Yummo! I made homemade pizza tonight while we're watching the Football game. Daughter went with her BFF to a haunted house lucky kid! Been busy All day cutting, splitting and stacking firewood, we heat with wood so it's a Big chore getting all this done and ready for winter! But worth it.

[QUOTE=Trinigirl;16649921]Happy Saturday,

October 2nd 143lbs
October 3rd..143lbs
October 4th..142lbs (again)
October 5th. 141lbs
October 6th. 143lbs yoyo dancer.
October 7 th. 143lb still bloated.
October 8 th. 145lbs
October 9th. 145lbs
October 10th. 145lbs
October 11th. 144lbs this is the right direction.
October 14th. 144lbs doing well considering my medication, stress level and lack of sleep..
October 15th. 144lbs
October 19th. 143lbs.
October 20th. 144lbs
OK enough is enough, got up this morning and I hovered between 145lb and 144lbs, so I've decided to go back to Atkins Induction, I have to get to my goal weight as well as get my body well..still not feeling better, my lungs are till not clear, till on too much medication, not enough sleep or water..need encouragement to continued on this journey, I guest like many people how have reached their near goal weight it's easy to be a little too lacked with what they put into their mouth..so wish me luck guys..clean unfiltered food.

Laura, I think you should consider writing your own Low carbohydrates cook book, using your own life story about your journey...you are an excellent cook..with a wonderful practical ideas, and you are the proof that it works..from your amazing wight loss, to all that glorious hair.

1Moregin, sorry to read about your phone but congrats on the drop..so even with a bad week you are doing really well

Mycattaz, I'm so happy that your husband has seen how well he is doing in the form of inches, even if its not registering on the scale, now it should be a bit easier as he is on board fully with you...congrats also on your losses and sticking with your eating plan and exercise and keeping on even when the going gets tough..

Hi Shelly you are I were doing the same chore yesterday, my husband and the two boys were chopping the wood and my daughter and I were stacking.. we still have more to do..husband and the boys are off early this morning to clear some dead trees..we clear for the wood..so it will be cutting and stacking again next weekend. Congrats Shelly on being so very close toyour October goal I am so very happy for you.

DQ happy that your feet are back to normal, what are konjac noodles?

Bulldogmom, I've been catching up with your post, I'm so happy that your baby is much better you are doing so very well, l'm so very very happy for you..

Mthergoos, Congrats on your amazing achievements, you are so very close to your onederland, I am happy and thrilled and proud for you..

Pink I think of you every day, I know how difficult this is, when we made the decision to move here to the farm, our two older boys were teenagers and were attending one of the very best high schools on my island, they did not want to move here, give up school and friends, after a very long and agonizing thoughts, we made the decision to leave them with my parents and they would go to school there..spent every holiday with us here..believed me we racked up the air miles...it was only for three year in total, but very hard three years, then they move back here with us, but then university but we saw them most weekend..then after my second son completed his masters in education and could only land supply teaching jobs he decided to go to flight school, became a pilot, and was offered a job flying with Caribbean airlines and so he move back to my island, so it was hard again at first..but the perks are great for him..he see my parents and flys here at least five times a month..and still spends his vacations here on the farm..he is here this weekend hauling wood so I know how hard this is for you..I still cry every time my older boys leave that Never gets easier but now you get to fly and visit a new and interesting country..

Have a Wonderful Sunday everyone

I did start my own blog. That's a good start. Maybe someday I'll have the time to write a cookbook. I only have so much time left after all the hours I work. I'm tweaking recipes right and left though and saving all my notes.

Thanks Trini .... its much easier when he is doing this with me...

