is tres cool!!!
I'll have to show you all the embroidery on the back so it'll have to wait till my butt's a little smaller.

Ingredients: nothing artificial or chemical. Lots of vitamins!!
In ONE WHOLE CUP the nutrition facts are:
Calories 30
Fat 2.5 g
cholesterol 0 mg
Sodium 150 mg
Potassium 35 mg
Carbs 1 g IN A WHOLE CUP!!!
Dietary Fibre 1 g
Sugars 0g
and again, tons of vitamins.

OMG, you guys!! I sure hope this tastes great cause unless you know something I'm not seeing here, this sounds like my wonder creamer!!!
I love Almond Milk. I have been drinking it for years, since dairy and whole milk has a lot of mucus and can stall weight loss. I use Almond Milk in my low carb smoothies & decaf coffee. I also use Coconut Milk. (Unsweetened of course). Both taste great to me & are healthy alternatives to milk.

February 1: 156.8 (squats/arm weights/crunches)
February 2: 158.4 (crunches)
February 3: 158.4 (squats/arm weights/crunches)
February 4: 157 (squats/crunches)
February 5: 157 (squats/crunches/arm weights-just deltoids and triceps...elbow is killing to much for bicep work, 90 minutes of shoveling snow)
February 6: 156.2 (finally a day of rest...not really, I need to shovel some more)
February 7: 156.2 (100!!! squats, arm weights, push ups, a lame plank)
February 8: 155.8 (105 squats, about 10 pushups, another lame plank)
February 9: 155.6 (110 squats, arm weights-focused on triceps)
February 10: 156.2 Sigh (Today is a rest day! No squats for me! Woot!)
February 11: 155.4 (130 squats/arm weights)
February 12: 154.4 (135 squats)
February 13: No w/i (140 squats/arm weights/push-ups)
February 14: 156 (rest day, but shoveled heavy snow for an hour) TOM
February 15: 154.4 (150 squats/arm weights) TOM
February 16: 154.2 (155 squats) TOM
February 17: 153.2 (160 squats/arm weights) TOM

February goals: Complete the 30 day squat challenge that I was crazy enough to join to with my crazy friend!

Figure out a planking/push-ups routine for my ab work.
Arm weight routine every other day (as tolerated). Damn tennis elbow is still with me.

Weight goal: 147...but to be honest, I will be thrilled to see anything in the 140s. I haven't seen the 140s since early 1998!

Nice whoosh this morning! I am now 2.4 pounds from my low of Thanksgiving morning 2012. Only 18 pounds to go.

Wow, Skinny, you're only 5 pounds from goal! Awesome!

Glad to hear that the baby is feeling better, James!

The sun is shining here today, but it's still pretty cold. Supposed to get into the mid-30s tomorrow and then be in the 40s for several days, so we're going to try and make the effort to get a few walks in. 40 degrees is going to feel like summer after the winter we've been having here in Upstate NY!

Baddabing, don't let it throw you off track. You can grab a bunless burger from just about any place, or a steak, or even a salad with lots of protein and a full fat dressing. Or go someplace that serves breakfast all day and get some bacon and eggs.

If you like your coffee a little creamier, without using HWC, I use a tsp of coconut oil along with coconut milk, then add some stevia & sprinkle with unsweetened cocoa powder!

I had peperoni and cheese sticks in my work fridge so it will get me buy until I get home. I would rather starve, which I do not think is possible on this, before letting something like that throw me off. I GOT PLANS!

Got a nice walk in too to boot. Warm today another storm front comming later this week I heard.

Afternoon Folks,
managed to get some swimming in. Kids didn't want to brave the crowds down on the canal.
Coffee->only thing that goes in mine is coconut oil & butter. Occasionally some cinnamon.
Babbabing: can of sardines, beef jerky, some mixed nuts. Depends how far work is from the Dollarama or whatever you folks call it.
Geez, you folks are all fainting away. Oh well, 6 more months till August. Will see if Missy's prediction comes through

I am beginning to think I am supposed to get a pic of me with one or more of my dogs.

Got home did a 3 mile run outside and felt a lot more stronger this time. Turns out you dont get almost ran over less if you go when the suns still out. I still like running under the moonlight anyway. Probably all those grave yard shifts I used to do for so many years.

Having a spinach and chicken salad tonight. Wife will wonder if I ran out of wings.

Firstly.... LOVE YOUR PUPPY!!!
One tbsp!!! Wow, don't know how ya do it!! The more I used it, the more of it I used. LOL. I'll bet you I was going thru 1/2 c of hwc in 3 or 4 c of coffee and that's why I was looking for something else as I was also worried it was stalling me. That's a lot of fat and calories consumed but I'm weak and I want my hwc back. What I'm hoping to do is just have it in my morning coffee and use the Silk in my evening tea. It's not so bad in tea.
