Hi Everyone,
I have been lurking with occasional post here and there.. I have severe rheumatoid arthritis and am unable to exercise, currently filing for disability.. but I have to say to Kemp and Laura you guys have always been an inspiration to me.. Kemp back in march-april you really kept me motivated with your go attitude and Laura even when you only lost a few pounds a month you just kept it going thank you both for posting and keeping it open for us to see your progress..

Goals for this month, 140lbs..
Exercising and live my life to the fullest potential, making myself a propriety, health and well being..love, laugh,life. My oldest son turns 31, my third son turns 17. Where, did the time go...

September 1st 144lbs
September 2nd 144lbs
September 3rd. 145lbs
September 4th. 144lbs
Home a early from work, got up very early to make lunches for everyone then took our puppy food a run, he is running and I'm riding my bike..then off to work, but I'm exhausted..also started taking fish oil and a one a day vitamin and they really brother my tummy. Feeling a little rotten so came home but have a to leave shortly to go to another site.

Congress to all the losers I'll catch up with everyone later.
I love how active the thread has become, this reporting has been so good for me, it keeps me on my game..and my goals.

I now have 10 bottles of water enhancers on my counter. I blame Laura for my addiction since she mentioned that Dasani makes a pineapple coconut flavored one. Never mind I already had a bunch if other flavors already.

Thanks for the support, guys. I agree..it's the dedication and the motivation that I see in others that keeps me rolling. Just letting other people know that my work/home/work life is stressful helps me remember that I'm human too and that everyone has their ups and downs and strange difficulties. Yesterday, I applied for a new job for my husband while he was at work. Work was dreadful for him yesterday and so it was a definite necessity. Just knowing that we're taking the steps towards something smoother is a little bit of a weight off of my (our) shoulders.

While reading these posts about goal weights and weights before pregnancy and things, I realized that I have NO idea what my lowest weight in my adult life has been. I've been in size 18-20 (and upwards) since I started college in 2004, but I honestly can't recall what I weighed then. I don't recall ever being at a "healthy weight" for my height..but I saw the progression of weight gain begin in 2nd grade when my parents split.

I'm thinking since I'm so stuck in the lower 230's that I must have sat at this weight for a long time, maybe most of high school, and I'm assuming that it musta been around this number when I started college (and of course gained the freshman 15 and then some). But I realllllllllly don't know. It's so strange to think about. I remember when I was dating a guy in 2006/7 that I'd gotten down to 240 and was proud of myself. Then I sat at 265 for like 4 years. Then I flew upwards to 272 and sat there for a while..and I've been trapped in the 242-236 range for MONTHS and it felt like foreverrrrr to get the number to budge below 236. Now I'm sitting at 235, and I have a feeling it's going to be a forevvver feeling again. When I pass this "set point range" will it be faster weight loss again? Thoughts?

Do our bodies just stop losing when they want to? Sigh. Will i EVER get to onederland? It seems so so close and yet so so far.

Thanks for listening, guys. Still on plan.. Guess that's all that matters.

Since I'm avoiding the scale, I'm trying to find other ways to stay encouraged and monitor my progress. When I started in February, I was wearing a size 3X shirt. This is a picture I took this morning in my new shirt.... Size XL!

Kemp, Welcome Back! It's so great to have you back and motivating us again!!

Grateful, this whole adventure is about self discovery and finding what works for our own individual bodies. I'm sorry you're having such a rough time right now! (((HUGS))) The fact that you're staying on plan is so great though!

Trini, I know I feel a little nauseous if I take my vitamins on an empty stomach. Maybe if you take them right after you eat it will help a little.

Ugh! Trying (and failing) to keep from stressing out! My Husband has an awesome opportunity to go fishing in Minnasota with his best friend at the end of the month and we are Broke! He's been working extra hrs to try to save money but dang it's hard! Then on top of that our Son Has been nominated for the National Honor society! Which is Incredible and we're So proud of him but the stress of getting all the info gathered to fill out the forms is crazy! Makes me wanna dive into the freezer with the ice cream! I won't but dang! I need to take a Lot of deep breaths!

Shelly, your hubs is heading to my neck of the woods! Very cool! I live here, have my own fishing rod and tackle (ganked the tackle from the soon to be ex when he hit the road LOL) and I haven't been fishing in AGES! I hope your hubs can make the trip; a day on the lake with Walleyes biting can't be beat (except maybe in a duck blind on a fall morning...I'm a waterfowl hunter). Major congrats to your son on making NHS!!! that's fabulous!!! BTW I sent you a friend request on Facebook we are in a low carb group together there

MthrGoos you look lovely!!! The one sad thing about losing is having to say goodbye to some beloved clothes. The pants I'm wearing today refuse to stay up and I hate belts, so they're going to Goodwill this weekend. Hoping I can find them a size or two smaller because they're super comfy.

Danielle, you can do this! I think we all kind of go through that plateau'ing, some for a VERY long time before the body says OH FINE and gives up those pounds. I expect a tough 10lbs once I dip below 160, but we'll see. I think certain weights for the body are like a comfortable pair of shoes for the feet

Skinny, right with ya girl....do what's right for YOU and ONLY YOU know what that is

I Really want my hubs to be able to go on the trip since normally there'd be No way we could go anyother time. He's gone to Colorado hunting with his friend too in yrs past and Loved it! I'm Praying everything comes together so he can go on this trip too! I'm keeping myself busy to avoid the freezer Lol! Not really that tempted but that Used to be my Go-to thing in the past when I stressed out. I just keep telling myself that even If my son doesn't get the NHS this time it's still a Huge honor to be asked to apply for it. He is such an Incredibly smart kid! Blows me away!

Thanks ya'll! I stayed away from the freezer! Yay!! I downed some water and made myself get busy and Stop stressing! I've decided that if my son gets the NHS then it was Ment for him to, if not then it's an Honor to be asked and leave it there!
Kemp we are Big hunters and fishers here too! Can't wait for deer season to start and i'm hoping I can get out there for Turkey season this yr.

Genie sometimes our bodies put up a good fight, for me the key is just constant in my eating, I know the lost will happen for you soon..just stick with you plan, it might not reflex on the scale today, but I'm sure that the inches are shrinking..stay strong.

It'stime wow congrats on the drop way to go.

Oh Laura my friend you are doing it.. I am so very happy for you..
