Another pound down today! I don't know why, but I'll take it! The only thing that I'm doing different this week is that I've been having eggs for breakfast instead of bacon. Actually, I've just been eating eggs and some cheese during the day and some beef every night for dinner. Obviously my body is liking that!

Yup Shelly, count me in for that too. No periods, but still my body runs on the same cycle as though I'm having them.

Hey guys, I am back for another try. Keep getting side tracked by life. Hope this time it sticks. Glad to see everyone here and all the new people. Look forward to getting this weight off. I feel absolutely terrible being this heavy. Going shopping tonight and getting prepared for the first two weeks.

Okay so I totally screwed up and had a binge but I am back on track. I went from 156 to 161 but today I am back down to 159 and my legs are extremely swollen so looking forward to dropping some water weight that I am holding onto.

Its safe for you to weigh now Shelly. LOL We are going to be applying to adopt a chocolate lab. I talked to the head of the rescue and she says we sound perfect. I'm anxious though because it means allowing an outsider to come in and analyze every aspect of your life. Growing up I felt like people (family) were extremely critical of me and its something I haven't gotten passed. The anxiety would have me eating, so I have to find another outlet. But hoping this guy will be a running partner for me and a buddy for our bulldog and girls.

Thanks for the welcome guys. Looking forward to losing some pounds. So today is day one!!! Not looking forward to the withdrawal but it is a necessary evil. Did not get to do shopping last night due to DW working late. Only have eggs in the house that are on plan so that was breakfast. Glad to be back.

no loss for me this morning, but up a few ounces... I ate alittle bit of roast last night and soon as I took a bite I tasted the sodium, so I knew I was going to be up.... Oh well it will come back off... still hoping some how I make my October goal.. need a whoosh.... 7 more lbs to go... still claiming my 8 lbs gone... cause I know the extra ounces are just from the sodium...

Going to make some Lc chili today.... any idea's...... want to do it with beef since that is what I have in the house... maybe alittle onion, tomato, and some chopped smoked sausage... trying to figure out what to do without beans.. I love chili.. its one of my favorite... and its cold enough outside to really enjoy it now

Love Chili! That sounds Good! I usually add some chopped onion and a bit of Garlic to my meat when I cook it. I have No idea how many carbs are in it but it doesn't seem to bother me as long as I don't eat the entire pot Lol!

Back on target. However my body likes 163, it always comes back to 163 for the past 2 years. Everytime I decided to try to eat without following any plan, I hit 163, then I get mad and binge, gain more weight, then start a new "diet", lose weight, get off the "diet" go back 163 and it starts all over again. I don't like my body at 163, the proportions are wrong at that weight. I like the way I look @ 150 now, and I think I will really like it @ 140. That's my pre baby weight.

Has anyone broken past the number that thier body likes to return to? Or maybe I am just weird like that...LOL

BulldogMom - We have a lab / Am Bulldog mix. He is the sweetest little boy. I got him after my oldest male dog died (we have 5 dogs...I know...crazy). I needed a new running partner. I'm sure you will do fine on the evaluation. I love running with my dogs, I feel invincible

Mycattaz, I love chill also one of my favorite s to feed a big family..I cook the meat add homemade tomato sauce then remove what I,all eat and add the beans for the rest of the family.

Thanks Trini, really appreciate the encouragement and to know I'm not an oddball, which is okay....sometimes!.

My MIL thinks 140 is too small, however, I don't. My body has changed since Ive had chilldren and the proportions have shifted from the top to the bottom. At 140 before, I looked like the letter P, but the boobs are gone now, and it all went to my thighs. Hate my thighs so much, the bain of my existence!!!!

Thanks everybody! The application has been filled out and sent. I am a nervous wreck.... you would think I was adopting a human kid. LOL I don't know how fast this process is but hopefully it won't take too long.

Mthrgoos, WTG! Meat and egg days have always done wonders for me. I only eat veggies when I feel like it or I don't want them to go to waste.

Christina, glad you're back on track! Most of us have cheated at one point but you get back on plan and carry on. You'll be fine!

Kemp, glad to see you back!

Shelly, when I weighed this morning and saw that I was down, I knew you'd be safe. LOL Hopefully we keep seeing that scale go down. I'd like to end this month with a good loss.

mycattaz, I'm glad you know what caused the gain. I used to freak out but realized that sodium gets me too. The extra water weight will fall off in no time!

trinigirl, you are doing great! I hope you're able to get some rest in. I know how busy you are and yet you still make sure you come to support all of us. Thank you!

yeagerdee, awesome job on the drop! For a long time in my 20s, my body loved 163 also. I just wish it would work a little faster to get there now. LOL I've never run with any of my dogs. We never had any that were built for running so this will be a new experience for me. I'm excited about it until he decides he wants to run in the rain.

BulldogMom, Good luck with your new baby! I thought about getting a lab when we moved to the lake, because I've always heard how much they love the water, but then I discovered that our Pitties LOVE the water too! LOL

Trini, BulldogMom said it so well, even when you're not feeling well you're here supporting all of us! You are so very very appreciated here and I hope you know that. Getting back to induction should really start things moving for you again!

No loss today, but that's ok. Not really sure I can break through into Onederland this month, but if it doesn't happen this month, then it will happen next month. It WILL happen. A few years ago I did HCG, and I got down to EXACTLY 200. Then I went on my usual trip to see my kids and grandkids in November, stayed on plan while I was gone, but came home and got depressed and was missing my kids, and ate my way back up to 300 pounds. Now here I am, almost back to 200 and getting ready to make my November trip to see the kids and grandkids again. I am DETERMINED that this will not be a repeat of what happened a few years ago. I will stay on plan, and I will continue this WOE and continue to get healthier and get to goal. Today marks exactly 8 months on plan for me, no cheats, and 96 pounds down.

I spent all day yesterday cooking! I love getting into the kitchen on my day off!! I don't eat most of what I cook, but it's for my BF, who is doing Low Carb, and is only 5 pounds from goal. I made this super yummy Mock Mac n Cheese with Ham Casserole. Instead of the macaroni, you use cauliflower. It was super cheesy and he loved it! I also made a chocolate mousse pudding that he loved. I've never used spaghetti squash before, but I made a spaghetti squash and meat sauce recipe in the crockpot that turned out pretty good too. Being able to try out new recipes and find ways to keep it interesting and still low carb is definitely a key for us being able to stay on track and continue to eat this way permanently.

That's funny! The brown and white one especially LOVES the water. We take the boat out and beach it in a cove for the day, and she'll spend the ENTIRE day pacing back and forth in the water and chasing the fish. We have to make her stop eventually because she won't stop. She'll completely wear herself down chasing the fish because she loves it so much. I never knew pits could be such water dogs!

Yep, but I had Breast Reduction, so mine was on purpose. Now I need everything to match.
