Went to the gym today, worked out with both the gals that I work with in the office. We rotated together and rest periods were waiting on the others to do their reps. Was fun. Going again in the morning.
Remembered to take my pills yesterday and today... makes such a difference.

OK it's 1:01 a.m. here and I have a confession...I had a cookie binge last night.. it was the Leclerc dark chocolate butter cookies. Two cookies contain 20 carbs each, I had 6 cookies... I knew I should not eat them but I did...the truth was that I was emotionally and physically exhausted and worried about financial things...and so I reached for my old comfort sweets..now I don't feel good inside...it feels better to wright it here. Well just had a large glass of water and back to induction in the later morning.

Trinigirl - I have a tendency to stress eat too (see below ). I hope things get better for you. Remember this isn't all-or-nothing just get back up, shake off the dust, and get back on the low carb wagon.

Late last week - 117
July 1 - 114
July 2 - 113.4
July 3 -110.8
July 4 - 108.2 (was off today and stress ate - still no more than 50 grams of carbs but still oops - plus the gym was closed

July 5 - 110.2 - went to the gym after work

July 6 - 109.6 - hope to go to the gym this morning before I have to go out of town for most of day

Good morning! I was thrilled to see the scale drop! I cut out my nuts (was eating way too many) and dairy yesterday..hmmm.

I am off to a 3-day trip to MIL so I may not post for 3 days - hoping for a big loss. She has lots of land so I hope to walk a lot - It will be hard to stay on diet but I am really going to try.

Tringirl- thanks for posting your cookie binge - it helps to know it happens to all of us and it helps to see you pick yourself up!

PrincessMommy: Wow it seems you were at the weight I am starting at and you are AT my goal weight - How long did it take you?

Julie1972: Wow love how you posted your 2013 weight loss - your results are awesome! I am going to copy how you did that - love seeing that progress!

Trini i've been there sweetie. Love that you're already back on track! Huge Gigantic Hug for ya!!

Mischale I started May 21st of last year. I had a hysterectomy Dec 27th so since then my weight loss slowed down some probably due to healing but I Seem to be back losing! Yay!!

So Got TOM Thought it was coming but really....With the tortilla chips I ate on the 4th now I am hurting. Oh well, was good yesterday and will be today. Just keep moving.

Good Morning Everyone, Well.... morning here still, but probably not everywhere else.

Just got down grocery shopping, and I'll spend tonight cooking so that my DBF can stay on plan while I'm in the hospital. He's doing really good, and I don't want to give him any excuse to go off plan.

Trini, (((HUGS))) We've all been there. Don't let it throw you completely off track, it's just a little blip in the process. You're doing great and I know you'll continue to do so. I've even heard Jillian Michaels say, "If you think I'm never going to eat a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup again, you're wrong!" LOL We all go a little off plan now and then.

DQ, you're doing AMAZING!! So inspiring!

Shelly, I can't wait to be where you're at!

Pink, it looks like the scale is bouncing around a little less than it was before, so maybe your body is settling into this for you.

this is the most I have ever weighed... felling really bad... so tired... just do not want to do anything..... so I am back to taking control of my life and weight.
was 308 last Sunday and today was 304 and I was not 100 percent on Atkins yet.... but started counting my carbs yesterday.... but I will have to really watch my blood sugar.... yesterday my blood sugar dropped to 88 and I knew that I had to get something to eat for dinner... was reading and did not realize how late it was.... so I have to make sure I eat at regular times.

today had:
B - two hard-boiled eggs with 2 strips of bacon .
lunch - two hot dogs and one cup of cole slaw w/other veggies
tonight will be having crab legs just can not wait... it has been about 6 months since I had crab legs...
plus I went to the movie The Heat and did not have any popcorn.. - my sister had some but I stayed tough.. was very proud of myself...

and I have been going back to my health club and doing my water aerobics...
my goal is to go every single day......

so - I guess my July goal will be dropping 10 pounds.....
to 294.... and I really do know that can do this...I just need to stick with it....

Hi eveyone! I'm in maine, where we're having a heat wavea, ugh....i've beena little heat stroke-y all day. I haven't eaten much...a one-egg omelet and some deviled eggs just now.

Trinigirl... I think that you will continue to sabotage yourself until your brain kicks yourself into a zone in which you will be totally focused. At work the othr day, i told my colleague that i was starving. And she told me that that meant i was about to cheat. no, I said, it was just that i hadn't eaten much the night before and that morning. Nuh-uh, she said. Well, I haven't gone off plan since March of last year ...i am totally in the zone. I went next door to the Subway and got the innnards of an egg sandwich. It filled me up, and all is good.
You can be in the same place, but you have to be totally ready for it.

Lost 40 pounds back then and maintained for almost 8 years...then carb creep crept. I've always been low carb, but went hard core again in March 2012.

I'm hoping and looking forward to the day when I reach that zone of being able to sort out my emotions without resorting to eating sweets, in my brain I know better, I have never given my children sweets or comfort foods when they were upset because I wanted to break that cycle...I have been a parent for almost 31 years...yet I can teach my kids to deal with things without food, or drink or drugs but I resort to high sugar foods as my drug to medicate away that feeling...so I am now a work in progress, working towards that goal...

Good morning all- I have been staying on induction, just took a quick trip to my parents so couldn't post. Glad to catch up with everyone here, welcome new friends, and see all of the support and love being passed around!

I am really happy with my loss today- I actually thinking dropping my veggie intake a little and upping the fat has helped break this stall for me- plan for today is to cook some LC food to have at the ready and meal plan so I am set for the week!

Hello! New LC Friends Member!

Hello Challengers,

I started low carb on July 1st. While it's not my first low carb rodeo, my starting weight is the highest it's ever been. In the last two years, I've gained about 30 pounds. I have lots of reasons why that are just excuses.

I am here to reclaim my health, to feel good, and to reclaim control of the choices I make. I look forward to this journey and being a cheerleader, student and teacher along the way.

Kudos to everyone for making through the holiday!!

went and did my water aerobics today... 50 min... felt soooo good....
and I dropped another pound... total of 5 pounds since last Sunday.... so now at 303

if I feel good today... I will also do my walking tape - we will see....
