Ava: Your menu sounds perfect. I'm no expert on this, but it sounds excellent. What are drinking and how much. It is a bit of a mystery why you wouldn't be losing a little more in the beginning but it sounds like you're doing everything right. Too personal, but is it TOM?? How are your bloodwork? Any medical issues you're dealing with?? None of my business, of course... just trying to help ya, is all.
If this is indeed exactly what you're eating and you have no issues, then the only thing I can suggest is patience. Sometimes it's the only thing that gets us through this. Best of luck. Keep at it!!!
btw: I know this is gonna sound bizarre but why don't you try not exercising for 1 week. Muscle weighs more than fat although much denser. I'm sure it's not right to suggest no exercise to someone but again, if you have no medical issues, I'd be curious to see what happens if you put the exercise on hold for a week. Just sayin'

All I drink now is water. Lots and lots of water. I was having a coffee in the morning with 2 tbs hwc and 2 packs splenda. I stopped a few days ago to see if the dairy in the hwc or the sugar sub was helping me stall.

I haven't been to a doctor in a long time other than for flu stuff. No health ins, so only go if it's an emergency. I had my gallbladder removed about 6 years ago, I don't know if that will have anything to do with anything. My TOM is kinda crazy though. Sometimes it lasts for a few days, sometimes up to two weeks. DH is getting ready to go to the military in a couple months, so I will be able to have a better idea of what is going on with my health when I have ins and I can get to a Dr. It is TOM, but my weight has been just sorta chillin for the last month, ever since I hit 40 lbs lost it just stopped, and I've gained about 4 lbs. I can quit the exercise for a week and see what happens. Maybe it's hormones. Maybe it's my fat cells holding water as place holders. I don't know. I'm just trying to stay positive, stay on plan, and wait.

Avaleigh, I don't think your gallbladder being out should have anything to do with it. I had mine out about 6 months ago, and it didn't effect me one way or the other. Of course we're all different, but it doesn't seem like it should make a difference.

I think your plan for the next week sounds great. Quit the exercising, stay consistent with your food, just eat clean and don't deviate from your plan and see how it goes. You're doing a great job, so keep it up and try to be patient. I know it really sucks when you're doing everything right and still can't budge the scale. It will happen though, and in the meantime, we're all here for you to vent to!

Ava: Mthergoos is right and couldn't have said it better myself. It's not your gall bladder (mine left me 2 yrs ago) but it could be hormones, it could be TOM so you're young enough to have variables and it sounds like patience is the thing you need right now. I'm pretty sure it's not your coffee, hwc or sub. Good thing or I'd die fat cause I ain't givin up my coffee!!! LOL. Can I promise you that if you stay on plan you WILL lose weight............ I promise!!!

I'll chime in and say that I don't think it's your gall bladder either. I had mine removed when I was 21 years old (almost 23 years ago)!

Women can just have so many variables (or more likely to have many variables). Hormones are a pita!

Mthergoos, I LOVE your tattoo! I love the hidden meanings in all of the details. It definitely makes it special.

Pcaltman, Avaleigh arb34 and Shelly, I say we have a scale burning party. I'm tired of the fluctuations myself.

Bonny-Jean, your losses are fine. I hear the slower you lose, the better and less likely you'll regain anything back. I hope that's true since I lose slower the snail trudging through peanut butter.

Missy Dee, I'm glad your foot is doing better and your dh is helping out now. Sending prayers for all of the other stresses in your life.

Everyone is doing great sticking to the plan!

I've been eating meat and eggs for the last 5 days and I've been yo-yo'ing. Not the losses that I expected to see. There are no carbs for me to take out. Its time for me to get back to running. My foot is better but I'm not motivated because its been too darn cold. I'd rather stay under the covers.

Breakfast: 2 slices bacon
2 egg omelet with a scant quarter cup baby spinach leaves
2 Tablespoons of Feta cheese (omelet cooked in a Tablespoon
or so of butter)

Dinner: Same as breakast

4 big mugs (about 20 ounces each) of green tea--each mug had about a
Tablespoon + or so of Coconut Oil!

I got up super late for me (sooo weird). I ate "breakfast" at about noonish

Not hungry at all (other than when I cooked for myself). I haven't put Coconut Oil in a drink in ages.

It was just an omelet-y kind of day. I might have a cup of Chamomile before bed. Maybe I'll throw some more CO in with it!

Definitely fewer carbs and more fat than is typical for me. I'm guessing 3 carbs for the day... .5 for each egg and 1 for the scant 1/2 cup of spinach (measured raw-loosely packed). And I typically allow myself no more than 3 ounces of cheese (I try to keep it to two ounces most days as it will stall me if I do anything more than 3!

I do usually try to keep my total carbs for the day to about 10, and almost always under 15. I am switching it up for the week as a challenge to myself!

I do eat a lot of eggs because I like them (omelets, fried, scrambled, hard-boiled).

Carbs I typically eat are salad greens, some spinach (at times, I've been crazy for it lately), green beans, broccoli--it just depends on the day! I rarely eat other veggies. Mushrooms now and again.

I do (at times) rely on the VERY occasional Atkins bar or shakes (maybe once or twice per month)--they don't seem to stall me personally (if used sparingly), but I am not kidding myself, I do not think they're doing me any favors either. I have a small stash of them for times when I know I will not be able to get somewhere that I can eat something "safe" and cannot cook for myself. Example, yesterday I went to calling hours for an old family friend. I threw an Atkins bar into my purse before I left home (and I made sure I ate a really good breakfast) in case I needed to eat before I came home. The timing turned out, I was fine. The bar is still in my purse.

Calling hours are usually held at a funeral home. To go visit and speak with the family and other mourners. Sometimes in conjunction with a funeral service, but usually a few days before. Her actual memorial service will most likely be in a month or two.

MtherGoos, nope stuff is still stressful. All weekend every shift had 3 people except 3rd shift. The lil gal came in Saturday but I was by myself last night.... everyone just shakes there head. I have finally started to just do the best I can and let the next people work out the rest. I just feel like I'm not doing my job well on one side and the other side knows that I can't possibly do the work of 2 - 3 people.

Bonny, Congrats on getting under the 190. Hopefully it will stay there.

Thanks Bulldogmom. So far so good.

Laura, still hoping things get better for you.

Bonny, Under edit signature, use the first box for upload, but make sure you delete what's already there first or it will double enter it and not upload. After you enter it, then click upload, then click save signature. You will have to do this every time you change your ticker weight as it is only uploading the picture and will not update.

Congrats Arb on the drop!

Morning Everyone;
I realized after posting my weight Sunday morning it was a 2 lb drop. Whoa... knew that wasn't gonna stick. Oh well, at least 1 lb was lost. Maybe Tues or Wed will get me in the 180's. What a journey!!! Hope you all have better luck today.
