Yea I don't think I would want any again either after that... I just seen one of facebook that looked good.. the crust was made out of cream cheese.. I can share the recipe if you like...

Well I haven't mention my exercise, but I have did 2500 pedals in 4 days....so that is 10,000 very proud of myself.... I wish I had a bike that would count for me... but I do have a clicker and when I do 100 I click it off....

Have everyone has a wonderful night...

Hello everyone,

Goals for this month, 140lbs..
Exercising and live my life to the fullest potential, making myself a propriety, health and well b
eing..love, laugh, life. My oldest son turns 31, my third son turns 17. Where, did the time go...

September 1st 144lbs
September 2nd 144lbs
September 3rd. 145lbs
September 4th. 144lbs
September 5th. 144lbs
September 6th. 144lbs
September 7th. 143lbs
September 8th. 145lbs
September 9th. 144lbs
September 10th. 143lbs.
September 11th. 143lbs
September 12th. 142lbs
September 13th. 142lbs

Today is my dear husband and third son birthday, so after a very long day on site came home and made dinner, roast pork, stir fry vegetables and a very cheese up pasta..we had a lovely dinner together as a family the two older boys are home with there better halves as well..my daughter made individual apple pies using our apples..yes is apple season now.,so I ate the vegetables and pork, and had stewed apple with cinnamon over high fat yogurt..just wonderful..they have all gone but me to see a scary movie...notttttttt me I'll not pay to be scared I must tell you that I was not in the least tempted by the pies or even the vanilla ice cream..not once.. Now every one is so use to me eating this way no one even comments about it..we have ton of pasta left...I think it the entire family is really eating far less carbs..they were all o full of dinner that really I'd not have much desert.. I am a very happy mama.

Congrats It'stime on the loss..way t o go, keep posting it really is a helpful tool on this journey.

Bulldogmom, you are so very funny..you had me laughing you know from my post that when ever I eat sausage I retain tons of water..I hate the scale the next day but I really enjoy sausage and kale..

Kaillean, i love you post regarding you family changing their eating habits as well, for me we always eat healthy, non of my four are over weight by any means they all play sports and work on our farm, the reason I decided to adopt this lower carb lifestyle was because I caught myself eating minelessly, not even enjoying the for just shoveling I down my throat..so I started to remove high carb foods and I just simply cook that way, my husband has lost weight and my children also eat less carbs..I still cook potatoes, homegrown..I make pasta as I did tonight but I use a wholegrain pasta and brown rice etc..the biggest difference I see is in sugar consumption at home..my daughter loves to bake, but even today in her mini pies she used no sugar in the apples..I had the apple stew it was sweet and delish... no sugar needed..but we all drank sugar in tea or coffee and that has been the biggest change for our family...every one has cut back or cut out..so little by little thing are looking great:

Shelly congrats on your daughter's wonderful achievementsand way to go, staying strong today..

Mthergoo so many wonderful achievements from you daughter as well..
And another loss..you know what they say slow and steady wins the race. You are a winner.

1moregin i hope today I a better one for you.

Grateful_love It good to just get back to your plan..wishing your husband all the best with this interview.. I'm praying that things work out well for you both

DQ what a very difficult day it must have been for you, you have such strength, and it has taken you through a very emotional time with such grace, I hope the sun shines for you tomorrow.

Pink how are you doing today..No more peanuts

Hi Julie hope all is going well for you on your trip, hope you are getting to read and catch up.. this has become quit and active thread..think in of you.

We are missing Kemp as well..hope all is well.

Your are all doing so very well..I love coming home after a difficult day and catching up with everyone.

I'm happy to see a loss, any loss. The kids and I ended up at my family's house for the last pool party of the year. I ate grilled chicken and a hot dog and a few bites of a Quest bar. I had reservations about the hot dog.

You should be so proud of her!!!!That is fantastic!!!

Then yesterday, DH and I traveled 5 hours one way for a job interview. I packed hb eggs, sf jello, and some turkey roll-ups--all of which I ate before we got there. On the way home, we stopped somewhere for wings..and again, mine had weird saucy stuff on them, but I was so hungry I ate them anyway..knowing that there was probably more carbs than I should have on them. Then, because I felt like i for sure sabotaged myself, I gave in and I ate an icecream cone and three squares of a dove chocolate bar.

