Heading out to Phoenix now. Won't be back for most of the week. Was really hoping for one more big Whoosh before the surgery, but it didn't happen. So as of right now I'm down 57 pounds and really hoping this doesn't stall me for long.

Late last week - 117
July 1 - 114
July 2 - 113.4
July 3 -110.8
July 4 - 108.2 (was off today and stress ate - still no more than 50 grams of carbs but still oops - plus the gym was closed)

July 5 - 110.2 - went to the gym after work

July 6 - 109.6 - did not get to go to the gym before left to visit DH had a bad meal with DH which led to a carb binge there goes that all-or-nothing mentality again

July 7 - 111.6 - extreme low carbing today - no more than 20 grams!!!! went to the gym today.

Does anyone know if having a upcarb day or "cheat" day helps anyway?

I was thinking of trying it but I think it's more for when you're around your target and you are maintaining. Targeted Keto Diet...Low Carb all week then carb load for the weekend, or just one day.

I think lifters etc do this more to reload glucogen stores in their muscles for the week of lifting etc. I lift 5 x week usually but I still need to lose too much to do it. I even cut out my post workout protein shake cause it has too many carbs.

Hello and happy Monday! I'm on vacation in Missouri so typing on my phone. Can't weigh either, which is hard! Eating on plan, which is hard since a lot of my favorite foods here are breaded, fried and covered in gravy!! Did some shopping and bought a few pair of new shorts in size 10 and they fit great! I'm finally back to a 10!!!!! I haven't fit a 10 since my mid-twenties (before kids)!! Now I just need to lose another 10 or so and start figuring out how to maintain.

Mthergoos, sending hugs and prayers!! Hope all goes well!

Hope everyone has a great week and stays on plan!! KUTGW everyone!!!

Good Morning!
Day one (again) of induction went well. I really wanted something chocolate, but I hung in there and got through it! I'd like to be at 134 next month when my girls start school. Its a huge mental thing for me. I tend to be less social depending on my weight. I don't want to shy away from my girls school events this year because I feel less confident in myself due to my appearance. Hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Princessmommy- thanks for the kind words! Good luck with the eating out, it can be tough, but it can be done!

Mthergoos- best of luck to you!

To all others looks like everyone is hanging tough, and moving alot!

I have decided not to weigh everyday because it makes me crazy and with the amount of working out and lifting I am doing I don't think it's a great measure for me.

I am going to count on plan days and workouts here to keep accountable!

Have a great Monday everyone!

Mthergoos - good luck.

Well, well well I have been bad. Funny thing its not like I have been eating chocolate cake or anything. Just made a Ham and 15 beans soup, which I love, and had homemade bread 2 days in a row. So not on plan but so good. My pantry is very low on thing so trying to eat what I can. Having problems with thing around here, but that's nothing new. Back on track today day 1.

Menu:
B - coffee, hwc, splenda, 2 eggs, 1 oz goat cheese
L - turkey w/mayo
D - ham & 15 bean soup, homemade bread, 2 glasses wine
S - 1 oz cheese

Goal = 153 (8 pounds)

7/2 = 161
7/3 = 161
7/4 = 159
7/5 = 161.5 (tom)
7/6 = 163.5 (tom)
7/7 = 162.5 (tom)

Hi pcaltman, step away from the bread lol, I think the bean soup even thou it's higher carbs it still good for you. I eat beans in my low carb regime but bread would push me over the edge to binge...

Julie so happy about your shorts news. Way to lose.

Shelly, have fun on your vacation i know how hard it will be to stick on your plan, but I know you can do it.
Great loss labmini, :-) :-)

Hi all,

I am not a newbie to the WOE- BTDT about 10+ years ago and had success...

Want to try this again.

Started today...

Anyone else? Good luck, I can't wait to read more when I come home from work. Just wanted to say hi. Meet (re-meet) some LCF and get some accountability!

I was 1moregin (can't find all my stats or posts!) but here I am again. One more again 2013.

Happy Monday.

7/3/13: 220.6
7/8/13: 220.0 saw a glimpse of 219 but won't post it until it sticks.

