Sweeteners/ Sugar Substitutes
 
Hello everyone I love the site I am new and this is my first post. What is the best sugar substitute for low carb for baking and something like a mock danish. I have seen a lot plenty on Splenda but looking for something that is more natural. Thanks Cheslee

Read up on Stevia and Truvia (same manufacturer). Sounds like Splenda isn't all it's cracked up to be. Did some researching today and was surprised by what I read. Too much information to post here.

Yeah you see what I mean? I have tried stevia but that after taste...girl.... I will try Truvia never tried it yet.

Let me know what you think of the Trevia cause it's very expensive here. I can hardly afford the $9.00 bag of Splenda!!! PC has a copy of Splenda that's $7.00 and I couldn't find any difference on the ingredients or amounts so I'm using that right now. I guess the bottom line is to try to eliminate them all together. I couldn't drink coffee without it so.................
