Way behind this morning. So will catch up later today with everyone. Welcome new people. My DW told me last night that she does not know if she wants to be married anymore, so dealing with that. I did not break and go off drinking and eating which is a shocker, even got up this morning and worked out like normal. We decided to work on it. We are such great friends neither one of us wants to hurt the other. But I am pretty dang blind sided and very hurt inside. Sorry to drop that this morning. I know this is a weight loss site. But trying to stay strong and not get off track with the weight loss. Nice guys finish last is what they say. If we do not work out I will need to be in good shape to get back in the dating pool!!!! LOL Like I said we are great friends and still going on the couples weekend this weekend and then to cayman next week. So Merry Christmas to me!!!!!!!!! Just trying not to derail right now. Thanks all you guys for the support. Oh and I am down another half pound today! The stats.

Well doing good over here. Hubby back on board, thank goodness. He got so frustrated because none of his work clothes fit any more. So day 1 for him yesterday. It is a lot easier if he does this with me. I am on board even if he is not so I am hoping to rub off on him Being very strict is helping.

Kemp stay strong. I've been there, done that and came out strong on the other side. I know its hell while you walk through the fire and especially around the holidays. My ex and I broke up on Christmas Eve. That was an awkward Christmas. I'm glad you guys are good enough friends to work on it.

Omg Kemp, I am so sorry. I know it hurts more than anything to be blindsided by it. Do you think maybe it has to do with you losing weight? What I mean is - is she scared that she will lose you because of the weight loss and she thinks if she says she wants out first, then she doesn't have to worry about losing you to someone else. You know her best, but maybe she is becoming a little insecure seeing how focused you are and how well you are doing. Hopefully the couples weekend can reunite the sparks between you two. I know we can't be 'there' for you, but we are here for you.

Ok ya'll I almost didn't post this morning because i'm embarrased and ashamed. I did this to myself. I am my Own worst enemy! I was out yesterday shopping and had a coupon for free chinese. Yep I stupidly let those inner demon thoughts tell me that I deserved a treat and Chinese isn't THAT bad! Welp you can see that Yes it was that bad! I need a kick in the butt! I can NOT let myself listen to those inner HC voices anymore or i'm going to be right back at 207 lbs!
I am dealing with all of this myself at the moment. I sabotage myself too. Usually I'm good, but this month I am horrible. I ate a brownie last night after being good all day. I'm refusing to weigh because I don't want to have to come here and let you all know just how bad I've been. We can do this! One more week until Christmas. I found a picture on facebook that had me laughing because it describes me perfectly....sad to say. But I hope it makes you laugh too, even if just a little bit. We'll get back on track.

Day 6 here.

Breakfast today is fried eggs and ham.

Lunch is leftover chicken hindquarters.

Dinner is italian marinated pork chops and steamed broccoli.

Snacks available are cucumbers and green/red bell pepper sticks.

Kemp, I'm sorry to hear about your situation. But it is good that your dw is talking to you and you are going to work on it. So many people sit in silence until it is too late to do anything but walk away. My dh and I have 17 yrs separating us so there is an age gap like you and your dw have. We have had some major ups and downs in our marriage. There have been times when I was ready to walk away. I still have days when I wonder if this is what I want. But we take each day one at a time. Hopefully with these upcoming vacations, the two of you can rekindle that spark that you once had. And you are right that something like this can completely derail you from focusing on your health. So proud of you for not letting this stop you. Sending hugs and prayers!

Welcome to the newbies!

Lots of great losses today! Keep up the good work!

MissyDee, so glad your dad is back home and doing well.

Dh had his hernia surgery yesterday. He's doing well but I'm tired. We had to get up really early for the hospital and I haven't had a chance to slow down. One week before Christmas means parties, baking, shopping, visiting, errands, etc. I can't wait to just sit with nothing to do. I'm still not doing that great with eating. But I'm not going to be super strict until after Christmas. I already know that I can't keep the crap out of the house at the moment, I can only hold out for so long before cheating and beating myself up won't accomplish anything. Once things settle down, I'll really have to come up with some sort of maintenance plan. What I'm doing now wouldn't ever work.

