Not losing Weight Induction Week 2
 
Hello all, this is my first time posting and my first time sticking to Atkins for more than a few days. I've been on induction for 13 days now and although I lost around 3lbs the first week, my weight keeps fluctuating in the second. 149.8 to 151.6 the next day, then 149.2, 148.8 and then today 149.8. I'm a 5'9" younger woman and although I know I'm at a healthy BMI and all that but I have a bit of a tummy, the rest of me is perfectly fine, I just want to lose the belly fat. I did weigh that much a few years ago. I also pretty athletic, trying to run a few miles every day or every other. But why am I not losing weight the second week? On Wednesday I was looking forward to eating berries and nuts again but should I do a third week of induction since I've only lost a grand total of 0.2lbs? I'm even thinking about quitting atkins since I'm not losing the belly weight or any kind of weight anyway. Help!! I was so happy to be in the 140s again but it doesn't seem like it wants to budge now. I wanted to lose the weight this summer since ill be starting grad school in August and wanted to use the summer to get really in shape since I know I'll be very busy back at school. Now I just feel very discouraged.

Since you do not have a lot of weight to lose you may want to get on an exercise program that targets the area you wish to lose in!! There are a lot of different programs you can do.. You may want to post on the exercise board to see what is working for people there as well!
