Trying to stay focused. I'm sad that the scale is going in the opposite direction though. I haven't changed anything. I haven't introduced new foods, or new amounts. Hoping something changes soon.

Avaleigh... sometimes s**t happens. There's nothing we can do about it. You have to know that it will come off if you just stay true to it. I just had a one pound up, my first in 3 months and yes, it's discouraging but just look forward to tomorrow or maybe the next day. It's very unlikely that every morning is gonna be minus. You've had an incredible downward loss so far so I wouldn't sweat the odd little blip. I'm quite sure you'll be smiling in a day or two.

Ava: I measure once a week but your idea of once a month is much better. I have a hard time avoiding that scale and measuring tape. It's like crack, eh. You just can't say no!! I'm sure if we only weighed once a week and measured once a month, we'd all be a little happier but I for one cannot!!

My dd has her school Christmas party today and then out of school until January 6th. My dad had his primary doctor checkup after being out of the hospital. I am so *pissed*. In the hospital the docs all said every test showed up normal and he had a great heart(I was there when they told him). The primary doc from what my mom says read all the reports from the hospital and his heart rate was all over the place while in the hospital and that the cardiologist noted that he would need a pacemaker. So, I don't know what is up. Someone is lying. If they noticed heart issues in the hospital and noted he needed a pacemaker but didn't tell him or do anything, wouldn't they be liable if something happened to him when he left? That's how I feel anyways. He goes to the cardio doc on the 30th, so I guess we will know more then.

Missy: Just went through all this with my dad. Doctors are just that Doctors, who have to be in check. They hated me by the time we left the hospital, but when you walk in and see 3 saline bags on your dad and his legs bloated you ask questions. Three doctors ordered saline and the nurse just did what he was told and my dad almost drowned right in his own bed. Crazy. So just keep asking questions and get every medical record each day. Make them make you copies if he goes back in, it keeps them in check and makes them actually do their fricking jobs!!!!

Shay: Just get right back in there and keep going, just a blip in the radar.

Shelly: Coming back down again way to go.

Ava: Just stay the course. It will come back down. But yes dang scale can make us mad. Hope the measurements are super and make you super happy.

The party was a success. I however was not. I am still in ketosis some how. I had 4 mini meatballs, a bite of crab cake and 4 full strength delicious beers. Not low carb beer that is for sure. But this morning was still peeing purple and was only up .2 on the scale, so I am going to call that a big ol win!!!!! The stats:

Missy my FIL has had heart problems about all his life, he got a pacemaker about 13 yrs ago. I am sorry that the Drs can't seem to figure out What is true with your dad! Ugh Drs! Was the Dr in the hospital a Cardio dr? I would suggest having him seeing another heart dr if ya'll are still concerned. A primary Dr isn't really trained to read all those tests. My husbands Dr saw his primary Dr last week because he has LUNG problems and was hospitlized a few months ago. Well this primary Dr says he needs to see a HEART Dr cause there's something going on with his LUNGS! Umm ok and he kept asking a Heart Dr for my Lungs? And she kept saying Yes! So he goes to the Heart dr like she said and that heart dr was Floored by the primary dr refering him to Her! When he Needed a pulmonary Dr! Idiot primary Dr to say the least!

Just a quick stop in. I'm so sorry to see some struggling with the number on the scale. You all are doing great so don't let the scale number ruin your holidays. I'm still blissfully ignorant. I won't weigh until Wed or Thurs. and then its time to face the music and get serious. One more batch of cookies to bake for Santa and then the kitchen is closed. Christmas shopping is Done! Got groceries too and enough stuff to make 3 Brocolli, rice and cheese casseroles! Plus a LC cheesecake. Soo glad to be Done though!

Off to San Antonio this weekend. My cravings have been crazy for some sweets!!!! So as to not blow my whole plan this weekend I went and got some sugar free candy. I am going to just eat what I want of those so I do not order a banana split the second I get to the sports bar tonight with chocolate shake on the side. Hope to keep it together but the stress is getting heavy with the DW and I hope this weekend turns thing around. Will most likely not be checking in at all over the weekend so you guys have a good one.

Pc and Gypsy way to go on the drop. Bulldog hang in there girlie we are almost there.

Shelly, I wonder what's in that candy that doesn't agree with you?? Ever check the label?? Obviously it's not sugar. Hmm?

Food today on plan:
1. 2 scrambled eggs
2. bacon wrapped filet mignon

OFF PLAN:
1. thimble sized chocolate
2. forkful mashed potato with crispy onions, 1 oz bernaise sauce
3. piece of ham loaf (bff swore it was real ham) NOT!

I have no one to blame if my scale goes north on me but I'm still hoping it wasn't enough to show!! Wishful thinking, I guess. LOL

Whew... only a .1 gain since yesterday's little diversion. Have to stop that!!

Dec 2nd- 143.8 probably due to me being
So hungry all day yesterday!
Dec 3rd- 142.4! Yay!! Praying it Sticks!

Dec 5th- 141.6! Thank you God!
Dec 6th- 143! Knew that SF lc candy
would get me
Dec 7th- 144.4! Crud! I Never wanted to
see 144 Again! Didn't even eat sf candy

Just got back from dropping my son off at the school to take his ACT test! He was Nervous so i'm nervous For him!
I don't know what i've done to my back but omg i'm in Pain! I guess it's Fibro related but i've never had This before. I'm getting spasms that if I move wrong it just Tenses up and Hurts! So much so my stomach hurts and gets upset. I do Not have time for this!

Forgot to weigh this morning. Last night was my lowest nighttime weight though, so I am pretty sure this morning was the lowest morning weight... I usually loose 1-2lbs going potty in the morning easily. I have been a good girl drinking my water

Has IF low carb pizza last night with sausage, hamburger, bacon and onions <# ...breakfast today is eggs and sausage patties and some bacon. Lunch today is some revolution rolls + beef sandwiches....and dinner is eggplant parmesan per DH's request.

Last of the Christmas shopping is getting done today - I just have a giftcard to pick up and a couple things at the hardware store for my FIL. I spent yesterday "shopping" with my DD - we really just had a fun girl's day out and didn't get too much shopping done lol

Bonny I had to quit the sf candy! For one thing it was getting outta hand! I couldn't leave it alone and the gastro results were Not good! Lol
As for the recipes I either google or go to Linda sue's low carb blog. She has Incredible recipes!

Remember how I said I was going to California and I had just finished induction? Well I fell off hard. Gained everything back then a few. But I restarted yesterday and I'm doing fabulous.
My only toughie is the sugar craving is stronger this time around. I'm determined to do it this time!!!
