That they are! They are unique individuals, just like people. I love the distinct personalities.

pcaltman: OMG, so funny girl. Touche!!

Ah, you guys are cracking me up!! Some really wonderful relationships here. So happy for you all. When a relationship is good I don't think there's anything in the world that comes close to that.

Hey, what about the single ladies??? The ones who look after home, yard, snow, minor cars repairs, bugs, renovating, landscaping, dogs, budgies, bunnies, water leaks, climbing on the roof to remove snow and clean the gutters (my ladder did fall once and I was stuck up there for over an hour)
.... blah, blah, blah!!!

Sandy: Yep, they're German Shedders for sure. I fostered a few RCMP K-9's and I swear I could have made a rug a month with those guys. Incredible dogs though. If I could handle the hair, I'd have one in a heart beat.

BulldogMom: I just about peed my pants when I saw your picture. OMG, he's hilarious. The fact that he actually hid under the table... that's just too damn funny!!! I could look at dog pictures all day long. Thanks so much for sharing your precious boy with us!!

Welcome Lil Moon: You'll love this thread. Great people here.

Have a great evening all you "in love" folks.
Me and my little Bandit will cuddle tonight. She's my heart.

I have to be honest, the shedding makes me NUTS! When we got our Rott, about 8 years ago, I had NO IDEA that Rottweillers were shedders! I mean, really really bad. So for the entire time we've had her, I take her in and have her shaved a few times a year. She loves it, she always feels so good when all that hair comes off of her, and it keeps me sane!

Wow, I never knew that and never would have thought that, being as it's dense and short but I guess hair is hair, right?? My labs only shed twice a year, thank God.

That pic I put in my Avatar is Buddy taking over the little couch I purchased for a Shi-tzu I fostered. He declared that to be his and had it completely squashed in a month!!! As you can see only 1/2 his body even fit in it. Ha-ha.

1. I want a kitchen aid thingy too
2. Bonny you can go out to dinner with me and my wife, you just have to get to Colorado Springs first. Ill show you were to get the best Ribeye ever!
3. I one more person comes up to me with a cookie, candy, pie, cake, etc I will scream. I know they know that I say "I dont eat carbs" everyday then they say this is a fruit or something else.... and I have to do a mini class on carbs. You would think since we work in a medical facility they would be more health minded here but I swear sometime I think I am walking into a bakery no a skilled nursing facility.

LOL, I agree! I have been "gifted" with more candy, chocolates, baked goods this week than ever.... and everyone knows that I am LC.... on the plus side, I did not have to spend any money on gifts for others, I just regifted all except the flowers, haha

I know they mean well, but sometimes it feels like sabotage

LOL I did this too! I'm so bad and so cheap! But a neighbor left some chocolates on our doorstep at Christmas. So I froze them and brought them back out this past week to hand out with the Valentine's Day cards. Our neighbor travels the world and is always bringing us goodies for watching his house. The teachers probably thought I was awesome for spending so much money on fine chocolates from Italy.

James it is Awful how much Junk there is at My grandmas assisted living! The food they make the residents looks Horrible! But there is always sweets etc that someone brings and leaves out for whoever wants them. Gran said there are quite a few ladies she's friends with that have diabetes and eat cakes, cookies etc and their blood sugars Sky rocket! We supply Gran with snacks since she can't get out to get her own to easily but we try to make them healthier then that other junk!
On a good note DH and I won a T-shirt and 5 dollar gift card to that Fro-Yo place we went to last night! Love winning stuff! Lol
on a not so great note I need some Good thoughts- Prayers whatever ya can do. I'm dealing with some depression and i'm not sure what's causing it. Maybe Thyroid, maybe something else but I Hate Hate feeling like this

At first we couldn't figure out how he was doing it because the chairs were pushed in. But he'd get to the top of the stairs to the house and jump over to the table. So pigs can fly but they can't jump down. LOL We had to push the table further away from the house so we don't have to run out and rescue him anymore.

He's so darn cute BulldogMom! One of our pitties does the same thing! Although she can just jump right on the table. Who knew pits could jump! LOL I always yell at her and make her get down.... but her dad lets her stay up there. This could be why she's such a brat.......

Sandy... where are you?? Aren't you supposed to start the posts in the morning? Always embarrassing to end one day and start the next! After this weight is gone, I must get a life! LOL.

Thanks to my 84 yr old bachelor neighbour, I was awakened at 3:30 this morning. I guess he figured it was a good time to start and move his car from the front drive (8' from my window) so now I'm up for the day. I've got another retiree that shovels the street, yes the street between 1 and 3 am. Oh well, I'll get my groceries done at 7am when the store is almost empty!

February thaw or Bonspiel thaw is coming on Monday for a few days so looking forward to our little heat wave of 20-30F. Whoo-hoo!!

Made the fatal mistake of letting things get me down yesterday and indulged in a large steak with bearnaise sauce. Apparently I still have moments where I'm eating emotionally. Really thought I got passed that. Oh well, just add 3 more days to my journey!!

Wishing a happy day for everybody!

There you are!
Morning dear. What time is it there? 2 p.m.??
Whoa, nice losses there, Sandy!!
Yeah, these neighbour men of mine are awake when most of us are tryna sleep. Ugh!! It's even worse in the summer. The 84 yr old has a better social life than me and when his girlfriends come over and drink, they get very loud!! LOL.

I got the bachelor on one side, the retiree across the street that scrapes his metal shovel on the pavement at 3 am, and then I have a father/son team on the other side who look and talk like they're from the movie "Deliverance" and lucky me is right in the middle!!!

Bonny Jean...that sounds awfu or funny I'm not sure which loll, I wouldn't mind the neighbour that parties as long as I got invited over...it seems a lot of people get worse as they get older, I think I am included lol, they sound like a really mixed bunch of people though lol.
I hate it when people wake me up....it puts me in such a bad mood as I don't sleep well anyway, its the only thing that makes me mad, I can't imagine what I would want to do to the guy who scrapes his shovel when he is up and awake at that time...weird isn't it, he must have trouble sleeping as well.....someone needs to buy him a plastic shovel and hide his metal one lol.

Time here is now 20 minutes after 12 (noon) I know we are five hours ahead of Ontario and four hours ahead of Nova Scotia as that's where two of my children are....I think you are another time zone over making us six hours ahead of you, so your time is 20 past six in the morning, oh wow you have been up a while haven't you....the only good thing about that is you are guaranteed a really good nights sleep lol.

I loved the pic of your dog on the couch and have had such a laugh this morning reading everyones posts from last night, you all got so chatty lol, it was a good read with my coffee.

Good morning!! Hey Sandy, that pound you lost.....I think I found it!!! I guess that is what being snowed in for 2 days brings....just lucky that it was only that much Bonnie....I'll trade you ...your neighbors for my teenagers.....they both like to get up in the middle of the night to eat....and they boy do they eat!!!!! .....whole packages of food go missing during the night round here.... and then there is my brother who is a smoker...up and down all night long going outside to smoke....well, at least he goes outside to do it.
