Mthrgoos you're catching whatever I have! Lol! Ok not really but I am SO ready to quit Gaining and start Losing again!!

We're stuck here at the DMV waiting for my son to take the drivers test. We had to drive 25 miles away to take it since the one in Our town only takes the first 10 people! Ticked me Off!!!

Quota on driver's tests? Are they trying to reduce the number of driver's in/from AR? I can feel your pain though, my son took his last Thursday, so now I have two teenage BOY drivers on the road! Eek!

Well he got the State trooper who was a Major Jerk! Yelled at Sam for pulling out of the parking lot wrong! It wasn't even posted How or Where to pull out. So he failed Broke my heart for him. Oh well we'll try again tuesday

So sorry to hear that Shelly! Agree with Bonny! Hopefully his next one goes much better!

I made it through another day cheat free. I even made chicken strips for the family for lunch, chicken spaghetti for dinner and homemade brownies with chocolate buttercream frosting for dessert (per a request from my boys). I didn't even lick the frosting spoon! The smell is heavenly though.

My foods today:
B: coffee with HWC, MCT oil and SF DaVinci syrup, 2 HB eggs with mayo
L: chicken thigh with Guy's SF BBQ sauce (yummy!), creamed spinach with cream cheese and Parmesan
S: coffee with HWC and SF DaVinci, SF jello cup with dollop of whip cream
D: bacon fried cabbage

Snow still coming down and schools closed again tomorrow. Not sure yet if work will be open. Praying I don't have to drive in this crap!

Well, darn it. I have to go back to work today. Per the news, the roads are terrible. Thankfully we have a 2 hour delay. We ended up with 8.5 inches of snow. Biggest storm in 3 years for us.

I'm drinking my coffee now and plan to pack a good lunch. Will try to just avoid the kitchen at work as I know there are always temptations there. I've lost 4.6 lbs in 2 days but it always goes fast the first few days back on plan with water weight.

Mthergoos, I bet you're looking hot in your new yoga pants and tank tops! Great job on the size medium! Wow!

I hope everyone has a great day. I don't get online at work so my posts will be less frequent. I need this forum to help stay on track so will get back online tonight!

Shelly my son is 17 and doesn't even have his permit yet. I know doesn't make sense, but sorry your son has to do it over.

Yoga pants sound very comfy.

Well I guess it was all the cream, cheese and cream cheese for all the soups and snacks I have been eating. Now I am eating tons of stuff just making it all whole foods like pork chops and side salads. I still can't seem to stop the cream in the coffee, but all in all I am losing so I don't care

Also, I have to find out about sauces and such things to avoid. Can you just order meat at restaurants in Czech Republic?

Yeah I was pretty ticked at the state trooper! She was Harsh! See where We live it's all 2 lane highways no 4 lanes etc so he's not used to all that. but he drove all the way there and did Awesome! So I guess we'll see how he does in Our town next tuesday. They only have it there every Tuesday.

pcalt, .5 is a good drop. I average .6. Also cream cheese seems to stall me, so maybe just eliminating that would help.

Good Morning everyone! Thanks so much for all the support! Scale was back down to 178 today, but I don't trust the darn thing to stick! It was nice to be able to make dinner at home last night though, so hopefully eating at home again will help too.

Bonny, compression tank tops are kind of like "control top" tank tops. LOL. They'll to hold in my loose skin and fat and smooth it out. If I'm wearing a loose top, like a sweat shirt, I don't bother, but if I'm wearing a tighter top, I wear one underneath. I've got a lot of loose skin to deal with, so it just makes it look smoother.

Hi Makemeslim,
I think the majority are online but I think they do have real shops, but most are way outside London - Americansweets is up in Manchester, Americansoda is somewherelse like Flint etc. Mulberry and Appleton are in London but for collection only in Marylebone. I think I got my syrup from Sugarfreemegawarehouse as well. The American/Canadian/Australian shop in Covent Garden is gone so not really sure where a real shop is anymore.

Graig farm definitely do a veg box as well as meat, and free delivery if you order over Ł50 and they will even do a Saturday delivery. I found a few places that do unpasteurised butter, cream, milk and cheese - again, all online... There is always Borough Market

I did consider getting a veg box but found they contain too many root veg and not enough salad, so just try and hit the market once a week

Hello Everyone! WOW what a chatty group this month! it took me a while to catch up!
I made a LC cheesecake yesterday, but it ended up tasting just meh. The consistency was good, though. Do da vinci syrups go bad over time? like over a year in time?
the ones i used didn't smell so great. Well,actually, my newest one, which is only a few months ago, didn't smell so great either.

