Back on Atkins
 
Hi folks,
I decided to return to lo carb eating after many years of eating the "other" way. Health is my main focus this time around, although I won't lie looking better is always a plus! About ten years ago I lost 35 pounds on Atkins with very little effort, my main problem was lack of support which I hope this wonderful group will help to fill that void.:heart:

Welcome, Husker. The support you will find here is fantastic! It makes such a huge difference, especially when the scale gets stuck or decides to bounce up instead of going down. :)

Thanks Sunny, I remember feeling more energy and less joint pain not to mention improved mood! Always interesting to see how others are experiencing the changes.

Thank you Princessmommy, I'm very excited about this undertaking! Kind words from others walking this path will prove to be an invaluable tool for me I'm sure!
Do you have any opinion on Splenda? I'm also looking for an eye opener in the morning since coffee with caffeine is a no no in the induction phase.

Thanks for the reply MthrGoos, I really like how you have your goals laid out! Good to know I can have coffee although I'm starting to feel more energy not having all that sugar gumming up my blood....have a wonderful night!
