D: 4 ribs in a heavy sweet sauce and a piece of turkey with a small glass of white wine. Now I'm getting some water in.

Welllllllll... my day is over, officially, and about to go to bed. I will not have a loss when I wake up, and expect a gain of at least a pound or two. I started off with the best intentions today, but caved pretty hard tonight. I had a pecan oatmeal cookie, a handful of white chocolate pretzels, 2 pieces of peppermint bark, and a bit of some toffee caramel corn, and a hot buttered honey wheat roll with dinner. I have to say it was damn good BUT I know I will pay for it. I have been feeling really down emotionally, and I just couldn't resist anymore. I'm hoping to be back on plan strong, and finish out the month with at least SOME loss.

Ava; NO worries just get right back on plan. have to enjoy life now and then.

I am back on plan, eating was a treat this week and I did all I could to make sure I gained about 10 pounds. I did stay away from cokes and that is about it. Oh well back on plan today. Up about 9 pounds but I know that is mostly bloat. Will be working out tonight and getting ready for the trip coming up monday.

Then I passed on the stuffing, brocolli, rice and cheese casserole, applepie and mashed potatoes Yesterday and Still im Up in weight! I guess I Did lose a bit but wth!? I So wish I knew What was going on!
Going After Christmas shopping today with 2 of my SIL's my MIL and the kids today. I need new clothes for Church etc and honestly would rather go Back to bed!

I'm no doctor or trainer but like I've said to you before, it really sounds like your body has found its comfort zone and doesn't want to lose any more weight. It is clearly fighting you. We're not 25 anymore, we've given birth and we're getting to an age where the body wants to hold onto more weight. The only thing I could suggest at this point would be some exercise, well more than you're already doing. You probably don't have any "excess" to lose hence your struggle. That may increase your scale weight a little but will change your body shape and tone! I don't understand why you are killing yourself emotionally over 5 or 6 lbs. You look amazing and except for the grief and anxiety you're placing on yourself, what is the problem with a few pounds?? We all have goals and maybe some are 8 -10 lbs more than what our bodies are willing to give up? Stress causes weight gain ..... you should not be feeling this way considering all the work and effort you've already given this.
Hon, please enjoy the "more beautiful" woman you have become!!!

Merry late Christmas. Was so busy and so tired I didn't care much about food. My dad has become very ill and could barely walk. He fell and got hurt as well. I don't know how much time his has, but it scares me to think I might lose him. And what to do with my mom? Oh well, up but made a promise to myself to start the new year and be good.

Shelly: I kinda have to agree with Bonny, This just may be your spot. But hey keep trying, I do not want you to leave us. It will prolly take some serious exercise to lose more. Or tone up with some muscle.

Bonny: You always seem to put things in perspective.

Well so far so good on the restart. I did however do and espresso. So busy trying to get ready for the vacation I have no room for being lethargic. used splenda for sweetener so no carbs added. Come on Monday. Made it through with the inlaws, DW birthday tomorrow and we seem to be doing ok. My gut is, that it will not work out but we will be great friends after the initial pain of break up. Going to enjoy the possible last vacation together and Cayman is a great place for it. I am sitting in a Panera bread waiting for my boss!!! Not the greatest place to be for a restart, but he is not on a diet!!! I ate extra egg and bacon this morning knowing I would be here, so will stay focused.

Just a quick note, will post more this afternoon, but I wanted to say that Missy you look AMAZING! You should be very proud of yourself! WTG!!!!

Shelly, Bonny Jean does have really great advice. I would suggest getting your new scale, meeting with your endo next month, and in the meantime, maybe just focus on maintaining. You look amazing, you're healthy and thin, don't beat yourself up over those couple of pounds. Maybe just focus on maintaining until after you meet with your endo, and then if you really want to, you can do a super strict induction for a couple of weeks. That's just my 2 cents though. I know we all have goals that are important to us and I understand that too.

Kemp and Mthergoos: Thanks for the acknowledgment and vote of confidence! IMHO, I really believe you have to have your head and heart in this as well and I might be the Queen of exceptional slow weight loss but although I get disappointed with the slowness of my own personal loss, I know I have to keep my emotions in check or I'll be right back where I started. It's hard, yes but we have to look ahead, beyond today!! All my blessings that you all keep smiling and plow thru the hard, frustrating days. Tomorrow MAY be the best day ever, you never know!!

Thanks ya'll! I am Not going Anywhere! I Promise! Pinky Swear even! Lol! I'd be lost and back up to 207lbs without ya'll! I guess i'm just ARGH!!!! I know i've got excess flab etc that Needs firming so maybe if I can focus More on getting rid of that i'll focus less on the number on the scale!?
We hit some of the sales today, bath and body works was Great! Love that place!! And managed (with my SIL's help) to find 3 pair of 7 for all man kind jeans that fit Awesome and are Cute! Size 6! So I can Not b*tch to much about that! Lol!!! Hit Starbucks on way home, sil had a gift card and I got SF so Hopefully it won't hurt me but Man it was Goood! Now to activate my DD new phone and rest awhile! I Definetly got my walking in today

I can feel the love all the way down here in Houston. Just got home and accomplished the goal of staying on plan all day. I have dinner tonight with the inlaws and DW for her birthday which is tomorrow. Yes she got robbed born two days after Christmas. Oh well. I did however drink a that double espresso and by God I was hyped all day, and was never hungry. I may have to rethink my caffeine strategy. LOL Glad you had a great day Shelly and again MISSY you look great, you should be proud of yourself. I guess I still owe you guys a photo of myself.(but seeing as I am not longer running it will not be in tights!!! LOL) Will take one down in Cayman and send it your way. Hi Everyone! Well I made it through the holidays! No cheats. Haven't weighed, I kind of like staying off the scale for a week or so and seeing a nice surprise when I get on there.

I attached a photo of my daughter and I in front of the Christmas tree. She's the one that has lost about 150 pounds and ran a half marathon in November. She's dead set on me running with her next year, so I better get my butt in gear!

I'm really looking forward to a great new year with all my friends here! It's so amazing to think that at this time last year, I was 300 pounds.

Well had a couple of beers at dinner. But stayed super lc all day so a good one. Just trying to maintain till Monday. I tried on all my beach clothes and they fit except for one pair of shorts will not make the cut. So over all even though I did not make goal, I made it into the clothes I wanted to wear. And they are even a little loose. Wish i would have done measurements. Only 3 days to go.

Where is bulldog???

Gained a couple pounds after the Christmas cave in. On the bright side, I shouldn't be swimming in temptation nearly as badly since the holidays are coming to a close. I'm hopeful for a more productive January.
