MtherGoos I was so disappointed with it.. I told my dh when we left that from now on we will come after 5 so we can have better choices.... it was the first time since we started that we have been out.. more difficult then you think sometimes... but lesson learned.. I am just getting to where I just do not want to eat... I am staying hydrated some what cause my mouth has that nasty metalic taste to it and I am drinking to wash it away... plus the Power aid really seems to help with the headaches I am getting.... Not sure if I am just dehydrated or what, strange...

I had 2 egg with 1 piece of sausage this morning and had to force myself to eat it.. and didn't finish it... its 1 pm here and I still fell like I just ate..... so I know I do not want any lunch... Tomorrow will be two weeks on Introduction... looking forward to what the scales say at the two week point...


Dh didn't weigh this morning but will weigh in the morning... still pushing my way to onederland..

Getting worried. TOM should be next week or so. Ugh. Don't want to lose my progress. Any how. My boo boo bear (2yrs old) still has a fever. I'm not sleeping since I'm worried about him however, he's getting plenty of rest. LOL Taking him in today to dr.

Forgot my breakfast this morning so coffee it was. Ate a piece of chicken and cut up cucumber for snack already. I was starving.

L: the other piece of chicken and salad.
D: have chicken thighs in the crockpot today. Need to buy some veggies or something to go with them. or a ribeye steak I bbq'd last night with asparagus.

I need to keep losing. Everyone is doing so great!!! I'm back to my starting weight for the last 3 months. I need to end on a positive lose. LOL does that make sense. I got this!!! lol.

Luv I hope your little one feels better soon!
I spent most of the day with my sick Grandma. She is still having horrible stomach/colon pains from when she was so sick with C Diff. My Dad, Aunt and Uncle took her to the Dr yesterday and he put her on new antibotics and a pain med. He said if she were younger and stronger he'd suggest colon surgery but we all know she'd never survive it. The nurse at the assisted living requested that someone stay with her today since she was in a lot of pain this morning. I'm about the only one out of our Huge family not working so I got to stay with her. It's an Honor for me to get to spend time with that fiesty broad! Lol! Her minds as sharp as a tack but her body isn't. So lunch today was a LC bar and water. I didn't want to leave her to go get anything so I settled for the bar. Starving now! She seemed better when I left but I may be staying with her again tomorrow if she needs me. Meatloaf and Green beans for supper!

The first day off I've had in 8 weeks will be this weekend. Not only do I get the day off I get the entire weekend off. I havent' had a weekend off in over a year. The bad part of this, my bf was suppose to be here this week to spend that weekend with me, it's not going to happen. It'll be at least one more week before he can get here because of car repairs that need to happen before he comes. A bit depressed about this. At least it means I'm not very hungry worrying about when he's gonna get here. Oh well just needed to get that off my chest.

Well I have bronchial pneumonia, yes that what it is..the doctor said I'm a very sick girl and could not believe that I was working and drove myself to his office..he wanted to put me in the hospital... but I told him it was the females strength in me so I'm on very very strong medication..I think I've had this for awhile..but just getting up every day and working through it.. I'm still working..got to keep my part time job..at the newspaper.. my landscape business dries up in the winter months..o that almost 6 months without income..any way..that,s the story.

Congrats Shelly, for reaching goal for passing goal..we all know how hard you have worked for this..I'm trilled, happy and proud for you.
I,m so sorry that your Granny is back in hospital.. she is in my prayers..so happy you got to spend the day with her.

Laura I,m so sorry that you dear boyfriend will not be with you..I hope that you guys can work something out..car repairs hope you can still have the most enjoyable weekend, you deserve it having worked so hard and being such a lovely wonderful person..inside and out .

Another loss this morning Its been two weeks since me and my Dh has started Atkins introduction... and I am excited to say I have lost 15 lbs in two weeks... what a great way to start out. That leaves me 5 lbs away from my goal for September, I have 11 days to do it..... : I am hoping that the weight just keeps coming off and I will make it and then some.... crossing my fingers

Trinigirl, I'm sorry that you aren't feeling well. I hope those meds kick in soon!

This week has been surreal for me so sorry for not responding to everyone. When my dh works in D.C. , it happens to be in the same building as the shooting. There had been talk of him going up there but he's been too busy here. Thankfully all of his co-workers are accounted for and safe. Then last night, while watching one of my favorite shows, I realized that the show was on the murdered sister/aunt of the family I grew up with. I had a falling out with this family and haven't talked to them since '98. But I wonder if they knew an episode was made about the murder. I didn't know the girl but knew the impact it had on the family. So much to take in this week that it makes me realize how precious life is and nothing should be taken for granted.

Bulldog don't you just love it when you begin to lose and get up one day and the scale is stuck... stupied scales


I have a delima my husband is beside himself.... still no weight loss but a gain... well I put what he ate into ****** and he ate about 875 calories and 47 grams of fat.... I just cannot make him understand you have got to eat... He said he was full..but he skipped breakfast and lunch... and finally ate 4 rollups and then steak last night... that is not eating... I need to know how many grams of fat, calories he needs each day to jump start his weight loss.... before he throws in the towel

I'm happy to take a stuck scale over a gain. It only bothers me when it stays stuck for days on end or I bounce around for a long time. I ran today so it should move down tomorrow.

I sound like a broken record, but make those fat bombs. If he isn't hungry and wanting a meal, at least a fat bomb will give him some fat and calories. Tell him too that there is no option to quit, only the option of changing things up if needed. Rookie race car drivers don't get in a car and immediately win a race. They have to take a few practice laps and tweak the engine before they find whats going to get them the checkered flag. Same principle here. You know all of this, just got to find a way to help him see. You both are doing great!

I seem to be on the down slide for now. Figured out one of the issues slowing me down last week. Did you know the Safeway Lucerne brand whipping cream (33%) has sucrose in it!!? (At least in Canada). Goes to show you can never get lazy about reading labels. Here I was thinking heavy whipping cream is heavy whipping cream, whatever the brand. Uh uh.

My Dairyland brand has .25 carbs per tbsp. Lucerne has 1.0 -- so four times as much!! I like a good dose in my coffee, so that really adds up.

Reminded me not to rely too much on memory (Lord knows my memory is shot to hell after having kids) -- and double check everything.

So now that I have some carb creep under control I seem to be back on the losing track. Maybe I'll catch up with Lisa's great losses!!

And Shelly - a new low. I'd claim it!!

Laura, I'm sorry your weekend plans are ruined. Is there any way that you can go there to see him instead? If not, just pamper yourself this weekend. Manicure, Pedicure, etc.... All the things we never have enough time for!

BulldogMom, I'm with you, I'd rather have the scale stay where it is than bounce up. Lately I'm just bouncing around and not making too much scale progress, but I'm really really hoping for a Whoosh soon!!!

Not enough sleep so expected an increase in weight. I'm going to go get my nails and toes done this weekend and talk to him lots on the phone. He keeps telling me this will all work out it's just gonna take time so I have to go with that. He's worth waiting for, besides he's waited for me for years.

Most grocery stores up here in Canada carry a bunch of different kinds of Lindt dark chocolate -- from 70% - 95% chocolate. I even bought some 99% the other day to make the LC peanut butter cups. So good.