4th weekend wasn't too bad. thought I would be way up as I def ate carbs. but looks like i'm holding steady. Snacking on some bacon now. Made a whole chicken in the crockpot for the first time and threw in some mixed veggies and green beans. First time making it so when I went to take out the chicken it disintegrated and I had to then fish all the bones out. Anyways, great soup for me, can't feed it to the kids though. I've only actually come across 2 bones. And tonight I will be cooking pork loins in the crockpot again. or maybe oven with some cheese or artichoke hearts on top...not sure which. Will have to google a recipe to see what I start craving.

Half day at work today. So I will have the rest of the day at home to finish cooking up some low carb options for me.

checking in

Hello everyone. Just checking in. I am at MIL house out of town so no scale. I am praying that I lose. I cant wait to see what the scale says when I get home!

My MIL treats us well ...always feeding us...thank God my blood sugars had stabilized before we left home because I have not been tempted....not once. We even went out for Japanese food and I did great...not perfect...I did have a few bites of rice and noodles so hoping that doesn't stall me....regardless...I feel really good...no sugar or caffeine either for 8 days now!!!....those first about 3 days were so rough..so proud I made it!!

So for anyone starting...just push through the first 3 days...I promise it gets easier after that...

Hope ya'll have great day!

Day 1 down...

Pawleys Thank you for the welcome back. I got admin to reinstate my old account. So, my previous pix are online and attached to me.

Giving it the next go around and neeeeed accountability.

I got rid of my ex-to-be (zero stress, less stress eating, less him being my "pusher" (i like you big)), and I am ready to rock and roll

Day 1 went well. I cooked a chicken for the first time, and put it in glass storage containers for later this week.

Good luck everyone. Will check in as often as I can. Glad facebook didn't take over LCF! I am old school and like BBs.

Good night all.

Morning everyone! Still on vacation here! I'm the first one awake so I thought i'd say HI! First thing I wanted to do was weigh this morning! But No scale Lol! I'm thinking I did ok yesterday. LC bar for breakfast before we took off, then we stopped at McDonalds (major Yuck!) and I had the big mac with the onion, tomato and cheese and No bun. I did steal 3 French fries but quickly found out I do Not miss those anymore. Yuck! Then salad for supper. I even resisted getting a shake or sundae! I wanted it Bad but told my husband i'd have it tomorrow! He asked Why tomorrow? And I just said if I say That then i'll keep putting it off and Not have it did have 3 russel stovers sf candies but I figure thats better then a Very sugary Very HC shake!

pcaltman - sounds like you are doing great...

1moregin - glad to hear that you got rid of the stress make.... good luck sounds like you are off to a great start

shelly - great job on not having a shake... know that must of been hard...
and I am the same way on French fries.... they just do not taste good to me now...

just got back from doing 35 min of my water aerobics..... water felt sooo good..and again I was down one pound.... I know water weight,,, but it makes me excited and to keep on this lifestyle.... so I am down 7 pounds in two weeks....

will try to eat very clean today..... will measure and weigh my food.... that is a must for me..... I tend to over do it if I just eyeball the food...

hope that everyone has a great day

Way to go Princessmommy for not getting a shake, and a salad besides! I probably would have gotten the biggest double cheeseburger without a bun I could find!

Hummingbird - Hit those weights! I do a lot of lifting, which is why I cant live and die by the scale. The scale will go up the day after you lift as your muscles recover and build strength, but keep at it and you will see you body shape change.

I am heavier, but everyone tells me I look "narrower" and its because if the weights.

AnnetteW- Keep at it. I was stuck for three months (ok not what you wanted to hear) but some of us are slower losers than others- I saw a great post here the other day about staying consistent and that ober a year you see a steady decline. It has helped me just stay the course these last few days- best of luck and just keep at it

Mischale Congrats to you! Isn't it wonderful how great this WOE can make you feel?

So after this novel I wrote- apologies to anyone I missed

Feeling really good today - saw a drop on the scale (I know I wasn't supposed to weigh)

Didnt work out last night but spent time talking to my husband so I thought that sometimes thats a little more important!

July 5- OP 1/WO
July 6- OP 2
July 7- OP 3/WO
July 8- OP

Have a great day all!
