Tiggy: OK, I am never hungry. I snack all day, I will eat up some more fatty foods. I track everything I eat about 110-170 grams a day in fat. Protein it is said, to build muscle that you need one gram of protein per pound of weight you are reaching for. I am reaching for around 200 so I eat at least 200 grams of protein everyday. Sounds like you know your stuff so will add some calories into my program. I will just have to change from chicken with skin, to ribeyes with extra fat. I do not mind that at all!!! LOL Thanks again for your advice and knowledge.

Ooo bring on the ribeye! And some coconut oil, fat bombs or whatever else you enjoy! Give it a week to see how you get on. From what I've read is the idea to convert your body wholly to running off fat so as long as your protein is enough to keep your muscle mass and your calories enough to keep you going, you should be burning mostly stored fat for everything else which will be great for your training. Read Low Carb for Performance to get the science behind it all for your training side of things.

Oop better run, have an hour before the gym and want to finish reading my new book!!!

Have a great day - will be thinking of you and your ribeye! I had some iberico ham in so made a spanish salad with lots of olive oil, white wine vinegar, grated manchego cheese and topped with the proscuitto and black olives - yum!

well, this morning my sister did not go with me to do our WA.... so I went and did one hour & 10 min... then Miss Mary's WA class was going to start... so I stayed and did it..... wow - was tired - but a good tired... so I did 2 hours and 10 mins of WA ...... Miss Mary's class is a lot of stretching with her aerobic workout... and that is good because I not do that in my WA workout - I do my weights, leg exercises, wind sprints and aerobic workout... so it was good to mix it up today.......

I still want to do my walking DVD... will see how I feel in a few hours

I had to eat today:
B - eggs, sausage, bacon and hot tea
L - Rotel special - cucumbers and radishes
for D - will have some crab legs......

hope that everyone has a great week........

Pawleys: Sounds like you are on track and getting it done!!!

Tiggy: Going to up my calories and see what happens.

Just got home from the gym and did a 3 mile run and some leg weights. at about hour and 45 minutes into workout I just pooped out. But did burn 1052 calories. So that was good.

Any good ATKINS friendly recipes for the holidays? I'm new to the LC diet & could use all the suggestions possible! I'm not much for sweets anyway, but just looking for any ideas that would be good for me and my family.

You may want to check out food porn. It has tons of recipes from all kinds of different people. I think it is in the induction part of threads.

Tiggy:Stayed super low carb and added calories over the last few days and added 1.5 pounds of weight to my body. Experiment failed!!!!!! But thanks for the advice, I think my theory of calories in to calories out was working great I have no idea why I changed it. I do not want to starve my brain. So back down to lower calories, if you think I did something wrong let me know.

well, did not go and do my WA this morning.. just way too cold so got to sleep in a tad..... but I am hoping that I will go this evening for the Zumba water class...... gosh 1st time I have missed my early morning WA in about 5 weeks....

I stayed the same today because I ate more than my 20 carbs yesterday.... do not know why... was hungry... maybe because of the cold weather...maybe because of all my energy... just do not know why... but what I did eat was healthy... so maybe that saved me..... LOL

back on track today.... will not eat off point today...... guess we all have those days......

everyone have a great day.... and if you are in cold brrrrr weather... keep warm..
