2 cups of heavy whipping cream

Mix on low till it slighly thicking...... I break it down into 6 servings.. so the carb are very little... He also ads alittle whipped cream to the top... its wonderful... I let him have that I will stick with sf Jello

Shelly: Great attitude. Cheating was a thought for ten seconds, then I was like just work harder and it has to come off. When you are peeing dark purple even when super hydrated it just has to be water weight.

Welcome Kateo!

Shelly, you had a little loss! - .2 is a step in the right direction.

GFY Passionate!

Tyl good luck.

It will go down Ava and Julie, give it time.

Kemp, do you think it might just be new muscle causing the weight gain? You do work out SO MUCH! You have got to be building more body muscle which will weigh more.

agreed... that is what I try to keep in mind when the scales are not moving... any kind of show on the sticks mean you are in Ketosis... so the scales eventually have to move... just hang in there Shelly

Kemp - you know how I love you, but be nice to yourself! You're down 7 pounds in less than 2 weeks. That's 1/2 pound per day! And really, really AWESOME. I've read on here tons that people sometimes "stall" and drop inches and then the weight loss picks back up too. So truly, I wouldn't change a thing. You are on a roll and don't want to mess that up. But if you do your weight-buster plan for today, be kind to you tomorrow. No need to rush too much. You're already losing FAST!!!!

MyCattaz - I love how you have your husband on plan with you. That must be so fun and such a bonding experience. You're weight loss is such an inspiration to me!

Bulldog - those 180s will be yours soon!!! I know it!! What's your menu look like?

Tyl - Your weight is going down FAST! Great work! How was the trainer? I used one over the summer and loved the results I felt in my body.

Had a good night last night. Still fighting off a nasty cold. It's been rough. The cold snap that moved through made it hard to breathe this morning. I think I need lots of rest and a vacation! Today's menu looks pretty boring. Lots of eggs, meat, cheese, and coffee w/ cream.

Mjgh06: It most likely is. I am working out very hard. But thought that it would still just fall off or stay the same not go up. I have calmed down now. I just hate that I get so worked up over something that in the end is good for me. So I am still going to beat myself to death in the gym today and on the running track. I had that planned already. It is finally cool here in Houston. High today is only 58 which is awesome running weather. We are all such dedicated dieters here that I do not want to believe that the upped calories is the cause, but I know deep down that I am still not eating enough considering my workout schedule. So going to stay the course and see what happens.

Mycattaz: Thanks, all is well I am calm now.

Amber: Thanks. I am just going to work out hard and eat normal, well maybe 1600 instead of 2200 just for today. I know my body needs at least 2200 plus calories a day without a doubt. Sorry you have a cold and a vacation is always needed. Just book a trip so it is out there and you have one to look forward to. I leave for cayman in 47 days and would like to lose at least another 35 pounds that would be awesome but will be happy with 25. I think that is doable for me considering the possible "PLAN ALTERATIONS" over the holidays. LOL

THANKS GUYS FOR ALL THE KIND WORDS I NEEDED THEM THIS MORNING BEFORE I HEAD OUT. Speaking of which I am out the door to get oil changed for my drive to the ranch friday morning and then to the gym to workout and run.

.
you body has to have time to adjust... I don't like it, but it does usually if you are not losing weight, you are losing inches... I have found that true with me.. and also lately with Dh... so neither male or female are immune from it... He went over a week where he lost nothing.... not even a ounce and he was getting so mad... but then he went and tried on smaller cloths and realized that the close he had been waiting to get into were to big... that was a boost... Now he is getting better at understanding the concept.... so many give up when the scale don't move and that is sad.. cause they are just a few days away from seeing a whoosh on the scales... I always say this.... but it worth repeating....Measure, Measure, Measure....cause if the scales are not moving the inches are dropping... or in some cases when you work out, you are building muscles (KEMP)

Passionatefire: Way to go on your weight loss. And up in lean body mass. That is awesome.

Trini: Good luck over the next 3 days, they will be over before you know it and the weight will be lower also.

