Is almond flour okay for Induction?

I am trying to find new things to eat while trying to stay on an extended Induction phase. Is almond flour okay to eat?

No. Nuts--and nut derivatives-- are not allowed during induction.

If you're doing an extended induction, you can decide to go up a rung and add nuts, but keep your carbs at 20g.

Thanks! I suspected as much but wanted to be sure. I just want to find something to make a good hamburger roll. I love hamburgers but miss having something to hold it (and the fixin's) together. I have tried the lettuce wraps and they are ok but hoping for another alternative. Any suggestions?

You can try oopsie rolls, which are induction friendly. There are about a million different variations, discussed in the recipe section.

I've never made them, but some people love them.

There's also one minute muffins (some people call them muffin in a minute), made with flaxmeal in the microwave.

Just wanted to point out that this is exactly why I use OWL and the ladder.
If you miss a roll and can make a good one using almond flour, why not make that addition and see if it works? It isn't Induction anymore, but it's definitely OWL.

As long as you don't skimp on the veggies, you can be thoughtful about the rest of the day you use the roll, and still stay at 20 or whatever your number is for carbs.

For me, I allow a few more carbs, like 25 to 30 total now, but there's lots of days that I'm at 15 or 18, too, so it really isn't that different from induction. Think about it, and if it works for you it can be a nice addition to your way of eating. But you have to be prepared to let it go if the almond product doesn't work for you (feel bad, crave, slowed losses).

Oopsie rolls. When I want a burger on a bun, these are my go to's...and you can have them on induction.