Laura I kinda twiked my recipe to go with what I had in the house...but it was so good...

as for me I am down another lb... 242 this morning... 8 lbs from my monthly goal... and 26 lbs away from losing 200 lbs... Now how awesome is that I remember when I first started looking at 200+ pounds to lose seem like imposible.. but Now I am only 22 lbs away from doing so.... excited.. I really believe when I reach 200 I am going to go and see a plastic surgeon and get ready to get some of this extra skin off... I feel like I am for sure ready with my arms... and I can see then how much more he wants me to lose to start with the other.... it would be awesome to get down to 200 before me and my husband renew our vows... time will tell... have a blessed Sunday everyone

Had a great time at the hockey game but ended up eating a slice of cheesecake afterwards. Dh and I were celebrating our 10yr anniversary early since our hockey team will be away next week. Yesterday was a busy day of fun things so gaining a pound was worth it. Back on track today!

This is hard for me. I hate my picture being taken but I'm starting to realize my kids aren't going to have anything if I don't suck it up and just do it. The first picture is in April right around the time I started LCing. My cousin took it from a distance so I had no idea she was snapping photos. It bothered me for the longest time because she also put the photo on fb. The second photo is from last night.

Trinigirl, I hope you can get yourself feeling better soon! I'm also betting you're going to sail through Atkins Induction.

1moregin, Congrats on the loss! You are doing awesome! Sorry about your phone.

Laura, I bet you'll have a lot of people reading your blog. I'd like to fix LC meals for the family but don't always know where to start. I just keep my meals as basic as possible but no one else enjoys that.

That's great start Laura, I think if you write your book, you'll have to retire from that job, since you'll be doing the talk show circuit and you'll be famous...and I'll tell my children..that lovely lady is my friend

I second shelly, bulldogmom you look GORGEOUS!!!! pretty soon you will LOVE having your picture taken and you won't try to hide behind your purse! heee

trini- konjac noodles are made from the root of the konjac plant -- which grows in Asia -- glucomannan is made from it, and that is the best thickener I've ever used.
"noodles" are made from the root - they are kind of rubbery but not too bad if you haven't had real noodles in a decade (hah!! yes!) I think that netrition carries glucomannan and some of the konjac pasta/noodles. I have bought them bulk and they've lasted forever without being refrigerated (check that they aren't the tofu noodles --which are similar but do have some carbs and calories).
I usually rinse them Really well (cause to some people they have a little smell) - then put them in a saucepan and heat until I can get as much water out of them as possible. I usually add grated parmesan and a little cream, maybe some pesto, and a little butter. yum! (for what it is!)

Bulldogmom you are rocking it! Your pic is wonderful, yer beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Trini I'll have to get ya'll to write the forward to the book!

mycattaz a good recipe works with what ya have. Otherwise I wouldn't have half the recipes in my cookbook.

I think I have a recipe addiction.... is there a 12 step program for it? I have a 4" binder as a cookbook, it is currently holding 5" worth of recipes. Yet I can't stop looking for new ones!

BulldogMom, you look gorgeous! You can see such a big difference in the 2 pictures, you should be VERY proud of yourself!

Trini, I hope you get to feeling better soon. You're just working so hard and not getting better as quickly as you should be! (((HUGS))) Going back to a strict Atkins Induction should work great for you! That's pretty much what I stick to, and I still have the crazy bounces and times with no losses, but eventually it starts moving down again.

mycattaz, I think I would skip the taste testing and just let them eat them however they turn out. LOL I'm so glad things are going well for your hubby! It sounds like he's becoming a believer!

Shelly, at least it was LC Pizza, so you know that weight will come right back down to where it should be!

I'm down another pound today, which puts me at 205.4! A full 95 pounds down!! Oddly enough, we've had to eat out the last 3 nights in a row, but I stayed on plan, no cheats. I still don't really trust restaurant food, but it must have been okay because the scale has been kind to me this week. Still 5 1/2 pounds to lose if I'm going to reach my goal this month, but we'll see what happens.

You look beautiful!
I also hate taking pix since I became self conscious with my weight. Now when I look back at my kids' baby albums I am not in any of them. I too am starting to get more comfortable taking photos so that my family will have some photos

Yes I think it would be a great idea!
We are all on this earth with a purpose and to give our gifts to others.
True happiness comes when we find our true purpose & are able to do it.
Laura, I think Trini is correct.
