Day 3 of Induction - Very Dizzy?

Hey, Im new to the forum.
Im trying the atkins induction because I've tried so many other things but nothing seems to work. I have a feeling I may be eating to many hidden carbs so I gave induction a go.
Day 1 are 2 went great.
Day 3 has been really bad though. I have been very dizzy.. I wasn't sure why I was dizzy so I blamed it on induction. I ended up making myself a coffee with full cream and 3 sugars and eating 2 chocolate chip cookies. I know.. really bad!

I must also add I workout for an hour every day, jogging up and down hills.
Yesterday I did 15 kms which has been the maximum I've done.

I also (sorry TMI) started my period today.

I have netball this afternoon and didn't want to feel dizzy. I'm new in the netball team and didn't want to cancel.. so I loaded on carbs and now I am not as dizzy anymore but feel like I have ruined whatever progress I could've done.

Have I destroyed all my progress?
Do I need to start on square one?

Has anyone else been very dizzy on induction? any solutions that don't involve carb loading?

It's totally normal to feel light headed and even a little cruddy as your body transitions over to fat burning. This way of eating tends to flush your system out too, so if you just drink some broth, chicken or beef, it may help. The extra sodium could be just what you need. Yes, if you carb loaded, you probably undid what you may have accomplished during the first 2 days, but that's ok. Just get right back on track and get started again. Keep your eating clean, listen to your body, and keep on going.

Totally normal. Broth is a good option.
I also ate blueberries. Eating about a half of cup is 7-8 carbs and will probably make you feel better. Also, not as easy to binge on as chocolate chip cookies.

The dizzy feeling will go away...just stick with it.

hey new atkins girl,
i asked the same question only 2 weeks ago when i was in the same position, and im happy to say IT DOES GET BETER!!!! the first week is a struggle but keeps at it!!!