I am pissed this morning. Just venting. I work at this way to hard. I have never shown a gain over two days in a row and that is just what has happened. Up over a pound and a half in the last two days. I guess I need to work out more and cut the hell out of my calories. I was really enjoying eating over 2000 calories the last few days but man I paid for huge on the scale. So today is a double workout day, 4 mile run with a chest and tricep workout. I am going to add and extra 45 minutes to an hour of abs and core exercises to try and brake this up tick in the scale. A three hour workout today should get things moving in the right direction. Only eat about 1200 calories today and then the body has no choice but to lose some freaking weight!!!!!!

Now that I got the vent off my chest. I am hoping that it is just some water weight to repair muscle. I am super sore this morning from yesterdays and the day before workout. I am going to do my stall buster today(or weight gain buster i should call it) and hit the gym super hard and only do very few calories. Heck I am peeing dark purple even when I am peeing crystal clear, so super hydrated. I just don't get how I could gain????? My stats unfortunately:

NOVEMBER GOAL…. 240

Nov. 01…255
Nov. 02…254
Nov. 03…DNW
Nov. 04…251.8
Nov. 05…251.2
Nov. 06…251.2
Nov. 07…250.4
Nov. 08…249.6
Nov. 09…248.4
Nov. 10…249.0
Nov. 11…246.4 (nice whoosh!!!)
Nov. 12…247.0
Nov. 13…248
Its frustrating to see a gain, but I'd bet you anything its water weight. I can't explain it in the best scientific way but from what I understand, when your muscles are burning up the glycogen stores, those spots are temporarily filled with water. And then it'll eventually release the water and you'll get a whoosh. As much as you are working out plus lifting and you being a man, I would not decrease my calories. It could backfire on you. You are really doing well so don't let this discourage you. What is happening is GOOD! Don't change anything, just be patient.

I didn't realize you were in a fibro flare. If you have inflammation, you know you'll be retaining water. How long do your flare ups usually last? Sorry you're in pain. Don't change a thing, just be patient and take care of yourself. Once you get past this episode, your body should release some of that water weight again. You know you aren't eating enough to cause the gain.

Bulldog - those 180s will be yours soon!!! I know it!! What's your menu look like?

QUOTE]

I am bad in that I don't measure anything. I use my scale as a better measurement of what my body can handle. I'm a boring eater, but I choose my veggies from cucumbers, cabbage, pumpkin or lettuce. I only eat about a cup at lunch, sometimes I'll have a little bit at breakfast too but that's rare. But yesterday's menu was:

breakfast: cup of coffee w/ splash of EAS carb control protein shake
2 boiled eggs and 2 slices of bacon on 2 cups of lettuce with home-made ranch dressing

lunch: 1 1/2 cups Carolina style bar-b-que (vinegar based instead of tomato based sauce)
fat bomb
cup of coffee w/splash of hwc

dinner: steak w/ horseradish and mayo dipping sauce, fat bomb

late night snack: two deviled eggs and a fat bomb

Bulldogmom it depends. Sometimes a flare can last a day or two and sometimes a week or more. Unfortunetly when I see that L on the weather map for Low pressure I Know i'll be hurting! Plus it's Cold today and yesterday. Morning low of 18.
Believe me ya'll i've caved before and ate carbs in the distant past when i've gotten frustrated and all it did was make me Gain and take Forever to get back off! I guess i'm very carb sensitive so i'll just keep on keeping on my LC and not give up! Thanks for all the support! Ya'll Rock!

Good Morning Everyone! Wow, there's so much going on here today! Down a pound today, so I'm down 103 pounds, with 47 to go. So weird to think that I have less than 50 pounds to lose! I know, that's still a LOT, but considering where I started from, it just doesn't seem like that much.

pcaltman, I'm sorry you're having a rough day. Sometimes when everything else in life is out of our control, our eating is the one thing that we CAN control. (((HUGS)))

Shelly, I'm sorry you're having a rough time! I KNOW that you're working so hard and that the scale WILL go down again. I'm sorry, I forgot who said it, but were you going on a strict induction this week?

Laura, You're doing so great, and I know that you're getting frustrated, but a new decade is coming your way soon! How's the place shaping up? Is your furniture all in place and assembled?

mycattaz, thanks for sharing the mousse recipe! Have to try that for my BF!

