I slept so wonderfully following my first day back on Atkin's. The scale said I gained 2 Lbs overnight, So I am going to do my best to not step back on it this week. I drank A LOT of water yesterday, so I believe my body is just not used to that yet.
Today I go back to work and feel nervous. I have packed my Lunch bag:
-2 devilled egg halves
-3 small tomatoes
-An Atkins Bar
I know Almonds aren't allowed on induction, I just worry so that I will cheat, that I packed them as a better alternative to cheezits or m&Ms.
Ok, well I am just trying to be accountable, I appreciate the area to vent.
I am on day 2 and also eating almonds. It's nice to keep a wider variety of food and it does keep me from going for the bad stuff. I have cocoa almonds for that chocolate craving. (I know my body can handle the carb count though...I'm breastfeeding and my little one cluster feeds)
Hey y'all! Looks like we all started within a couple if days of each other. Today is day 4 for me & I'm down 8 lbs. for the 1st time in 4 yrs, my ankles were not swollen like giant basketballs after sitting at my desk for 12 hr. That in itself makes me feel overjoyed!I'm trying to focus on these moments rather than looking at the mountain of fat i still need to shed. I told my hubs that I don't care if it is 8lbs of water; it's 8lbs I'm not hauling around.
