Well I ended up with the usual salad at Wendys and regreted it really quick! I kept staring at my FIL's burger! I could tell the salad had been made awhile so I just picked at it. I don't know Why I can't seem to make myself eat a bunless burger from a resturant! I eat them here at home! I am still hungry and So wish i'd just got the stupid bunless burger!

Shelly, I know, it's hard to trust that the restaurants aren't using fillers in the meat, but I know I've traveled a lot this summer and had to rely on the bunless burgers from fast food places more than I liked, but I didn't find that it affected my losses any. In fact, I've actually found that I lose better when I'm traveling and having to eat out for some reason.

IndieKim: I am going to try and attach a photo from a couple of days ago for our dove season opener. I am at max weight. You can see the cooler full of beer behind me. That was my last day of splurge eating.


Shelly:
Wendys and jack and the box are safe from extra ingredients in there burgers. FYI. I just avoid the cheese because I do not know for sure the carb count on those.

DQ:Those pants are awesome, I love them. As you can see from the attached pick I am into crazy clothes and hats.

Kemp, great pic! What size shot do you use for dove?
From what little I can see, the place where you're at in the pic looks a lot like the spot where people hunt doves where my duck blind is...big public hunting area about a half hour northwest of the city. Good fishing there too. Gotta love the hat!

I had no idea if my pic showed up or not...attaching photos on a message board can be tricky!

DQ, you're so adorable I swear though, you don't even look like you weigh 100lbs!! tiny little thing you! Love the pants!!!!

Shelly, I love Wendy's and will usually get a bunless baconator with the Caesar side salad. Yummy! Now I want one.......

Congrats to all of our losers! This is turning out to be a great month for our group! I won't be able to weigh for most of the month as I leave in a few days and will be out of town for three weeks. I should be able to stay on plan and keep posting though. I plan to carry Quest bars, protein powder and MCT oil with me to help me stay on plan when food choices are limited.

despite feeling blah, I had a good day today.... breakfast bacon and eggs... lunch had a little cheese...only because I sleep alot today and needed something quick... tonight I had a bacon and cheese omelet... it was good I am stuffed, trying to get my vitamins in... Multivitamin, Potassium, got to take my calcium here in just a bit... 2 bottles of water down and starting on my 3rd..... trying to get my body into ketosis so I will feel better and all the carb craving will be gone...

Hope to report a lost in the am...

Shelly I have also did the bunless burger and did just fine with it too.... DQ love those birthday pants ....

IndieKim: I use 7.5 shot. Good blend. that spot is on 110 acres about 40 miles from the house. It has a cow tank of about 2 acres that is super productive. We had about 35 hunters. It is a day lease that we get every year. Had tons of birds so it was lots of fun. I am going again next week, will be good to get out in the field in full blown ketosis and run around in 100 plus degree heat for 4 hours. That should take a few pounds off this big butt.

Well day 3 is in the books!!! Had smoked chicken legs and thighs with a couple of smoked baby back ribs!!! Man you can eat good on this plan. Made it through the kickball game tonight, yes I am in a kickball league here in Houston. It is really a drinking event with some kickball thrown in. Anyway I did not have a drink only water. It was hard but I made it home. Look forward to the scale in the morning after running around in the heat tonight.

I have never hunted dove, and am considering it this year. I can't tell from the pic - is that a 20 gauge? I have a 12 over-and-under...probably too much oomph for dove, even using small shot

Make sure you stay very hydrated if you're out there running around in that kind of heat!!!

SO, my gain was temporary. I'm back down again, yay!!!! 165.8 this morning

Indiekim: yes it is a 20ga, shot a 12 ga since I was 11 years old and did fine with it. Switched to 20 just last year.

Wow it is falling off quick. I love the first few days of this plan, seems to always go away so quick. I was in ketosis this morning, but still feel a little blah. I am going to try and hit the gym today so when all the water weight falls off I will be in the workout mode to continue the losses.

Heading to the Aggie game tomorrow "GIG 'EM AGGIES" See my boy Manziel light it up like the fourth of July!!!! The tailgate will be hard to stay on plan but I am extremely focused right now.

Mycatzz: I did a pound of Hot and spicy breakfast sausage this morning myself. I love having the left overs for snacking on. Not as much as the grease that I keep covered on the stove to use daily to cook my eggs in!!!!

You know you're a hard core lc'er when you get overprotective with the butter. Last night dh came home from work and put my Kerrygold butter on his popcorn. That's just wrong in so many ways. And to make it worse, he can eat like this and lose 2 lbs overnight. I made a cauliflower pizza and was diligent about measuring everything and only ate a 1/4th of it and didn't lose or gain. I overestimated the carb count to be 15 carbs but since I ran yesterday, felt it was okay to go that high. Onederland tomorrow?

Thanks for the tips! I need to get more shoes. I was fitted once and ended up with a pair of Brooks that were really nice. Part of my issue is that I'm wearing the shoes out faster than I'm getting them. I'm following a modified version of C25k. I can't run for a full minute yet....still at 45 sec run/1:15 walk. But my mile is now at 16:18. I'm in awe of people who do marathons. I think 5ks will be the longest I'll ever run. I don't enjoy running but I do like it if there is something to go along with it. In Oct I'll be running from zombies and going through some obstacles and in Nov, I'll be doing the Color Me Rad.

Thanks Kemp! I did see onederland for all of 2 days but I plan on staying there this time. I'm learning that I have alot of foods that stall my weight loss even though they're acceptable for other people. You're doing great with the losses!

I agree, cook up a bunch in the morning and snack all day... yesterday I made alot of bacon and boiled eggs and last night I put the bacon in a mini food processor and crumbled it fine and put 6 eggs in it and blended and make me a omelet.. it was so good like that I hope I keep dropping like you are nothing motivates me more then the scales dropping everyday