(TOM has to be coming..when I first started atkins in march, it began to regulate itself, and that was wonderful..but before that it was always wonky and off. I had one at the beginning of August, so I know I'm coming due for a visit, but I've been holding water and having cravings for two weeks now--and it's still not here. Sigh.)

Not that this justifies ANYTHING because it doesn't. At all. I knew exactly what I was doing and I opened my mouth anyway. I won't give myself any excuses. I'm positive that it's a combination of things that lead me to this bad decision, but it doesn't justify it at all. I had been stuck between 2 pounds for a few weeks, ups and downs. I was starving because I didn't adequately pack a lunch, and I was stressed about the job interview, but none of that says, "Go ahead and eat dove chocolate and an icecream cone." Ugh.

Needless to say, when I was eating the chocolate it tasted too sweet. My stomach feels like i swallowed a balloon and that I should throw up, and I am SO sad at myself. Ugh. So sad. SOOOOOO sad and guilty. I promised myself after the pizza fiasco that I wouldn't do this to myself.

I'm not weighing until I have 3 solid days of meat and eggs.

It was just one meal. If I allow myself to focus on my mistake too much, then I won't focus on my goal. Back on the wagon. With tissues and frustration and guilt. But back on the wagon.

Keep up the good work, guys. I'm so proud of all of you!! Seeing your frustrations and daily struggles reminds me that I'm human and that this IS a difficult journey sometimes. Other times, it feels like it's cake. Sometimes, there's a freezer demon and a chocolate bar.

Thanks so much for being here and for listening.

[quote=BulldogMom;16602911]Mycattaz, You're right. I usually don't lose when I eat a hot dog so I felt lucky with a 0.2 lb loss. I wasn't expecting to eat dinner at my family's house but couldn't get the kids out of the pool and I was starving. But I guess one hot dog isn't so bad. I very rarely eat them.

Grateful Love, I think most of us have the moments where we give in to things we shouldn't. For those that don't ever cheat, well good for them. If only we all could be that strong. The important thing is to dust yourself off and get back on the wagon. Learn from your mistakes and carry on. A person who can recover from a mistake is a person who is definitely in this for the long haul. Hang in there, you are doing great!

I am still working at it !!!I actually walked to the football game, worked out a short time on an elliptical and walked home!! One day at a time!! Shelly, I hope you stayed strong! I made a really good cauliflower pizza crust this week and froze one just to see how it would do. We unfroze it and all of the non-low carbers in the family loved the pizza. Kids included. I made a breakfast pizza too that came out well. My downfall is the cheese that I put on top. But I'll still keep a crust around for emergencies.

It'sTime, glad to see you back and congrats on the loss!

Laura, you've busted through the door and kept going! WTG!

mycattaz, you should be so proud of yourself on the exercise! It isn't easy to get started on a routine. But you are doing it consistently. WTG!

Trinigirl, I LOVE scary movies. My dh would rather save his money for a war film. But its so fun to go with a group and get scared. Congrats on the losses! You are what this journey should be about. Always positive and tenacious even through gains and stalls because the losses will come.

Starrhae, Congrats on your loss!

Niki, Congrats on your loss too! You're just 4 lbs from your Sept goal. You got this!

1moregin, even though you didn't get a lot of sleep, you still had a loss. I'm betting it would have been an even bigger loss had you did get a full night of sleep.

My son has discovered he LOVES quinoa salad, which makes me very happy. Unfortunately, his favorite school lunch is still PB & J on white bread. Sigh.
Kaillean, my kids don't have a weight issue either. Actually I'm the only one in my family with a weight issue thanks to the PCOS. But I've been trying to fix healthier foods for the kids. My youngest is a challenge because she won't eat meat except for an occasional hot dog and she isn't fond of vegetables. She loves her cheeses, pastas, breads and some fruits. I've been experimenting with things like black bean brownies, the cauliflower pizza crust, chick pea chocolate chip cookies etc. I'm hoping that my kids will see me as an example.

You could maybe take some beef jerky? Check the labels, some have quiet a few carbs, but some don't. There's also a bacon jerky out that my son really loves that is really low carb.

Or maybe some hard boiled eggs. Or some cheese squares.

OH! I know. You could use some cheese and make up a baggie of those little cheese crackers and take those with you. I LOVE those and they taste like Cheez-Its. So GOOD!!
