niciK, I keep it pretty simple most of the time. For breakfast I usually have either a hard boiled egg and some cheese, or 6 pieces of bacon. Lunch is typically 2 hard boiled eggs diced up in a bowl with mayo and mustard, an afternoon snack is an ounce of extra sharp cheese, and for dinner I usually have a steak, or a pork steak, or a couple of chicken thighs, or a couple of hamburger patties with cheese.

I'm boring, but I like sticking to the same foods.

Portland Oregon. It's not as cold as others by far but rainy which I love.

So the past couple days I've been fluctuating up and down a pound due to TOM. Hoping after its over I'll be back on the losing track.

In other news I got a call that I have a job finally after almost a year of not working. Now to plan for lunches and snacks!

Well that's good news!!! Not only for finances but your mental health as well. It will also help get you into a routine and that will be very helpful for your WOE. A pain sometimes having to think ahead but it's all good!!! All the best.

Anybody know how to make wings taste like KFC??? LOL. Seriously, the only thing I can think of just spicing them and putting them in the toaster oven but then everything's gonna taste like my ribs!! Anybody pan fry them??

A lot to catch up on. Just want to say thanks for all the support. I will be back and posting heaving in a few days. So chatty and I love it. Mothergoose all I can say is wow you are a machine.

LOL Bonny! Are you trying to make them crispy? For my BF, I make a coating out of crushed pork rinds and parmesan cheese to make things crispy. I know, pork rinds are , but they don't have any flavor at all as a coating, and then fry them in a pan with coconut oil. Is that what you're looking for?

I don't have any pork rinds and after finally seeing them on the shelf, the price just made me not even consider them. Maybe I'll just fry them in coconut oil and sprinkle parmesan afterwards as you suggested. Thanks hon!!

That sounds pretty good too! I make my chicken thighs in the oven just by coating them in olive oil and seasoning salt and then I bake them at 400 for one hour and the skin comes out nice and crispy too.

You're making me hungry! And I have 2 more hours of work!

Oh, those wings were quite good. Put lots of coconut oil and sprinkled with Montreal Steak Spice, cooked on low for awhile then medium for the last 8 mins or so and they were delish. Thanks.
That reminds me.... came home after work yesterday and my ds's gf had started supper for them. I said to my ds that it smelled like potatoes and seasoning salt. Opened the oven and sure enough, that's EXACTLY what it was!! LOL. Yep, I know my taters!!

Shrinking, I would take it as a compliment. That they see you for WHO you are, and not what you look like and that they love you just the same no matter what. They obviously don't pay any attention to what your body looks like, but it's your person that they love.

Mthergoos: You look so good in that new picture. I'm asking the good Lord to get me to 180 as soon as possible but you have to be careful what you ask him for......... when I was younger I used to ask him for bigger boobs but failed to specify WHERE!!!!! So be careful what you ask for.

Bonnie Jean my mother also said that you should be very careful when praying for things....she said she had prayed to lose weight and the next day she broke her dentures and couldn't eat. Seems God also has a sense of humor She's up there in heaven and probably having a good laugh right now

I am in day three, and honestly all has went rely well. I am guzzling water, i have lost weight (water weigh I am sure) . I didn't sleep more than three hours last night, and had the most vivid nightmare but this morning I have had the most energy today and have been doing walks at work and continue to bounce off the walls.

I know it is only day three but I am feeling very good. Just wanted to share.

I do tend to weight myself daily but not as an obsession over the lbs each day but to make sure things are overall trending in the right way and not the wrong way.

so far...4.2lbs down.

You all continue to be an inspiration and hopefully one day I can inspire new people too!

well, I weighed myself and my loss was not as good as I wanted it to be. I weighed myself of 1/1 , fully clothed after I ate lots of carbs with TOM and was 312, now 303. I really thought I would be under 300. In reality I did not lose that much.
I know 9 pounds is good, but I was naked this time dammit. lol. and it is water weight
Ok, going strong into next week.
I need to have patience , please lord .
Can I ask if you guys weigh daily or weekly? I wonder if I should do daily and challenge myself everyday here?

Well, my first 1 lb loss overnight since the beginning. I'll enjoy it today but have a strong feeling it will go up to maybe 191.2 tomorrow. Not sure why but a whole pound in a day is not my normal and I didn't do anything different so we'll see!! Good luck to all and may today bring you joy as well.

Feeling very tired today. Had girls night out last night and all I ate was celery, red peppers and pepperoni. I was so good. I did have 3 glasses or diet soda, but all in all I was on track. Don't know why I gained, but so did hubby. Oh well. Now to shake off 4.5 hours of sleep and get the day going.
