Starting atkins induction have a question
Ive been on Atkins Induction for 5 days today. well I have been losing consistently but today im up 1 pound and 6 ounces.
The only thing that changed was I didn't drink nearly as much water as I usually do yesterday and someone got me what they thought was an unsweet tea but it was infact sweetened. I only took one drink but could that drink have caused the 1.1 pound weight gain?
AM Tea with coconut oil
egg with 2 pieces of bacon or the warm cocomut oil pudding or chia seed pudding.
1min muffin with butter.(every once in a while not every day)
lunch fried wings with either low carb honey mustard or hooters hot wing sauce or a cauliflower pizza slice of the crustless pan pizza.
PM Meat (like steak or pork loin)
Veggie (like brussel sprouts or spinach fried up with butter and bacon)
Dessert Usually either Atkins bar or candy
One snack is usually a piece of cheese

No, I don't think that one sip would cause a weight gain like that. If you've been losing consistently for 5 days, it's not unusual that you might see a slight gain as your body gets used to the changes you're making. Don't let it throw you off track. As long as you stay consistent, stick to the foods that are on plan, and have patience, the weight will come back off and you will keep losing.
Having said that, I would quit eating the Atkins bars and candy. Stick to real foods and try to stay away from the bars, shakes, and candies.

I dont recomend constant weighing. I would do weekly or bi weekly. I do use the ketosticks to ensure I am in Ketosis. You would have known if the tea knocked you out if you had used them.
This exact same thing happened to me after i realized Diet Caffeine Free Coke and Caffeine free Coke looks exactly the same minus one tiny part of the can.
