That puts me below Octobers goal. Now if I can stay here for the month. And yes I got on the scale 3 times and then hurried up and hit the save weight! All I can say is the scale loves sleep!

I am still around... sorry I am not posting much.. the past few weeks have been a emotional roller coaster and I am so ready to get off...

the good thing is me and dh are still sticking with it despite all the ups and downs... I told him yesterday that I feel better physically then I have in a long time and the thought of eating chocolate or bread or anything with carbs scared me because I do not want to go back to feeling bad...

The past few days we are beginning to climb the carb ladder by adding a few vegetable.. and I a upping my fat intake... the weight loss had begin to really slow down.. but I got to really looking at it, I have been eating alot of turkey which I love and not alot of fat which I need to make this work for me...

Dh has been the hard one to push vegetable on, he is so scared he is going to gain back what he has already loss... Yesterday I made him a hamburger steak with just a few browned onions on top and took some asparagus and rolled it in bacon and baked it.. He loved it... hoping when he gets up the scales are still going down and I can keep fixing him legal vegetable...

I have only lost 5 lbs this month, so I have another 10 to go before October 31... so I need a big Whoosh...

taking my parents and my son to Gatlinburg on November 3rd for 5 days... might be eating alot of turkey that week... but I will not get off plan...

Oh by the way I got my bike it, it was not right, had to go and buy another one and I have been doing 40 minutes a day... also I have a stepper that will be here soon... will have to start out slow on it ....

Good morning everyone,
Well today is the official Thanksgiving holiday here in Canada, and my time for cooking and parties are over, today is clean up day, recouping. At my households we have much to be grateful and thankful for..our budget is always tight, but we are very rich in all the good and best things, our long, loving (even when I shout) partnership/ marriage, our four beautiful, bright, healthy, successful children and their wonderful friends, my parents my mother in law, close and extended family, lose friends, neighbors, business partners...good health..and most of all faith. I want to wish all my lovely supportive friends here a happy wonderful day..and to thank you all for always being there.
It means a lot to me..
Everything went so very well, the weather on both day was great, better on Sat than Sunday, but we had the big barn clean and ready, and the fire outside roaring..lots of food too many goodies, but I was really good you would have been proud of me, I know it was such a big change from the mindless eating of Easter..though your support, I've come a long way..I am so grateful and thankful for you all.

I finally got my cholesterol results back and everything is within normal range except for the LDL calculation. But after researching, it looks like its fine. So now I can go swim in bacon. Years ago my cholesterol levels were high so I credit LC for getting me back down to a healthy range.

Shelly, Don't sweat the gain. You look beautiful and had fun. And I know you'll hit goal again.

mycattaz, It doesn't matter how much or how fast you lose. You are proof that even during times of stress, you can maintain this lifestyle. I've used excuses like being too tired to eat right or too much going on to fret about my food choices. You and your dh are an inspiration and motivation for the rest of us.

SkinnyB12, Congrats on your loss! Were you the one who mentioned mixing your coffee with a protein shake? If it was you, I have to thank you tons. I switched from hwc to a protein shake and I believe that's why I'm seeing such good losses this month.

Happy Monday all. Today is the last day of my first week on induction. I was hoping to reach a 10lb loss the first week. I am close so we will see. I have been drinking lots of water trying to stay hydrated in hopes that I have lost actual fat and not just half water. I am happy with my progress thus far.

I have run in to small bouts of nausea and complete lack of appetite. I am making myself eat to avoid starvation mode. I hope I see more energy in week 2. Cutting grass today for exercise.....

Wow, congratulations to everyone, amazing October results so far!

I'm boo boo boo! Am so tired of yoyo-ing the same kilos, its really getting annoying. Down, then up, then down, then period, then way up, then a little down, then another period.... Arrrhhhhhhhhh

So decided to do the fat fast and started on Friday - umm, not sure how I did it the first time round. Have been so hungry and famished, have had to have a small meal each day to keep me going. Am trying to stick with coconut oil, cream cheese, macadamia nuts and pork scratchings. Gave in on Friday evening and had some lc chilli, same on Saturday (its only 5carbs so figured all was not lost) with some salami (the one with no extras like dextrose). Today's give-in was about 59gr cheese (1 carb) and some chicken stock (no sugar or yeast).

And what did I lose? Nada! That includes 45min a day on the cross trainer, two powerplate training programmes (45min) and some weight lifting. No inches lost either! I've been training for years so don't expect any new muscle.

Getting so frustrated as at this rate, there is no way my dress will fit in less than two weeks...

Mycattaz I slept for the first time in a week I really slept... works miracles. You and your husband are doing a great job staying the course. BTW my thoughts and prayers are still with you and your family. Hope your son loves the trip!

Fluffy try uping your salt a little. On low carb our bodies process salt differently. When I get muscle cramps or tired for no reason I up the salt and feel so much better. I think it has to do with electrolyte imbalance. Anyway give it a try and see if it helps you out.

yeagerdee stick with it, the weight will come off.

Bulldogmom I'm so glad your cholesterol results were good I know you were worried about them.

Trini your husband is a lucky man..... beautiful, smart and kind all rolled into one! You rock women!

Shelly don't fret you know it's coming right back off.

Trying to stay positive, at least my husband is losing weight, he has lost 13lbs. This is another reason why I don't like dieting with him. I believe I am ovulating so this may be the reason for the gain. I no longer have TOM, but I still get bloated. I prob wont see a drop till Wed or Thur.
