My sister lost 60 lbs in the last year; she weighs 190lbs now. The last time I saw her, she weighed 20 lbs LESS than me and yet we wear the same size (US sz14). She's also and inch taller than me but otherwise we are built the same. I've been a life long exerciser and she was/is less so. I am DENSE - ha, in a good way! At 190lbs, I fit into a US sz 12 nicely (my goal for 10/1/14).

I have cut back on my exercising to two days a week and feel good. It is just hard to get out of the house with three kids fed and changed in time to make my exercise class at 8:45am. I hope to be down to the 150's by the end of August at 161 right now

I think that the key to success is to realize that this is a life change. This is the way that we should eat for the rest of our lives. Of course you can have the occasional splurge or treat or off plan meal, but then you're right back to your regular way of life. For me, I think that will be the key to success in maintenance. I HOPE so anyway! LOL I feel like I finally have this all figured out, and like, for the first time ever, my head is in the right place and I'll be able to finally keep it off. Time will tell......
Depending on how you define keep weight off. However the real rate of lets say being about the same weight a year later or close to it is probably about 98-99% failure rate. Everyone says the same thing. Why is why I believe fitness will help keeps things in line.

I have been on induction for 5 weeks and have lost 16 pounds. I have been exercising for the past 2 weeks. Maybe I'll notice a difference. I currently weigh 214, I want to get to my pre-pregnancy weight which is 198. Then after that I would like to continue till I get to 160. I am very determined.