NEVER GIVE UP!!!

Well January has proved to be a challenging month for us all.
Don't give up guys. We can do this. Spring is right around the corner.
I vow to not wear the same large clothes, I wore last Spring & Summer and I will not give up until I reach my 140 goal!

So I lost 50 lbs in 5 months (August to December ...200 to 150). (+/- 5 lbs during the holidays)

Now this entire month of January I am stuck at 150!

I keep trying different food combinations, not eating certain things, cannot possibly drink any more water, have changed up my exercise plan, am getting to bed by midnight, which gives me a good 6 hours of sleep before my kids & dogs wake up...so what else can I do?! Throw in the towel & start eating badly...NOOOOOOO. I will keep on keeping on!

Next week I will resume my "Smoothie Detox", just low carb smoothies all day!
I would love to wear my size 6 bikini when hubby & I go on our Caribbean vaca in 8 weeks!!!
No more 1 piece swim dresses!!!!

Not happy about the blip on the scale, but I know rationally that it was a bit too much sodium yesterday. Waist is smaller, boobs are a little smaller. I'm a slave to the scale even though I shouldn't be.

It's just going to be meat and eggs and a little cheese today. And lots of green tea and water.

Wow! Lots of good drops today!! Congrats to Lori, DQ, pink, missy, Shelly, bulldogmom, pcaltman, Bonny, arb and Laura!! Whew! So sorry if I missed anyone! Congrats also to mthergoos, gypsy, skinny and everyone else staying on plan!! That to me is a great achievement in itself!

I made it through a day at work. I'll be home again tomorrow with the boys as our schools are closed for the rest of the week due to the snow. Hubby will cover Friday so I'll go back to work then. Fridays are especially bad for donuts and other junk at work. I will be strong though!

Foods today:
B: coffee with HWC and SF DaVinci, 2 HB eggs
S: coffee with HWC and SF DaVinci
L: bacon fried cabbage
D: chicken thigh with guacamole

I'm hoping that's it for the day. Don't plan to have anything but water for the rest of the night. I'm getting the horrible metallic taste in my mouth so I think I'm finally in ketosis. Also feel a lot less hungry today (huge relief!!!).

I finally decided on just a veggie beef soup. Ground beef, mushrooms, zuchini, cabbage and green beans. Oh and fried up 3 strips of bacon and threw it in there Lol! So Yum! I'm trying to drink more water today. I'd LOVE to see another drop on that scale tomorrow!!

I have a question for the ladies... At what point do your ta-tas shrink? I've lost about 20lbs, and 25 from goal, dropped a dress size and a half - but nothing has changed in the cup department. I know thousands pay for a D cup, but I desperately want my Bs back!

And, how on earth can I get my thighs to shrink? I have two huge ugly bruises on them from spinning classes, where my thighs are banging into the seat adjusting thingy.

Mothergoos, when I read your post about compression tops, I was thinking you were wearing Skins all the time! Doh! Over here, we call them suckies!

I've been wearing shapewear for years, in fact, I feel naked without it! My favourites are the Maidenform Control It waist thingy which covers from below knicker line to bra and great for tops, the Trinny and Suzannah magic thigh tamer, covering thighs to bra strap or the Spanx Higher Power. I also have the Yummy Tummy cami tops and then Marks and Spencers have a great range of really thin camis and shorts. I also have pantyhose with a full thigh to bra strap suckie built in, so definitely no lines when wearing dresses.

I cannot go out without wearing one. If its the hottest day in the summer, I can guarantee you I'm wearing a full suckie (suck it all in from thighs all the way up!). I hate all the extra wobbly bits, they have a mind of their own. I have every intention of having all my extra skin removed when I reach my goal. I didn't do it last time, and seriously regret it - I was more ashamed of my body once I lost weight and was like a saggy goat. This time, am going to do it sooner so will not fall back into old habits.

I think I'm going to do it in the US as there seem to be some of the best surgeons there.

Anyway, its bedtime. Hope everyone has had a great day and kept on plan and is happy!