Shelly: Your human, it happens, you back on plan and posting you are great and will be fine. Just a small blip on the radar.

Bulldog: Hope your dh is doing well. I am so proud of you for keeping up and posting and letting us know what is going on. You are super strong and will get through. Proud of you. We will kick it in December together!!! Oh and the post about 1/2 of Africa made me laugh very hard and out loud!!!! I really needed that.

I'm seriously not beating myself up. I'm just accepting that things are the way they are and its my fault for not doing anything about it. I'm okay with this for the moment. I will get back on plan completely in a week. But that picture was pretty funny. LOL

Welcome to our group!
Kudos to you for starting Induction during this "tempting" holiday season. Stay strong. You can do it. With my first child I gained over 60 lbs and was over 215 lbs. After a 2nd child, I still kept on the weight and 2 years later, was 200 lbs. I was 200 lbs in August and now I am 155, with a goal of 150 by December 31 and 140 in January! I have had to stay strong since hubby eats whatever he wants & is a solid 180 and 6'2. making foods for my 2 and 4 years olds & bring tempted to eat their treats or leftovers...going to all the kids parties with all my favorites...cookies & cupcakes...I had to Be really strong & get back on track, when I did give in. this group is great for advice & support. You can do it.

Kemp, you know this isn't just a weight loss site. We actually become friends and come to rely on each other. So of course we're here for you as much as we can all be with the distance that separates us all.

I haven't been weighing much this month. I'm not cheating, still completely on plan, I just seem to be not as obsessed with the scale this month, which I'm very thankful for. I test my blood ketones, and I know I'm firmly in ketosis, and whatever the scale says isn't going to change what I'm doing one way or the other, so I'm just staying on plan, and not stressing too much over the scale. Hopefully when I finally do get on it, it will be done a couple of pounds and I'll be happy. I'm just so thrilled to be only 37 pounds from goal. I never thought I'd be that close!

Shelly, just get right back on track. Little detours are fine, as long as you don't let it throw you off completely, and you aren't doing that. Just hang in there and keep doing what you're doing.

BulldogMom, I'm sorry you're having a tough month, just keep in mind that this is just a few weeks in the grand scheme of things. This month is over halfway over.

Gypsy, your losses for this month are so impressive!!!

Right back on track today! Bacon for Breakfast then went and helped my FIL make a porch swing out of the most Beautiful old barn wood! Gorgeous! Then had to run to town (again!) because my DD decided she Did want to make goody bags for her friends for Christmas! So I ran by the local sub shop and got a salad. Soo good! Now i'm going to wrap a few presents and do some Ab work!

WHAT?? I had a REALLY BAD TYPO in my email from this morning !!!!!!!
here are the real stats:

December 3: 136.5
December 10: 138
December 13: 139
December 18: 135.75

Finally! I have been strictly on plan, but eating a wee more than usual the past few weeks, and a few more vegetables (cauliflower and brussels sprouts) that I probably should have, but this morning, after weighing, all is good!

Dq:Way to go on the drop. I love brussell sprouts and plan on eating some soon.

Just got home, heel feels a lot better today so going to try and run in the morning. I have a 6 miler scheduled so we will see. I feel, well blah but still on plan 100 percent. Not going to change any eating habits till friday night will add a few drinks.

Hello everyone. My scale is going the wrong direction so I need somewhere to be accountable. Actually, I just looked on *** and I'm exactly where I was on December 1st but I've been up and down. So here I am still at 150.4. I had hoped to be down to 146-147 by mid month. Too many business parties, lunches, dinners. You all get it. I've been back on induction this week and hope to have a good run though the holidays. I think all of the occasions exceptvChristmas are over.

I'd like to hang out here please.