Kemp, it's all been said, but you are ROCKING it! You know that all those workouts are making your muscles retain water and it will go right back down.

bulldogmom, a new decade is headed your way. You know it is! Stay the course and know that you're doing the right things!

Pcalt - I'm there with you with lots of life stressors going on. I hope you know you're not alone and we'll get through. ((((Hugs)))

Bulldog - have you tried to track the calories at all? I only ask because it may be a touch high and if you make one little change, like removing a fat bomb, you may fly into the 80s. But all in all, your menu made me HUNGRY. It all sounded divine.

Skinny - I like the quote about lapping everyone on the couch. That's soooo true!!

+1 for the calorie counting - we were told in the seminar last night to not worry about calories UNLESS you hit a stall. I would recommend having an idea of your TDEE though so you don't drop the calories down too low.

Thanks! I haven't tracked calories yet because I was running everyday and I was pretty good with how much I was eating. Three fat bombs a day is unusual for me but we were pretty active this weekend and I've been ravenous. I found that I'm better off limiting my protein portions than I am when it comes to fat. I'm trying to follow the rule that your meat portions should be the size of the palm of your hand. We'll see if that has any effect in the upcoming days. I've been eating the whole steak. I also need to cut the dairy out completely. I've done it before, I just need to get my focus back.

UGH!!! Wouldn't you know it. I've been waiting YEARS to go ziplining over Fremont Street in Vegas. I've always been too heavy, but I'm FINALLY ready to do it. My daughter is running her first half marathon in Vegas this weekend, so we have a whole weekend planned of it. My niece is even coming out and we're all 3 going to zipline. Just got on line to check prices.....AND THEY'VE CLOSED! They moved to Colorado! There is a new place opening up, but not until December or January. So bummed!!!

That one does look AMAZING, but unfortunately we won't have enough time to do that one! I booked our hotel right on Fremont street so that it would be convenient and easy! LOL

Shelly, I usually find a few days of just eggs, beef, and my fats will get things moving again. It seems to get rid of some of the excess water I may be retaining. Just a thought if you get really really frustrated.

Bull dog: Thanks for the support. I am not changing a thing. It is just water weight, it has to be there is no way I can gain any fat peeing dark purple even when super hydrated.

PC: HUGS to you sister I hope it all turns out well.

Mothergoose: Way to go on another pound!!!! You will be at goal in no time. So motivating to see you getting it done. So sorry about the zip line. It is as awesome as you think it is. You will get another chance somewhere. My DW and I did it last year in Costa Rica. It was awesome. Being 700 feet above the ground with one wire holding you up is exhilarating. Next stop when I get about 30 more pounds off is Skydiving.

Thanks to all for letting me vent this morning and keeping me from doing stupid things. I am not going to cut or change anything. I did hit the outdoor track for a 4 mile run, followed that up with some chest and triceps, then some abs and core exercise. That totaled about 2.5 hours of working out for a 1500 calorie burn. Now if that does not move the scale in the morning I will be shocked. If it does not move, then I will just keep at it!!! Going to have to give me a whoosh eventually.

Bonny-Jean, I keep meaning to tell you how much I love your avatar. We've had our lab for 2 1/2 wks and we're in love already. I don't know much about the breed and he isn't what I thought he would be. He's a clown trapped in a dog's body. LOL
Thanks BulldogMom.
Yeah, they tend to hang on to the "puppy" till they're like 4 or 5 so be prepared!! Isn't he handsome. My Buddy. He's my 4th lab since I was 19. Although my other 3 girls were purebred, he was my first "pound puppy" and turned out to be my shadow. What a character, as most Labs are. I can't imagine life without a Lab. Alas, my boy left me last March at 11 yrs but what wonderful memories I have. They are such awesome dogs, not all perfect of course and you'll never have to dust another coffee table with that tail. LOL.
You will get much love and laughter from yours... I guarantee it.

my workout was a killer and i'm feeling sore already. i used all sorts of things i never use. for example, those rope things you see on biggest loser. He made me do jumping jacks with those. I used some machines i would never used and i lifted heavier than usual. At one pt i asked, you want me to use THAT weight?!? i did planks and mountain climbers on that little half ball board thingy, and a bunch of other things i can't describe and dont know the names for. I got my butt kicked! And I liked it!
