Thanks for all of the support! I've only met my MIL once and the kids have never met her. I think all of us here are more upset for my dh than our MIL. She's a good woman but has been battling cancer and when she dies, she won't be suffering anymore. Even though we can't be with my dh, he has a large family up there for support. We still don't know if he'll be home for Thanksgiving, but I have my family here so the kids and I will be fine.

melmis, I make my own salad dressing. I take the hidden valley ranch dressing mix and mix it with 1 cup mayo and 1 cup hwc. Since it comes out more like a dip, I'll add some olive oil to give it a thinner consistency.


Laura, congrats on the boots! And yes, you'll be in the 180s soon. We seem to bounce around with the same numbers. I think we both got stuck in the 190s for over 2 months.

Shelly, beautiful chest! You are so talented!

Trinigirl, I hope you can take it easy and get that asthma under control. I used to be a respiratory therapist and this was always a bad time of year for our asthma patients. Thanks for the prayers!

melmis, magnesium tablets have helped keep me regular. I think a lot of people here use them on a regular basis.

I ate a banana almost feel guilty for doing so.... but I have vowed to eat two a day and drink a protein shake for a few days and see if I feel better... I do have a doctors appointment in the morning... got in really fast... which is good... Also got a call into my gastric bypass doctor office, will have to have a referral to go and see him, but letting them know what is going on.... the banana did sooth my stomach some...I also brought some tums and pepto at the store...

ty you for all the prayers and get well wishes.. hopefully I will find out whats going on soon

mycattaz, I wouldn't stress over the banana. Right now, you have to do what you have to do to get through, and tomorrow the Dr will hopefully get you some answers. Just take care of yourself!

Pcaltman, yes, I would bet money that it's the ham. I've definitely noticed that when I eat bacon, I'll retain a little water the next day. So don't stress on it. It's completely on plan, it's not throwing you out of ketosis, it's just causing a little water retention.

Melmis: Are you taking anything for the constipation. If you need suggestions just let us know, we have plenty of them. Constipation is a problem on this WOE till your body adjust, some adjust easy some not so much.

Mycattaz: You do what you have got to do as far as food, your health is the most important thing. Keep us posted.

Run is done. Core muscle exercises done. 800 calories burned. Have time today so going to go back to gym and do weights later today when the DW goes after work.

Mthrgoos yep got new battery. DH says it's weighing Ok by him. So I don't know wth is wrong. Other then probably my thyroid levels being off again! Freezing tp death today! And Starving!
Mycattaz I don't remember any excess gas with my ulcer but I do remember the pain! Felt like a burning awful feeling like something was eatting my stomach lining! A Lot of rolaids helped but nexium finally healed it. I hope your appt goes great tomorrow and they can help you feel better! And don't worry about the banana right now. If it helps you feel better eat it!

I had some cheese and turkey roll ups alittle while ago and my stomach is back to hurting.... the banana did sooth my stomach to my surprize... so I will be having another one as soon as my food digest... My gastric bypass doctor office called and she said it sounds like the aspirin may have caused some problems... agitation of some kind... she called me in two prescriptions and told me if I was better in a few days to call back... I will go ahead to the doctor in the morning and get the referral going and also get some much needed blood work done...

I did some research on the banana and it seems its good for the stomach lining.. also good for stomach acids.... right now I feel bloated and hurting and like gases are bubbling in my stomach... the pain is mostly where my stomach would be but I am very uncomfortable... Plus I didn't drink my coffee today so I have a headache... lol... really I don't complain much

My DW got me something a few days ago after I got back from my mini trip. It is a device that tracks all my steps, stairs climbed, etc. It also tracks my sleep. I enter my height and weight, and a couple of other stats and it gives me a total of calories burned, stairs climbed, miles traveled, how many minutes I am active and sleep time. I love numbers so this is a awesome tool. Over the last few days I was surprised that I am burning between 4200 and 4700 calories a day. It does not use heart rate so when I am doing weights or running it just counts it as walking, so my numbers my be higher. Anyway I figures out why I lose so fast and that I may not be eating near enough. I am negative on the calorie in to out by 2600-3200 every day. They say that you lose a pound for every 3200 calorie deficit. It is even better for us when in ketosis. Thought that I would share that with you. Every time I mention a name brand of something on this site I get zinged by the site administrator so if you want the details let me know. I do not sell them or anything. She just got me one due to the fact that I love numbers and this puts me in number over load. I think it is a neat tool for dieters. Anyway check back in later.

sorry for not posting recently. i had to put my cat down over the weekend and i just haven't been in much of a good mood. I've managed to eat well despite but i have missed a couple days on the scale. went to personal trainier again yesterday and my arms and legs felt like jello after. Course my knee is bothering me a little now. But still at it!

Sorry for not posting much lately. I can barely keep up with reading everyone's posts. Everyone is doing great. Congrats on the boots Laura! Shelly, your cedar chest is beautiful!

I'm doing well, but not great. Not losing the way I'd hoped but staying steady. Hopefully will have a nice loss by the end of the month. Haven't weighed every day but it's been fairly steady when I have. I have a day or two of great focus then a day of less focus. Trying to do better this week. One day at a time!

Hugs to everyone! You guys are motivated and doing great! Thanks for being my inspiration! Even when I'm not posting I am reading and you guys often keep me on track!

Haven't weighed every day but it's been fairly steady when I have. I have a day or two of great focus then a day of less focus. Trying to do better this week. One day at a time!

It sounds like you are still doing good! Don't worry about responding. I'm only able to come periodically throughout the day because I'm a stay at home mom.

hello everyone!
I've just been working way too hard lately.
Tyl i'm sorry about your cat. It is way too sad to lose a furry friend.

I haven't weighed cause I've been just so busy - retaining water.
we're ordering pizza - i usually get a meat-lover's pizza with extra cheese and black olives. I just eat the toppings, and not much. yay.

Now i go to work.
AND guess what I have a new boyfriend and this one is a keeper!
