Trini: I can post form there. They have lap tops. Will post daily to keep myself on point with the food. Thanks for having my back. I have to run 5 miles the first morning there. It is a little hilly but not to bad. They have a 1 miles long asphalt landing strip that I can run up and down, so that will work. I refuse to lose to the food!!!!!!

Heading to the gym to do a biceps and back, then 30 minutes of core exercises with some ab work. So they will look good in about 6 months when the fat is all gone.

Hey everyone. Had a long weekend full of family visitors and lots of activities. I didn't do so hot on the eating front. But, I'm solidly back on track. I checked the scale and am up just 2, so it could be worse. I had a rough week mentally last week with everything going on in my personal life, and the weekend just was like a final straw of stress. I'm glad it's all behind me and I have 2 solid weeks to be good before Thanksgiving.

Today's menu:
B: coffee w/ cream; marcona almonds
L: taco salad - lots of yumminess on this salad
D: eggs and bacon

Everyone here is doing so great and it's such a motivating place to post!!! KUTGW EVERYONE!!

My God man, you make me chuckle! Every time I read the daunting work outs you put yourself thru, it just boggles my mind. Where you get the time and that discipline is beyond me? OMG, I'm just how the heck does he do that? You deserve every bit of loss you work so hard for. Congrats again. You are quite an inspiration. YOU ROCK.

Bonny-jean: Thanks a ton. Means a lot. I do not know why but when I am dieting I am hitting the gym. I love it. I tried to split workouts but to get to the gym twice a day is tough. So I am stacking the workouts, with my running being the number one focus. Weights second. So I run four days a week and do weights 5 days a week. Of course stacking weights on top of runs. When I stack the weights on top of the runs I do not do as much heavy lifting because I am just plain tired. But I need to work my b muscles so I do not lose any body mass with all the running. Oh and losing a pound a day does not hurt the motivation. Some days I am at the gym at 5 am if there is a chance I am going to be super busy. And of course I do not have any kids yet, and i say yet. It could all change when they arrive. Sorry so long winded but I love talking about working out as you can tell.

I love reading what everyone is doing. I think dh and I will be getting T25 for our Christmas present to each other. But running/walking on the treadmill is still my fave because I can zone out while listening to my music. I saw the dr today about my foot, so hopefully within the next 2 wks I can take my runs outdoors with the dog. Those 5ks left me feeling like the treadmill hasn't really done anything for me.

Your all doing great, I'm just starting off again...LC from Heller's Want to look better for the Holiday's and know I can do it without starving. I love all your quotes and using "Nothing will taste as good as being fit is going to fell" I changed it a bit because being thin is not my ultimate goal but being more fit certainly is...Mid sixties only needs fit. Thanks for continued support...we will succeed together...I can feel it already.
Now at 136...have to at least down to my former starting weight...

"D" is dear so dh=dear husband, dw=dear wife, dd=dear daughter, etc. T25 is a workout program. Its pretty tough but gets results.

Laura: When the scale wont budge I go back to a firm VLC for a few days. Meaning no veggies just meat and that usually gets thing moving again. I was up today a little bit and although probably was not the half avocado I ate the other day. I for sure did not have one tonight. But hey it is all about the long haul so no worries it will come back down.

Welcome Kate.

Had my weigh in last night before the nutritional seminar. I really miss the morning weigh-ins, I know the end result will be the same but I hate seeing the higher number the end of the day gives me.

Last week:
Total weight - 197
Lean BM - 117
Fat Mass - 80
Fat % - 40.6%

This week:
Total weight - 199
Lean BM - 125.6
Fat Mass - 73.4
Fat % - 36.8%

Even though the scale is up almost 2 lbs (I think this is PMS related though) I'm down 6.6 lbs in fat and up 8.6 in lean body mass.

I have to admit we both are a good support for each other... now that he is seeing the results he goes on and on about not going back... He is determine to reach his goal... He will make it before me, He only needs to get down to 216... and he is not to far away from that... it truly does make it easier when both people in the house are watching what they eat and doing lc..

I make him a moose for dessert... when I make it , it makes about 6 of them... I divide them up into 6 containers for portion control... He loves having his dessert at night and still being able to lose weight

Ava: It will come off just stick with it. I am having the same problem today.

ShellY: I feel the pain of weight today I am pissed beyond belief.

Tyl: Good luck today with the workout. It will help for sure with your goals. I am a big workout guy as you can tell from my post. Let me know how it goes.

Passionatefire: Way to go on your weight loss. And up in lean body mass. That is awesome.

Trini: Good luck over the next 3 days, they will be over before you know it and the weight will be lower also.

I am pissed this morning. Just venting. I work at this way to hard. I have never shown a gain over two days in a row and that is just what has happened. Up over a pound and a half in the last two days. I guess I need to work out more and cut the hell out of my calories. I was really enjoying eating over 2000 calories the last few days but man I paid for huge on the scale. So today is a double workout day, 4 mile run with a chest and tricep workout. I am going to add and extra 45 minutes to an hour of abs and core exercises to try and brake this up tick in the scale. A three hour workout today should get things moving in the right direction. Only eat about 1200 calories today and then the body has no choice but to lose some freaking weight!!!!!!

Now that I got the vent off my chest. I am hoping that it is just some water weight to repair muscle. I am super sore this morning from yesterdays and the day before workout. I am going to do my stall buster today(or weight gain buster i should call it) and hit the gym super hard and only do very few calories. Heck I am peeing dark purple even when I am peeing crystal clear, so super hydrated. I just don't get how I could gain????? My stats unfortunately:

KateofCarolina, Welcome! Glad you decided to join in!

PassionateFire, You're getting great results!

Bonny-Jean, I keep meaning to tell you how much I love your avatar. We've had our lab for 2 1/2 wks and we're in love already. I don't know much about the breed and he isn't what I thought he would be. He's a clown trapped in a dog's body. LOL

mycattaz, Got a recipe for that mousse? It sounds so good!

Trini, you are doing so good! Don't work too hard!

Tyl, good luck with the workout! I know if I don't hurt afterwards, I don't think I've done enough. You're doing great with the losses!

Shelly, do you think you've hit a set point and your body is just being extra stubborn about anymore losses? I'm wondering if that's where I'm at now.

AvaLeigh, you'll hit that 30 lb mark this week. Congratulations!

Julie, the scale will move downwards again. You're doing awesome!

AsmallerMe, glad those rough weeks are behind you. It isn't easy to stay on plan under stress but you did great!
