I'll relax a little when I see 187 but I'll know for sure if I'm finally on the right track when I see 185. Tonight is date night and I'm going to sneak a protein bar into the hockey game. I'm going to try and not eat it though since it might stall me. Dinner out won't be an issue as I'll stick to a steak or burger

Let me know how you like the elliptical.
I know it gives a great full body workout.

I may need to change up my workout routine, since I am stuck at the same weight!
(Not complaining though...have not been 150 since before kids & marriage, so I am thrilled)

I will make my 140 goal. I will keep trying.

Thanks bulldogmom. I was actually trying to lose slower this month. I actually have eaten a lot more than usual this past week and still lost- three 1200+cal days instead of one. I keep changing things up with the eating, some days I eat a lot for me, some days I fast. Maybe I will get to 160 by the end of the month.

Keep at it Skinny. You will get there!

Shelly, I am so sorry about the weight gain. I know so many meds have that side effect. Hopefully not smoking for the time you have, it will be easier for you to keep not smoking without the chantix. You will lose the weight pretty quickly once off of it.

Good Morning Everyone! Still not weighing, since my house is still torn up. Still having to eat out every night, which I'm really really not happy about, but still staying 100% on plan. I just don't always trust that restaurant food is as pure as what I make at home. Hoping I'm doing okay though, and REALLY hoping for 179 when I get weigh again. Probably tomorrow.

Laura, Missy, and BulldogMom, wonderful Whooshes!!! Way to go!!!

Missy, I'm so glad to hear that you're shaking things up and still losing so well. I'm so afraid to shake things up for fear that it will backfire on me. I'm closer to my goal than I've been in many many years and I'm really afraid of messing that up. I WANT to try though. LOL

Shelly, I'm so sorry sweetie. Hopefully the Chantix took the edge off long enough for you to stay away from the cigarettes without it. Honestly, looking over your menu, it doesn't look like a lot of food, and it's on plan, so I don't understand what's causing your gains, and I know that's the frustrating part for you.

I hope everyone has a great day!!!! Where's Bonny this morning?????

Good morning everyone!!

I'm at work -- i have leftover bbq from one of the food trucks -- from yesterday, and i brought in an egg just in case I don't want the bbq. somethng about bbq the next day that's kind of - meh.

I'm doing well and am in a happy place, although just maybe i want a one minute muffin or some ultra LC cheesecake or something different.
I have a lot of CLEARING OUT to do in my house - was planning to do some last night, but I don't know where the evening went. well, i do -- talking to two friends whose mother and aunt, respectively, died and is dying, respectively. So that was sad. Tonight, though, I HAVE to do some clearing out (clothes) and take some photos for ebay. I DID clear out my bathroom and it looks 100% better! I had meds that expired from 1991 in my linen closet! wha????

Shelly, I'm sending you some big hugs! I don't know about Chantix or what happens when you quit smoking. But I trust what the others have said. Your body is going through some major changes with withdrawals and detoxing. I feel like when enough time has passed for your body to get its balance back, all will be well again. It doesn't help with your frustration in the meantime. Hang in there and we're all going to get you through this.

Arb34, it isn't uncommon to see a bounce back up when you've had some great losses for a while. Keep doing what you're doing and that scale will go back down again.

Mthergoos, fingers crossed you see the 170s tomorrow! I have no doubts that you will. You've been awesome at staying on plan.

DairyQueen, I'm sorry about your friends having to go through losses. What a great friend you are to be there for them. Glad to see you popping in to let us know you're doing great!

Pcaltman, whatever you're doing, its working! Great job!

Skinny, Do you think you're ready to try T25 again? I was thinking of going hardcore when I'm about 10 lbs from goal. Right now its just the treadmill and running. I listen to music and spaceout to keep it from getting monotonous.

Here I am!!! Ha-ha. My "touched" neighbor was out at 3am shoveling the street!! What a lunk. He's retired and I guess naps off and on so why he goes out at that time to shovel is beyond me? Up at 3 and went back to bed at 6, then slept till 9. He always wakes me when he's dragging that metal shovel on the concrete! Ugh.

Laura, Missy, and BulldogMom: Way to go Ladies!!!

Mthergoos: So how much flooring is done??? I guess tile takes quite a while, eh?? Sweet of you to look for me. Tee-hee.

ARB: No worries. Sometimes this happens to all of us.

Shelly: Oh, my poor sweet girl. You're breaking my heart. I feel for you, especially when you've taken on so much. I was actually gonna suggest weaning off the Chantix if you felt you might be ready. I commend you for the strength to tackle this demon while still working on your WOE. I know I could never do that. I quit my Garcinia Cambogia and Multi-vitamin a week ago and my scale is moving again so hopefully removing the Chantix will make a difference?? I will say a little prayer for you. Take care my dear.

Won't know for another hour or so whether any weight/fat is gone; using the same scale at the gym.
Ordered breakfast this morning with a group of guys I geocache with & the cook screwed up & brought me the taters & beans along with the eggs & bacon. When his wife came by & looked at my plate; I mentioned that I hadn't ordered what was left. No temptation at all but I was giving second thoughts to using the toast for dipping.
So far, so good. Off to the pool for a few laps & a good soak in the hot water.

DQ, you are such a good friend. I know it means a lot to them to have you there to listen.

CDN, I just recently started geocaching and Love it! I've only done two searches but it is so fun. A little hard at first, but I think I am getting the hang of it. I am thinking about starting one instead of just finding them.

Okay for those of you not on strict induction or are wanting to have a lc treat every now and then - I just modified a friends Peanut Butter Bar recipe and it was Delish and only 1.3net carb per square.

Bottom Crust
3tbs butter 18f/0c/0p I use lightly salted real butter
5tbs cacao powder 2.5f/5nc/5p I use hershey's
5 tbs pb 40f/10nc/20p I use Kroger's Natural Creamy PB

Line small baking sheet with parchment paper. Melt butter, stir in pb, add and stir in cacao. Spread across sheet in square shape - easy to push down and out with back of spoon.

Topping
6tbs butter 36f/0c/0p
6tbs pb 48f/12nc/24p

Melt butter, stir in pb. Spread across cacao crust. Freeze for 15-20 mins.

Makes 20 2"x 2" squares.
Total Count 144.5f/27nc/49p this is for all of them combined.
1sq = 7.23f/1.35nc/2.45p

Her doctor prescribed Welbutrin, also know as Zyban.
It is for smoking cessation, but it also curbs appetite & speeds up metabolism.
Dr. Oz called it the "happy, horny, skinny pill", because it also is prescribed to treat depression & causes an increase in sex drive!

My friend quit smoking & lost 20 lbs in a month. That was last year & she is still a non smoker & kept the weight off.

Bonny-Jean; I geocache wherever I happen to be but the main of it has been in Ont & cross-border trips into Quebec. What's your user name on GC.Com?
Mjgh06: I know how tempting it might be to hide your 1st cache but wait till you have a few finds under your cap unless of course, you have a few friends who are experienced & can suggest the good from the bad hides.
As for the scale; no movement however, I haven't played with the tape measure. Perhaps there has been some lose & I haven't noticed.

Not on GC.Com. Just wondering if it was something you did in your neighborhood or city or what???
The tape measure and your clothes are a better indicator than that scale sometimes. You weighed AFTER breakfast??? Do you not weigh at the same time??

most of the caches were found in the Nations' Capital. I'm not a slave to the scale so when I have a swim day, I'll check the scale. Think I'll avoid it till I feel a noticeable change in the clothes.

Shelly as long as you move on you'll be fine. I only took the Chantix for a few weeks and the results lasted. I bet they'll last for you too.
