New Here!
Hi everyone,

My name is Julianna and I'm new here! I just started Induction on Monday and am already down about 7 lbs. (Woot!) I turn 35 in October, so I would really like to be at my goal or very close to my goal by then. The first few days of induction were very difficult, but I'm excited to see results. (On the second day, I had to really, really convince myself to not buy a full box of Twinkies... I don't even like Twinkies that much.)

I am the mom of three girls and the pounds didn't seem to want to come off after the third one. She is now four, so I can't really blame it on pregnancy weight anymore :)

I've been struggling with my weight for about the past three years and even after working out with a trainer, being faithful to weight watchers, and counting calories, I still didn't lose weight. So, I had a long talk with my doctor and she recommended that I look at Low Carb options.

Anywho, here I am! I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you and losing weight with all of you!

Hi Julianna:
Welcome.. I am new also. I started Atkins AGAIN on 06/29/13, and totally understand the frustration of the induction phase. But you are doing well so far, just remember you will not always lose fast, it might slow down and maybe even stall, but don't give up ...It will come off. We have to be determine and keep going and we can win this battle and take control of our weight issues for good.

OK now I'm off my soap box, welcome. The people here are very helpful and have great pointers when we have issues and need answers.

Welcome! There's so much great information on here, and when you feel like you might want to "cheat", come on here and read, read, read. It truly helps you to stay focused.

Hi! New here as well. I did atkins about 10 years ago...lost weight went off of it gained everything back and then some :/ I had really bad eating habits.

I actually found this forum because I'm on day 11 of low carb and am barely in ketosis and have been under 20carbs a day. I've been reading posts so have some ideas

Newbie to the forum too. In fact, upon reflection at o'dark in the morning, it seems I 've committed a social faux pas of sorts by posting to your exercise question before introducing myself to the board. Atkins' induced cranial flatulence, maybe?
