thanks Kemp and Bulldog... its been a long road... its funny how when you weigh 416 and you can't even imagine losing 100 lbs and 200 lbs seems impossible... you feel like you will never get there... and now I am so close I can almost see the light at the end of the tunnel... people are already saying I am skinny and I am wearing smaller and cuter cloths then ever before.... when you look from waist up I am a skinny person.. but its the bottom half of me that is really going to need some reconstruction.... I always carried my weight on my hips, thighs and calfs... all my dresses would have to be larger on the bottom that made them huge on the top half of me... and I have a hard time finding womens jeans that fit me... I have wore mens carpenter jeans for years... well since 2009 anyway.. good news is that since I started wearing them a size 46 I am now wearing a size 38 that is exciting in itself... I actually feel skinny .....lol... tempted to go and buy the next size down.... cause I know it will not be long before I am in them... Sorry for the long post... but it feels good just to talk about it to someone... for along time I didn't like to talk about my weight at all.. thanks for listen everyone of you are a great support to me and my journey...

new goal 145, (still on induction)

oct.1 150.8
going to really try and smarten up this month!

so.....i guess since i have been gone so long i will just use my oct. starting weight, rather than try to find my last post....but i think i was about 152.....anyway, nov. is always a hated month for me, but i seem to have gotten over the worst of it now....was derailed by annual wine tasting at work in late oct. had 2 big dinner parties, a birthday one for the dh, and one where i cooked for old and new chef...so i have had about 6 days of off plan eating...and of course have been depressed about son moving to the uk....

anyway, now i have been sick for almost a week with stomach issues, so am finally gonna try and stop the s/f chocolate and peanuts....

nov. 19 ~151.0

Bonny-Jean, I agree, God bless the people who do so much for animals in need.

SkinnyB212, all just water weight. You can get that off in no time!

Trinigirl, glad induction is going well. You are doing great!

Avaleigh, you're doing great! I don't think coffee is bad unless you're sensitive to the caffeine. I find that it helps me stay on plan.

Shelly, glad to see the scale drop for you again. I know its maddening, but hang in there!

PassionateFire, love the dogs and I LOVE the name Cujo. That's hilarious! WTG on the fat loss!

Kemp, woohoo! You'll get back to where you were in no time!

mycattaz, you are doing great! Congrats on hitting 235!

Dh is going to gone indefinitely. His mom is battling end stage cancer and now the doctors have decided to just offer pain management at this point. So its just me, the kids and the animals. The dogs earned their keep last night. A solicitor came to the door last night around 8 pm and when I didn't answer the doorbell, he started banging on the door. Our new guy didn't like that so both dogs ran to the door barking but slid on the hardwood floor so they ended up crashing into it. The man must have though a herd of rabid elephants was trying to get at him. LOL If that didn't scare him away, momma has a gun so all is fine. I did get a good laugh though.

** WHAT YOU EAT IN PRIVATE YOU WEAR IN PUBLIC !! **

Sadly, we cannot fool the scale, no matter how we try to rationalize our "cheat days". When we go off plan, we will gain weight.

So now I have to work harder to burn off the calories from the nuts I ate!

Attached are some motivational quotes that keep me going.

I will be 160 before Thanksgiving!
We can do this!

Trini thank you.. almost made me cry writing it too

Bulldog so sorry about your mother in law... I know what you and your husband are going through it so hard to lose someone so close to you... prayers for you and your family... also thank you for your encouraging words... just everyone hang around till January... I am going to make it

Pink are you eating vegetable? I was having alot of problems with vegetable that I never had problems with last week...

Skinny so true with the sign... I use to hide food... one day after a very long cry I told everyone in my family my faults and that I didn't want none of them to say a word to me if they seen me with candy or chips or a coke... no matter what I was eating no one was to say a word to me... the good news is I stopped hiding... and if someone did give me a look I would remind them... I was hiding because of all the comments and all the bad looks... I would buy a bag of cookies... OREO's my favorite, eat the whole bag and buy another bag and replace it and take only a few out so it would look like I ate only a few...haha... ok funny now... Or buy a 6 pack of candy bars and eat them before I get home and litter the road with Hersey bar wrappers... I was so bad its a healing process we all need to get to at some point.. I guess I had hide food all my life up till the day I say no more...

Oh my goodness! So much to catch up on!! You guys had a busy busy weekend!

First of all, if you get a chance, look up the Rock n Roll Marathon in Las Vegas. That's what we were at this weekend that my daughter and her husband were running in. OH MY GOODNESS!!! So much insanity and craziness and so very fun! There was a whole class just for people that were running dress as Elvis! It was great fun for us just watching! My daughter and her husband ran a half marathon, so 13.1 miles. I'm so very proud of her! She's lost 150 pounds through clean eating and exercise and is now running half marathons! I have to say, it even made me think about running! Of course, I figure if I wait long enough, that feeling will pass.

I seem to hanging tight at 197. I was worried about getting stuck at 200, but instead I seem to be stuck at 197. Oh well, I'll just keep hanging in there and see what happens. I had my 6 month checkup today for the cancer, so I'm hoping to get my results from that soon. The Dr. did say that I have a bladder infection, which is odd because I don't have any pain. She thinks it could be a complication from my surgery in July that is causing it. So she has me on antibiotics, and then I have to go see the Dr that did the surgery next month. I'm really going to be mad if those antibiotics cause me to gain weight!

I love all the puppy photos! Laura, it's so very sweet of you to help your friend out by keeping her furbaby for her until they find a place!

I have to say, walking around Vegas all day is SO much easier with 103 pounds less to haul around. It's just amazing! And I did stay 100% on plan while I was gone, it's so easy to eat out and just order a steak or a burger.
